I’m coming back to this video after managing to breed my budgies and get five hatches, but the fifth one didn’t make it past a few days. However, all four of my other babies are all very healthy and just starting to get their feathers coming in! It has been such an amazing journey.

Tell me about it! I had to suffer how one of my budgie mom rejected one of her chicks. I did my best to save him to no avail. Mom knew it was futile. Despite nature being beautiful and amazing is also dark, cold and cruel. 😭🐦

I think the baby bugie snapped its neck. Once a bird sits on it / steps on it wrong, it has a high change of breaking its neck since its not fully developed.
My 2 budgie too, can u tell why is the parents its not feeding the budgie after 14 th day ? And if we hand feed its nit accepting the food how to solve pls tell fastly

Maybe the cute lil baby hadtoo much food inside the throat or , as You said , was stepped on . I am very scared at a bigger number of eggs , the first baby could stamp on the last and weakest one . Some recommend to take the eggs aside and replace with arteficial eggs , until all are layed . That way all are hatching at the same day . I would be scared to remove infertile eggs , the parents might become nervous and throw all eggs out . 🐣🐤

I had 3 baby budgies that hatched but all of them died unfortunately. The female was the only one taking care of the babies bc we lost the male but she took great care of her babies, they were fed very well and were in great conditions and then suddenly one by one all of them died 💔
Hi, that happened to us, I don't know why, plus this my 1st time with bird, but it hurts, know we have 1 that mommy didn't feed and did not care so gosh!!! I get up every 2 to 3 hrs to feed and put hot water in bottles, I'm happy cuz it recognizes our voice,
I had 6 and have 1 left they also died 1 by one im trying my best to hand feed them the mom wouldnt feed some of them
