We will arrive via Ferry on July 21 and only for 4 nights I have a Drone question for Chano; I will bring a DJI mini Pro 4 wich is class (0) under 250 grams. We´re really happy that you appreciate our work and that you found inspiration on it to visit this incredible island. You´ll love it there for sure! 😊 Chano said that he is not sure as the European Union is changing drone laws often. He thinks that you should be OK with that kind of drone, but he advises everyone to get a drone insurance (he has the basic 20€ per year policy with Coverdrone that covers most countries in the world) just in case. He has a DJI Mavic Air 2, so he needed to register the drone in Ireland and do an online exam every 2 years to renew the European permits and fly legally in the Union countries. He also said that checking this website that he used for drone maps in Italy may be useful for you: www.d-flight.it/new_portal/en/ Another advice is to not take off and land near people if possible, as someone could report you in that case, keeping 30 meters away from everyone should be enough, but sometimes, specially in crowded places or beaches, people may get annoyed and the last thing you want it is to have to explain to the police that your drone is below 250g, etc. Once the drone is high up in the sky most people won´t care.
