Very nice video. I could relate to many of the things and comparisons you made about other cities and cultures aside from US. Being from an Hispanic culture and living in USA and also having spent months living in Italy and other places in the world also make me think they way you do in many ways. I like how you are able to express all these differences in perspectives as you spend time in different places and how it changes as you get more settled into it. This is something that we are mindful of because of the traveling. Other people are not mindful of these subtle mind changes.

The more one travels and see other places and really feel their energy, the more our mind expands to broader levels. Is like going to university or reading books. Once you have those experiences you carry them with you. And when you then go to other places you can make that your own internal reality even if is very different from the immediate surrounding and culture. This happens in both more collective cultures or more individualistic cultures. At least I become very creative with myself when I tap into who I am which is a combination of all those experiences. By traveling one can see the different varieties of human expression and one acquires those that you connect with and they become part of our own humanity. Just as real as the expressions in that culture or community but super foreign to other communities that have different expressions. Is definitely a mind trip. I think the hardest part is to be one self in any culture that has certain expectations. I tell myself like I don’t quite belong anywhere. I don’t belong in my hometown bc of my travels and cultural expansions but I also don’t belong in my new towns. 🤷🏻♀️
i resonate a lot with your thoughts on the us. not feeling "culturally envigorated" is quite relatable. I've lived in latam for 5 years now, 3 of those in Mexico, and it's just different. hard in its own right, but also the thought of going back to the u.s. feels harder. thanks for sharing your insights, both through word and image. buena onda!
