Mine was a delicious frosting. Regardless, I never have used Nappage. Mascarpone once.. Im not a baker, but can with Patience needed. This glaze is beautiful and I would like to achieve myself, as I only get in a fine restaurant. Your method of fine detail with pan and all that entails is above and beyond 🙌. Hi. Your cake looks amazing but there are quite a lot of ingredients for me :) Can I skip Nappage ? And Can I substitude mascarpone cream cheese with Philadephila cream cheese ?
Hi. Nappage can be omitted. However, you need to increase the amount of starch syrup a little, which needs testing. Mascarpone and cream cheese have very different flavors and flavors and cannot be replaced in the same amount.
