Very pretty Rémi. Your tempo let the actual hymn stand out better than mine. I played it more towards a meditation (deliberately because I wanted the harmonies to stand out instead of the solo). I had to laugh a little about your “struggles” in the last part. I found it quite challenging to go from the solo part to the last part because of its totally other texture and rhythm. And the last few bars are pretty difficult. So it was recognizable. :-). But nevertheless well done!
Such a lovely setting by Luigi Mengoni of this great Pentecost hymn, and beautifully registered and performed by you, Rémi: bravo! (On Sunday, my latest composition - a Rhapsody on 'Veni Creator Spiritus' will be uploaded to my channel as well as being given its premier at Blackburn Cathedral during the Civic Service!)
Awesome ! I can't wait to hear that ! If it's affordable for my humble skills, I will beg you the score for next year. Thank you so much for your rewarding words Graham !
