S.O.D. opened this show. Motorhead was the middle band and Wendy O. Williams band W.O.W was the headliner. This was the first time I ever saw a mosh pit and I was shocked to say the least.
Same here. My brother took me to this show when I was 15. I remember Wendy sawing a body in half with a chainsaw and throwing the guts in the crowd and Lemmy cursing out the sound guy. Don't remember much else besides seeing Joey Ramone outside.

Let's see. The drummer and a guitarist and an ex-bassist and a roadie from Anthrax. They made the album in a weekend. Metal guys and band members of intense metal bands wear SOD shirts now. Let's see, which band possibly matters at all now?
@@afterforever71 Yea until the old singer fired Danny. Which was already the case here. Fun side note, if you look closely on the left, John Connolly (Nuclear Assault/Dan's future bandmate) worked security for them at this show.
Looks like John Connelly from Nuclear Assault at 13:17 ish telling the guy to get off the stage - but nicely. In fact that Gibson Flying V Scott is playing looks allot like John's. Thanks for posting this Hutch.
lol wtf is up with the bouncers at the ritz power bombing and manhandling the crowd... even in the Slayer live at the ritz and DRI live at the Ritz videos the bouncers where always beating the shit out of and power bombing the fans off the stage into the crowd. They where bogus as fuck lol and you can see at 4:58 the head singer told the bouncer lookin dude in the camo no more of that shit let them on the stage.
@@generalpolaris1778 war inside my head was written in 1984. The video that says it's 1982 is not 1982. You can tell because of the people on stage and Mike Muirs appearance. So yeah, for total accuracy, War Inside My Head was originally titled War Inside Myself and was written in 1984.
Mike Muir got credit from Jon Nelson, the guitarist before Rocky George, for War Inside My Head. This song was crafted in 1983-1984. Tape training really spread a band's music and fame and sprouted ideas around back then. SOD and Anthrax covered this song because they are fans of ST.
Everybody talks about Dave and Gene but fucking hell Charlie at 5:00!
That is fucking crushing double bass right there
Charlie is so fucking underrated, he fucking kills it back there!!!

Incredible show...S.OD. is a true Crossover Thrash legend 🤘🤘🤘
It's just...it's been so long since i saw Scott Ian with hair.
This was bigger then Anthrax at the time. They should've rode the wave on this! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘
I like SOD because their songs are as long as my attention span.
Did I say that, that is funny.
