Great tips in here, thanks Kathleen! As soon as Yosemite opens back up I'm going snow painting. Hope to see you up there again one day. Not sure if you remember me but I met you painting in Yosemite at cathedral beach a couple summers ago. 🙂❤️🎨
Thank you for all your wonderful tips. And I’m sorry you have to deal with some people who believe when they are anonymous they can be abusive and obnoxious. You are greatly appreciated. Please keep up these wonderful videos.
Thanks you! That was a very informative video. I am an experience painter, however just go turned on to Plein Air for the first time this spring. Cheers -Greg
@@kathleendunphyfineart7763 I guess you are right! Snow was different color then, and so were the trees. Mountains looked different too! I am a practicing artist of 40 years, but sometimes I wonder about some folks like you! No common sense! Truth hurts!
I love painting outdoors in winter! Good tips.

Thank you!
Has anyone ever tried a portable hunting blind and a little propane heater for winter painting? I’m a slow, Minnesota painter and not so spry.
Haven't heard of that but sounds like it would work. Give it a try!
Thanks, but didn't' they do this close to 200 years ago in France? I mean painting outside?
yep but they didn't paint the world as it is in 2021
