Hey, on the tractor 🚜 always go bigger then what you think you will need and make sure it’s one that you can add all the extra implements to. One that meets your needs and more. You can add the auger which will be great for planting trees and digging posts. One where you add the Att to be able to mow which will cover big area quicker. And a bucket in front with the scoop digger in the back. As far as fruit trees they say to actually plant on a slope it’s better for drainage and also think about asteticks. Once you add peaches then most likely you will want to add more things. Think about which way the sun is for placement also. Fruit trees do take a lot of work, so be prepared for the spraying and trimming and thinning of the fruit and possibley bagging the fruit. They need spraying with copper and best to use kanolin clay for protection of bugs , plus more organic! I can see Shelly now riding on her tractor with her cowgirl hat n boots and Brian singing…..she thinks her tractor l’s 🚜 sexy, she really turns me on! Hahahaha Lol! Get the tractor and the implements as a package deal. You guys definitely need it and it will make your lives there on the farm so much easier. P.S. I would also start laying down big sheets of cardboard in all the places you want to plant and put compost on top of it then some mulch. No weeds and the soil will be beautiful and so rich and lively with by next year you wouldn’t believe. You can get the cardboard at big box stores for free. Just let them know you want it ahead so they can save for you and it makes their job easier because they don’t have to break it down.
Interesting sunflower info: "Young sunflowers follow the sun's path across the sky during the day, a process called heliotropism or solar tracking. This movement is controlled by the plant's internal circadian clock, which allows it to sense the time of day and predict events like sunrise. As the sun moves west, the sunflowers' vegetative stems pivot to follow it, and at night they slowly turn back east in preparation for the next day. However, as the sunflowers mature and their stems become woody, their movement decreases. Eventually, the flower heads stop following the sun and face east all the time. This is because the stems need to become rigid and reinforced to support the weight of the seed heads, and they do this by producing lignin, the same material that makes tree trunks stiff."
I have a daylily hybridizing question. How do you pollinate if the stamens have a brown coating and the pollen isn't visible? I've had some success last year but I'm not sure how to get the pollen under the brown coating. Thank you, Vicki
What is your business plan? Are you just aiming to do cut flowers or are you also planning on become a greenhouse that sells plants (annuals and perennials, trees and shrubs)? I think there would be more money to make selling plants rather than selling cut flowers.

Dang Shelley, I wish I was wealthy so I could buy you a tractor…… you sure deserve it..
I think your boss needs two tractors. One configured for mowing and the other set up for the implements 😊

Have we named the farm yet?
Why don't you have a Patreon? Or, contact John Deere for a sponsorship or however that works...
Love the video. Why don't you guys get a John Deere to sponsor and provide a tractor free gratis!!?
My sunflowers always stay facing east…they never turn..
Where ar3u gonna store your tractor?
I would be taking 10 inches of the top soil off and replacing with new top soil.
You will want a bigger tractor. That little thing will be in the shop more than you'll use it.
❤❤
Some sunflowers just face east and are not heliotropic. Don't ask me how I found out 😂
Black mailing you s.. for a tractor, that Bryan or Brian.? Lol!
I hope you go with a John Deere
Be careful, a groundhog can tear a dog up.
