- Hello everyone, I'm very glad to finally have this video out to you all after thinking about it for so long, I'm more than pleased with the result. In this video we try to complete the main story mode of LittleBigPlanet while trying to avoid as many of the bubbles as we can, as well as trying to achieve the lowest score and unlocking the smallest number of collectables as possible.
Thank you to anybody who helped out with this along the way, including @adsffff and @genrist (Genrist) who found a lot of improvements. I'm sure there are still many improvements to be found and I'd be happy to hear your ideas, but during the process of making this, I've already found that the row skulls can be avoided in The Wedding Reception by swinging across the roof, as well as being able to avoid the last bubble in The Darkness, but it was a bit too late to include here when I discovered these.
I'm not sure if I'll create an improvements video or do the minigames like the other challenges, maybe if it's interesting enough, but I wouldn't mind trying to do something a little different for the next video.

I noticed that the total at the end actually shows one extra score bubble than what was actually collected throughout the video. Sorry! Also I didn't mean to have a missing frame in Elephant Temple or to have the score bubble not highlighted when boosting off of the snake for the second time in Serpent Shrine.
And, why do you do this challenge videos in only LBP1 or 2 but not LBP3?

I really like the way you have Sackboy use his expressions throughout the playthrough. It adds a lot of charm to an already highly enjoyable video.
You don't see a lot of people making LBP content, especially challenges, so I really appreciate you putting in the effort the make this video!! I can tell already it's gonna be good!!
There are so many bubbles in the game that it almost feel like game wants players to collect them all

I've been a fan of this game ever since it came out and honestly hearing about the ps3 servers shutting down broke my heart. legitimately, I am so happy to still see people like you bust out content for this game and your video was honestly super fun to watch, I hope to see more creations from you! There are private servers available now and it can be played via emulation on PC. It's only a matter of time until we get a 60FPS patch for it, I highly recommend going back to it via emulation (and the level community is decently active for LBP2, though it mainly consists of re-uploads)

Remember the LBP3 challenge in the Ziggurat where to get to the end while avoiding every score bubble that would make the bears angry for touching one? Almost the same thing here.
Holy shit! I’ve been asking this for years and wanting to try this on my own for a while. And my questions finally got answered. AND in very good hands. I loved the no grabbing challenge.
Holy cow this is incredible. These tricks are way more complicated than any other avoidance challenge in games like Mario and stuff. It just doesn’t look as complicated if you have never played little big planet before. I’m an LBP veteran and even I think this is impressive.
One thing I would like to see is what is the maximum number of points possible you can get from bubbles, multipliers, and anything that gets you points
Edit: This also means you have to ace every level
this video is fascinating but i'm completely enamored by when sackboy's expression changes when things start getting crazy. 11:32 especially is so funny to me

Great video man, must've taken days to edit. My suggestion is trying to do the no grab or no bubble challenge on different LBP games. I'd like LBP2, and it makes the most sense considering LBP2 has most of the same movement mechanics that LBP1 has.

I also had the idea of beating lbp with as few bubbles as possible, but only routed the gardens and swinging safari (while sadly still collecting a few) in 2021 and then just kinda forgot about it, so i'm glad to see that someone actually routed and beat the whole game! Awesome video!

There's something about avoiding the collectable that's the most jarring challenge type for me. Everytime you avoided or skipped past a prize bubble, the LBP fanatic within me died a little. Great vid, 10/10

If you're in LBP3, you can use the "Highlight" feature with the LBP1 levels in Create Mode (thanks to Genrist), so idk if that would make counting every score bubble easier for you....
that'd involve getting the lbp1 levels in lbp3

The first game is by far my favourite, I like the second one a lot as well though, and I've never really touched the third game.

I think I know what you should do next. Try and do these changes again in all the DLC and community levels that come with the goty edition of the game. I have that version and I love lbp alot. Or perhaps as a joke, look into speedrunning lbpk.

38:22 you can grab the cover of the brains as the machine rises up flinging you upwards (it works best if you grab it at the top most) altho i havent been successful on doing so and i got on top of where the collector is and then trying to use the machine to fling up as it rises
edit: i dont know if you tried that already or not i assumed you didnt
We do know about this, in fact we use it in runs to get through the phase faster, but in this case it isn't useful for avoiding any bubbles, since the wall is still probably too tall to get over after getting flung anyway, the second phase wouldn't even start.
