Atm im using Etern with Grimshaw+dark squall Heydrogon, but Umbreon Vmax is a good choice. Also Im rly excited for the new Galarian Moltres, it is so good
My current list doesn't play a lot of basic darkness energies to make full use out of that baby Galarian Moltres. If your list plays 9 basic darkness energy it might be better.
it doesnt one shot vmaxs but can one shot every v. the best thing about the deck is how aggressive it is, being able to do 270 on turn 2. it is also very consistent because it runs 4 crobats, the only deck in standard that is able to do that.
To soften up the opponent's Pokemon when they attach energies. In combination with Galarian Zigzagoon and some Scoop Up Nets, Eternatus VMAX will be able to one shot VMAXs.
On testing around with a nearly pretty close list to yours, Decidueye is freelose all the time with 1 Phoebe. If they get 2 Decidueye, you autolose. Hoopa doesn't really help because it does not enough dmg. So there are literally 3 choices for this deck: 1) Cut the Phoebe, because you lose to Decidueye with 1 95% of the time anyway. 2) Add 1 more Phoebe / a Pal Pad. Maybe even 2 Phoebe and a Palpad but then your deck is way worse and unstable against other decks. This what makes this Deck not as good as others in my opinion. Decidueye is strong after Rotation, it will see alot of play because it's the most budget deck and it's Eternatus worst Matchup in the game. 3) Add Galarian Moltres from Evolving Skies. It 1 shots Decidueye when they've taken 3 prices and add an Fishing Rod to the deck to recover it. Moltres can easily go through 2Decidueye and charges up in 1 turn with 3 Energy in Hand or 2 and an Energy Switch. So you play it down, put 2 energies on it, E-Switch 1 more to it and kill Decidueye 1 hit. The other Decidueye dies to Phoebe later.
I don’t get the point of playing old cemetery in the deck if you attach energy your self your taking damage to your self so I don’t understand that at all why would you play that stadium in eternatus if your doing damage to your self with it
Easy answer. You use it so the opponent's Pokemon will have damage thanks to the effect of the Stadium as well. In combination with Galarian Zigzagoon and some Scoop Up Nets, Eternatus VMAX will be able to OHKO VMAX Pokemon. I know sometimes you also get damage, but you only play this after your energy attachment. Also you can bypass the damage of Old Cemetery with Galarian Moltres V's ability and Energy Switch.
Lapras Vmax will definitely see play now that pikarom and other electric pokemon rotate. Tapu Koko Vmax isn't good enough to see meta play and jolteon doesn't ohko

Might also be a strong engine as you shut down Inteleon engines completely with that. Gonna have to test it out :]

I think the best way till fusion arts releases is to play this with umbreon. your taking full advantage of it being a dark type
