- Ghosts Of Tabor wiped a couple days ago and brought a lot of great changes and additions that the game needed. But with new stuff comes new bugs that players and myself have been experiencing. So in this video I tell you all of the good things that the wipe brought and all of the bad.

Scott announced on Discord that a hot fix will be released on Wednesday to address backpack issues, quest 2 spawns and other various fixes!

Post-Wipe issues on Quest 2 for me: Still falling through map on Silo, spawning into walls on Silo, backpacks fly away/spin and/or disappear, altogether. Press checks and chamber checks STILL do not work. You can enter raid and check your chamber and it's empty, then you rack it and a round still falls out, so you're on your hands and knees trying to re-load your mag at the start of a raid, which can get you killed. Freezing/crashing mid-raid on island, Exfil literally not being where it said it was on Island, water bottle is sometimes bugged, so I've died and lost tons of gear, because hydration didn't register. In addition, Water does not always replenish even when you return to bunker after raid, like it's bugged, so I'm constantly low on water and have to run to Exfil. I think they increased food/water depletion, but sometimes it's constant and other times it's no issue. Random audio sound effects happen in raid and in bunker, like a grenade pin being pulled, a suppressor being attached and the G3 being chambered. Overall, loot seems to be garbo post-wipe, as opposed to pre-wipe. I find almost no suppressors and they are stingy with quality optics, gun powder, etc. It's all little food items, rails, junk metal, etc. NVG's do not fit in backpacks, anymore, GPU's are only worth like half of the price that they were pre-wipe. They used to sell for like 65,000 Koruna, now they only sell for around 32,000 Koruna (Not a bug, but something new I noticed). I've frozen/crashed upon exfil on Island and then when I reboot the game all my gear is there. 2nd gun room walls in Bunker are scuffed (Patch is supposed to fix this next week). Conveyor belt/computer inventory is deleting gear that you try to save.....In a similar fashion, players are reporting that they are purchasing the Founding Fathers DLC only to have that said DLC content just straight up disappear from the computer inventory. Plate carriers/body armor/helmets, etc. still disappearing from mannequins and lockers. Magnified optics are still causing massive frame spikes and lag on Quest 2 (EOTech+G33 and ACOG). Tier-5 armor (Boss and Goons armor with shoulder pads) just disappears or falls off of your body mid-raid and floats/freezes in the air and you can't grab it, or it just disappears. Guns still just randomly disappear in raid or in bunker. Players are reporting (with proof) that they are meeting or exceeding Trader level requirements, but their Trader levels are not going up. Sometimes you can loot a new, unused weapon and rack it but the mag is empty or you are mid-raid with your main weapon and full mags (checked before raid start) and the mags will just be empty. Like ammo just straight up disappears and gets you killed.

The bugs this patch are definitely rough, but the performance and graphics on quest is a massive improvement. Excited for what they do next.
I put more faith in this small dev team than I do in most AAA game companies. I personally will wait a little longer to iron out the bigger bugs before i jump back on, I am glad I got the limited time dlc package from them to support them

The devs are onto something different and sorely needed. I didn't think a standalone game like this was possible on the Q2.
That blue backpack spawns inside elevator room in silo. It's not supposed to be in game, you can equip two backpacks if one is the blue bag. The blue bag will dump your loot on the floor when returning to the bunker, sometimes you lose items too. Larger bag has a bug with the weapon slot, if you extract with a weapon in it say goodbye to that weapon. Manicans with chest rigs on them will make your rigs disappear when entering another room or loading in and out of raids.
I've had SO many issues & bugs involving/relating to hand shit, meaning like picking up & dropping shit, including the backpack shit you mentioned man, FFUUUUUCCKKK it's mad frustrating as hell
Dude the new patch for oculus is insane I thought the lag wasent to bad in the last version but now it pretty much never lags
That's odd, for some reason my BF's Oculus has a few lags still in the game. Not sure if it's just when you spawn in, but also seem to have tracking issues where you grab an item and then your arm get stuck and stretches out.
The watch is so much better now! I also love the smooth hand movements. Game just keeps gettin better 🔥
This patch is definitely a mixed bag. I've actually experienced MORE crashes, and MORE weird issues than before. The weirdest one of all? Get this. My player became fully disconnected from it's model. The rig, the backpack, my pistol holster, EVEN my hand models, were all floating in the air and I could still walk around them and interact with them. I could still hold my pistol and shoot, but my right hand was completely disabled. I could ONLY pick up a pistol and that was it... the rest of my body just stayed there floating and I had to move on. Interestingly, SCAVs could still still me and I was promptly killed.

the focus on quest 2 is definitely obvious, runs SO much better on quest now

@Loaf Lord would prefer more people on island personally, I get lucky to see anyone in a few raids there
I'm not sure if you experienced it, but one thing my BF has encountered has to do with the Large backpack and once you put an item in it, it seems to lock the item inside. Reaching in the bag only allows you to remove the top of a can of food but not the can itself.

I've noticed my backpack despawning when taking it off and moving up hill, it's not often, only happened twice. But it's enough to piss you off lol.

Sup to avoid the squatting I just enabled seated mode in the calibration then you can crouch with the left thumb stick :)
Performance is way better on the Silo map on quest 2. I’m sure when quest 3 launches we’ll see better performance on island

I play on both platforms and I’ve had way more issues with the patch than I did before especially on Oculus

On silo I spawned on the other side of the wall and could see the whole map I was lucky enough to find a hole back into the map
3:56 it does not work like tarkov, you still can buy items and sell em too the traders for cheesy xp, theres 3 ways too do it, for those that dont want too know and like playing the game normaly i will add spaces so you cant see it for those that do click read more and enjoy
1.) the easyest way, buy your items load them into a backpack spawn in race to exfill now its found in raid now you can sell em
2.) this one is harder but you can drop items into the floor triggering the game to spawn a new one that is by default found in raid you do this by going to the trade room grabing what ever item you want to dupe and drop it on the shelf by the bulk head door on the bottom shelf close to the back right pole and it will fall through the floor. one is added too the purchase list and one will respawn above the shelf in the air when you leave the room and open a new door and return too the trade room.
3.) lastly the riskest way, take any item through it into your drawer and slam it shut and open it again quick. its risky because you need to fully close it too spawn a new one but if it bounces out of the line on the drawer it will dellete the item but if it does and you do it fast enough two pops out one isnt found in raid one is. reason it works is because the game spawns a new item first then delletes the old one thats how it saves it in the drawer that way when its close it doesnt exist but when you open it it spawns in. but if you open it faster then in can despawn the first you duped the item.
but yes you 100% can still cheese the trader missions and yes i reported these bugs too the devs and no i dont abuse them i do find it importent for people to be aware that it is a thing and how to do it so you know how to avoid doing it if your trying to avoid it.
The sell glitch happened to me when I was trying to sell my golden AK and I never got it back
Also another bug is when i killed the boss to trade the armor for the armor mission it wouldn't let me do it and trade it in it sucks cause its a nice chunk of xp for 3 of the missions

even tho its buggy as all hell i still enjoy Tabor even with its annoying bugs (which has yet to be fixed) and small hick ups its still a fun experience with even people working together to get vaults (silo and island). some bugs do annoy me but its a small price to pay (or big one depending on what's in the backpack) for a lot of laughs and fun with the boys. also liking you videos man keep it up ^w^

Yeah it’s giving me Tarkov PTSD haha. That game had so many problems (still does) but that game is also one of my favorite FPS of all time. And same is going for GOT.

If you have to bug were taking mags off the wall getting stuck in your vest pouches . Take the mag off the wall put them down then put them in your vest works for me.
Idk what people are talking about the update for tabor on quest was a minimal improvement. Island still glitchy and falling through the map on silo. I know they are working hard and I take my hat off. I don't see it running good on standalone for a few months.

6:58 is my exact same loop, play the game, get excited, kill people, extract aaaaaand zero loot in my bag. F it, I’m playing something else.
The update fixed more than it broke, but the backpacks def need to stop flying around lol
I really think they should rely on mechanics which are established in VR. So for example gravity gloves or putting things to your inventory by moving a hand behind your back. That makes VR enjoyable. I played hundreds of hours in Skyrim VR using these techniques and I can absolutely tell thats the way to go.

To fix the backpack glitch just grab it with your other hand WHILE it’s glitching

as a quest 2 player, the game feels like 55 fps or smoother, however there still are some jitters, but not alot
Don't know if it's just me, but there is a bug that actually allows me to put my gun on the back wall. It has something to do with holding the mag in 1 hand and the gun in the other. It puts the gun where I'm holding my mag
I got it the same day of the update so I can’t say if it’s better on quest 2 then before
I accidentally brought a bag into a raid that i forgot to empty… then as soon as i got into the match my bag turned into a damn TiltaWhirl haha da faaa
I was crashing constantly on the quest 2 after wipe through PCVR, but I found that if you launch the game through steam directly instead of launching it through the oculus app on your PC or through the oculus app itself the crashes go away, at least for me.

The Island is unplayable on quest 2… and you can search for your friends, just says “loading info”
Praying for a quick fix on all this...I love the game but it's feeling a little pointless with disappearing loot

Yeah me thinks I may wait for another update. There's definitely rage worthy bugs in game now. Like losing your raid haul on the conveyor belt. I can see my wife coming in the room now asking what I'm doing in GOT I will be trying to rip the conveyor belt off the ground IRL I'll probably be trying to flip my bed 🤣🤣🤣
Losing loot can be frustrating for sure, but honestly, I've learned to live and let go. Don't let yourself get too attached to anything, and soon you'll start seeing the bugs as kind of hilarious instead of frustrating. I'm enjoying my time with Tabor regardless

I always leave a spoon and a can of fruit cocktail or tangerines in my bag. They replenish both food and water levels. It's a delicious and nutritious treat for whatever poor soul just killed me, you jerk!

I was 4 seconds from extract when my game crashed
Graphics are better. But performance is still lacking. Ive had my backpack just straight up dissappear while it was full of good loot a few times now. Most of the time the gun wall doesnt work. Go to place something and it appears on the wall but then falls to the floor. A few crashes myself too.
Yeah no im done with this game for a while myself. Crashed again with a bunch of loot again. This seriously ruins it. Even if the devs fix that issue 10 more will crop up. This is why i dont like devs releasing an unfinished game. They hold off on updates and for what? Shoulda just finished the game before fully releasing it. Its a waste of time to spend 30 fucking minutes in raid just to lose it not to an actual game mechanic. Fall damage, killed by a player or fenix. But to lose all the shit i had to the game being bad. Two full fucking back packs an m16 and a hunter 85. And all i brought in was a mac 10 and a backpack. Lost that mac 10 too because i wanted to bring it back with me.

For me this latest patch made stuff so much better guns work for inside out tracking now sometimes some bugs but not as bad and love the watch the screen don't blind me in silo lol 🤣 now need britnes level on the compass so I don't get blinded by the god rays 😂

Yea I’m so happy, happened that the patch was after the first day I tried the game. Shits a blast but now it’s a bearable blast.

Honestly it was a bit big but it had such charm to it lol I really liked swiping to see my missions and stuff. But the watch is simple and effective which I really like too.
U can where 2 backpack if u put it on at the same time Same with guns 😂
Calibrate your height as seated even if playing standing. It will give you a crouch button to press. Pro tip from a lazy gamer 😅
the only problem with this is that if you naturally weave from a bullet or try leaning or crouching slightly, theres a chance of this putting you in the calibrate screen mid gunfight.

Serious question, cuz I'm terrible. Will breachers help with vr fps gunplay. I'm grinding and getting ground on tabor because I never focused on a vr shooter like this before. 🤣🤣🤣
I think it will help with your situational awareness for sure. It might not help with recoil as much because gunplay is pretty different. But I think you will be able to get a bit comfortable with FPS in general from playing any vr fps. But breachers gameplay is more arcadey than GOT.

OK, the game can be fun and it's going somewhere, with that said I'm not having fun when I loose all my progress for the third time because my bag dicide to desapear. I understand there's struggle in this games but this is just to bugy to be playable right now. I can't take it seriously

The backpacks worked fine pre wipe and all the sudden its the worst part of the game

This game is a fkn mess with bugs, can't even reload, spinning backpack, loot clipping and going missing, refreshing drink not replenishing thirst, and much more.

Man this patch is absolutely terrible for quest users. Constant issues and even more bugs present than last patch.
While the game does run better, it’s *very very* minor improvements. The glitches 100% take me out of the experience and I’m sorry but I’m not purchasing DLC with my real money, when those said items just fall off the gun board in the safe house, glitch out in raid or my pack doing fucken flips in my hand when I try to look at it.

Like nah we still paid money for a product and needs to work. There’s nothing wrong with being constructive about the feedback on bugs, but not to simp so hard and ignore the issues.
Game is heaps better on quest 2, but still has some stuttering on the island
I cant even play anymore due to easy anti cheat. I started everything with admin but it just doesnt start 😢
