    The best tutorial on TH-cam. Thankyou Adrian. It's helped me a lot. Could you do a tutorial to show the chords for Fehu and Helvegen, and maybe a tutorial on the main chords wardruna use please. Much love brother. Keep up the good work

      Thank you very much!! really appreciate your words. Yes!! I'm a little bit busy last weeks but I will upload the Helvegen one!! I never played fehu, but when I learn it , be sure that it will be a tutorial as well!

    Fehu and Helvegen is the easy ones on the Kravik lyre(or any 7 string lyre with ACDEFGA tuning) in my opinion when its just to strum the strings like a guitar instead of plucking them. And then there is Voluspa and Raido which there 2-3 melodies plucking played repeatedly through the songs

      Yes I agree!!! But I find Helvegen pattern a little bit confuse... I have never been able to understand the pattern that begins after the first chorus...

    Thank you very much for this tutorial Adrian ! I'm gonna learn Kravik Lyra and was looking for a good tutorial video. I think I found it... Einar Selvik is one of my favorite singers. Snake pit poetry is gonna be the first song I'm gonna learn, thanks to you ;)

    Could I play this on a lyre with more than 7 strings?

      Of course!! If you have at least 7 strings , with the proper tuning, you can play exactly what it sounds. If you have even more, you could do some arrange to add more notes if you like

      Thanks!! Well , in my personal lyre its fluorocarbone. You can easily find the set in the web Etsy,! But you can use the tradicional nylon strings that a spanish guitar would use. And the sound its really nice!

      Thank you very much!! It was made by me :) if your lyre has 7 strings A C D E F G A you can play the song with no problem :)

      @@adrikr it’s a Topnaca 16 string with a stag head for the sound hole :) I would love a traditional lyre though.

    Hey im brand new to music, i just bought my lyre! I want to learn this tune but i dont seem to be able to tune my lyre right, it doesnt sound anything like yours or the song

      @@thomaswatson-sy5qj an app for sure will be better than doing it by ear if you are a beginner!! So go with it. I recommend to buy a chromatic tuner, chromatic tuner it's for all the instruments, it shouldn't cost more than 15$ if you can it will be a good purchase. Try with the app and if you have any doubt don't hesitate in asking me!

      @@Fortune100-u4h my strings are made of fluorocarbon. You can easily find them in Etsy. Other option is to put common nylon strings. It will work very well
