So happy you guys are feeling better. A couple things that helped me with my car insurance (Progressive) 1. I increased my deductibles by $250 2. when I called them they asked how much I drove. I did a quick calculation of how many miles I had driven the past year and since I drove less than they had me estimated at, it also dropped my insurance.

The interest rates really make it hard to buy a house. I am really hoping these high rates won’t last too long and will go back down soon, but so far they just keep going up 😫
Nice progress on the debt payoff this month!
Oooh we have a five below about $20 minutes from us and I have yet to go. We need to try it out! 😊
    Great Job!

I know it has been a hard month but you are doing great! September will be better! You can switch that credit card and get things rolling. Maybe make it a priority to save for your month ahead in your checking account now so you can really comm it to not using the card

Thank you! And yes that HAS to happen this month, no more crazy interest rates 💜

Wow. A $75 car boot. I guess the days of a $25 parking ticket are gone. Sheesh.
I know the totals would still add up the same but, maybe you can modify the 'Beauty and Bath' to Health and Beauty? That way you can include beard oil, vitamins, and covid tests together. Might be helpful when trying to categorize spending. Just a suggestion...not trying to tell you what to do with your budget! LOL
I got tired of trying to figure out where to put items so I just give myself $700 for all spending. Gas, groceries, health, etc. I do have an 'Ah shoot' category for stuff like the car boot. I could use 'Other' but I like this category because it matches the words I use when something unpleasant pops up. 😉
I'm putting it out in the atmosphere that September will be better. 💜

I just realized the volume is super low - I will try fixing it on the next video!

Are you planning on doing sinking funds in the future for future expenses?

    • @OrdinaryEverydays

Yes- I want to get caught up one month ahead and transition away from credit to making sure I can cover expenses with cash (or debit).
