    I was lucky enough to ride Blue Fire @ Europa Park back in 2013. Steel Taipan looks great. Will definitely have to ride it soon

    This is probably the 2nd best blue fire clones out there!

      It’s not a 1:1 replica because of the 3 launches but they’ve done it good

    0:57 Wonky corkscrew. But ride looks awesome. Interesting deviation from standard Blue Fire coaster. Guess Mack got a good 2 coasters out of Australia these last few years. Gold Coast must have liked that one coaster they built, the Hyper one in Australia.

      If the ride/trains are smooth the wonkyness could be a plus.

      @@ego4551 A lot of Mack coasters have a rattle and general wonkiness. I've always believed it was their train design. A lot of vibration coming up. Plus seats are pretty high off track on Mack's. But yeah, I enjoy the wonkiness of an old Arrow mine train. Not sure it translates or is same thing on this though.

      @@jonny-b4954 I completely agree on the trains. Track layout and concept of Bluefire (got the original close by) always looked great/competent. Looking at the train going through it however....

      Its the camera, its on a smoothed gimbal or something, wich makes it look wonky/snappy

    Ok the spike is cool and all, but those can’t be called launches anymore

    • @omelet-744
      @omelet-744 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you think that cant be a launch. Check out mavericks lift hill that counts as a launch.

      Agreed! My hope is we'll get in there to film a POV soon enough.

  • @Marty_NZ
    @Marty_NZ 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Much better than the first POV, however it's still skipping/missing frames. It's like they recorded in 24fps and edited in 30 or something. Have you tried uploading this at 60fps? "OgreMagic" 's first one at 60fps looked OK. Anyway, looks like a good addition to the Gold Coast.

    • @OurWorldsco
      @OurWorldsco  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah sorry about that mate - I guess at the end of the day we get what we're given. Here's hoping we can film something ourselves and get you something crisp when it opens.

    why do so many parks think they have to do this with their launches? it really isn't that cool of an element

    • @SmileBullet
      @SmileBullet 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Nothing else like it in the region, will help to draw in the public. Longer ride time, too, and again the public usually are fans

    • @max-_-6352
      @max-_-6352 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Less stress too I’d assume on the magnets? Perhaps less maintenance too seeing as there is physically less of them

    • @omelet-744
      @omelet-744 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dreamworld has had a rough 5 years and they need a gimmick with their ride. So cut them some slack as there isn't any ride like it in Australia.

    • @max-_-6352
      @max-_-6352 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      After riding it the backwards launch is pretty strong. You go from 20-80 ish km/h in like 2 seconds

  • @Womio
    @Womio 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Is that a bigger blue fire than the real one ?

    • @jonny-b4954
      @jonny-b4954 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Nah. Just different. Well, technically, it's like 3-4' taller than Blue Fire at Europa. Less LSM's on launch than normal Blue Fire's looks like. Probably because it gets 2 passes through launch now.

  • @AnotherSwissYoutubeUser
