Then problem still persists in TV with black folk and here we are in 2024. Eddie Murphy referenced when he started out there were next to no black folk doing hair and makeup. You'd think at ESPN -- where blacks are in high profile positions -- the darker skinned talent look bad on camera -- Shannon -- Perkins and anyone else of a dark brown hue. The talent needs to insist they get makeup artists who KNOW HOW to lay foundation, powder and all the rest for on-air -- and it's not just the KNOW HOW -- it's securing the right shades and mixtures!!
