@MrCoronado98 sluff is the loose powder snow that falls all around you on steeper lines, while not as dangerous as a true avalanche which is usually more of a deep slab style break, sluff can still tackle you and take you down when you least expect it and even bury you in a worst case scenario...it's also really fun when your line is sluffing all around you and you just point it and outrun the white room down the hill...

These guys are totally mad. I knew of one of them ATTACHED in a wheel chair now who can't even take a shit without his nurse, not even move an arm, totally paralysed. Was in Chamonix in one of these. A famous guy (a nice and charming guy for that matter). I myself broke my leg once just regular, normal skiing, I tell you what that's enough.
