Here’s my experience with the trilogy when I got into the series that no one asked for. I was getting bored with gaming around late 2022, practically December. I needed a Nintendo Switch RPG to play, and I came across Xenoblade somehow. Either it was clips of the game or something. I also saw 2022’s Game Awards (my condolences to Xeno fans) so it had its credibility for being a nominee candidate, and I knew popular gamer TH-camrs like Alpharad loved the trilogy, so I thought, “Why not?” I bought Xenoblade 2 and the rest was history. I spent the next month or 2 playing the game, dealing with its faults of its English voice acting and other quirks, but given time, I was loving this game. A lot of times, I judge something based on its story/narrative on whether I think it’s good, gameplay, graphics, artstyle, characters regardless of media I judge later. And this story was just so compelling. I had quit watching anime for a while and it was the only series based media I watch, and I could sort of see that Xeno 2 had some form of anime-ish traits, which was kind of what was intended. Part of me was glad I played 2 first than 1. Anyway, the story was what kept me. The characters were amazing don’t get me wrong, but things like end Chapter 3, end Chapter 6, Chapter 7 etc was what made me want to keep coming back the next day to continue. And I was blown away with the world building Xeno 2 had to offer. For the longest time, I thought Fire Emblem Three Houses had one of the best world building lore with both cast and the setting and how both intertwine. But this game was just as amazing. Then I start seeing clips of Future Redeemed, a grown up Rex with a daughter, teaming up with Mr. “I’m really feeing it” himself. Hell I only just finished the Torna DLC, I hadn’t got to playing the first game yet! Sidenote, I love Torna The Golden Country for being the first story in a really long time that could make me cry. I then got to Xeno 1 and realised how awesome the game was for me and how the cast was just as loveable. But I have to admit, 2 wins when it comes to a more compelling story. While 1 can be seen as somewhat more mature (for lack of a better word), just as the late Etika said, Xeno 1 never made me cry. It’s just as compelling especially when you get to the lore dump of Zanza and the Monado, but I never felt like I could ever cry playing 1. But still a great game overall. And then comes Xeno 3. Architect I was excited as hell as I was anticipating the fusion between New Bionis and Alrest until that first cutscene. And wow, I can see why Xeno 3 had Game of the Year material. It was quite special despite its formidable competition of Elden Ring and God of War. That game was something else man. I thought the Torna DLC made me cry and that 2’s main story was compelling, but boy had I not seen anything yet. I love 3 for being both worlds combined, but somehow not fanservice. It’s one of those sequels that it’s like, if you know that thing from the previous games, it feels awesome, if you don’t, you’re not missing out on anything critically important for understanding the story. While it’s highly recommended to play the first two, you could play 3 first and you could still have a great time. Just as I had played 2 first and never really understood the Klaus lore, but I wasn’t heavily missing out on it. And i’m so glad I played basically every Xenoblade main story blind (with a few exceptions like Zanza being the true evil and Pneuma being the true Aegis), because events like XC2 chapter 6, XC1 Shulk’s death(?), XC3 Chapter 5 and 6, were amazing experiences to play blind. Even I didn’t play Three Houses blind as I saw playthrus first and that’s the magic of the Xenoblade trilogy to me. I overall love this trilogy. It is just something special to me over the past year and a half. To find a kind of underrated series of Nintendo affiliated JRPGs and understand why there are fans that hype it up. The Xenoblade Chronicles trilogy, will have a special place in my heart as a series i’ll never forget playing that first time
started with XBC3, now I bought the other two at a discount. Started future redeemed when it came out, but then I figured I really needed/wanted to play the other games first. Even need to complete the final boss of 3 as I got distracted wanting to max out every class first. Will hold off until I finish everything else now :p
to me Xenoblade Chronicles story is a lovechild between Digital Devil Saga's narration and mindblowing twists and maybe also the philosophical side, and the Trails series characters. It also follows classic MMORPG progression/quests. It doesn't do it as well in each respective point, but it manages to mix it in so well in the game.
It is hard to me to say which one I prefer, but I played Xenoblade 1 first and I think Xenoblade 2 does a lot of things better, even made me more excited with the story than Xenoblade 1 did
Hating on the original artstyle smh That's the whole thing that originally drew me in to playing the game. The colors are generally muted but beautiful with pops of color to make specific things stand out and the artstyle is grounded and soft.
Great video! I too sometimes have a hard time justifying or explaining my opinions, and I like how you weren't afraid to highlight that- sometimes things just "click" and theres no better explanation lol Also LOVED the little animatics in there, they added a fun personal flair to the video! Keep up the good work!
It’s funny you say. You like 3’s cast the most, a lot of people have said while they like the characters they are their least favorite of party members. Also a lot of the love for 1 and 3’s casts come from the heart to hearts, not just how they act in the main story, like how much of a father figure Rikki is for Shulk and the others, and how Sharla acts like a supportive cool aunt to Melia when she isn’t worried about the mechon or reyn
It's because of a diff in word definitions. When ppl say they hate 3's characters, they mean it individually. The most interesting single main party member is Mio due to her connection with Nia, and then usually it goes Eunie and Lanz/Taion. But when ppl say they like 3's characters, they mean it in a character dynamics sense, how each party member interacts with another. The funny thing is, and I just discovered this recently thanks to Totally Spies returning, is that 1, 2, and 3 interactions don't differ that much at all, granted they were written by the same ppl. It's only that 2 has animated gags from a bygone era of anime most 20 yr olds outside Japan have never experienced, and that's what they mainly dislike in 2 along with Pyra and Mythra's clothes, which Japan has no problems with. For instance, when Taion refused Lanz's high five, in 2 that would be accompanied by either a steam cloud emote 💨 or a mad emote, 💢 , to show anger.
@@OxygenC2 it’s not a bygone era of anime, that’s just most light hearted anime in general, which is what 2 is going for, and even then those type of emotes and reactions are only in the first 3 chapters of Xenoblade 2, most of the reactions are toned down by the time they get to mor ardain (excluding heart to hearts)
Xenoblade is my favorite piece of fiction of all time, across all mediums, and Xenoblade 3 is my favorite game and story of all time. This franchise is so special and contributed so much to the person I am today. I listen to Xenoblade music every day, I fall asleep to Xenoblade music. I have at least 500h in each game and want to replay them all again! I still get chills and cry at every impactful moment in these games. I'm crying just thinking about the XC3 ending...
My first experience in Xenoblade Chronicles is 3. Right now I'm on chapter 4 and all I can say is what am I playing? This is a movie experience game. Masterpiece!
For me personally, I'd have to say the entirety of the last two chapters of XC2, easily far and away the most gripping and life-changing few hours I ever spent playing a video game. I know others would mention maybe Egil in XC1 or Chapter 5 in XC3 (which comes in close second for me tbh)
i love the entire franchise, 1 i played multiple times, X was the whole reason i bought a Wii-U before Smash 4, 2 i was hesitant on because it's tone felt alot more "Tales Of" at the beginning but by the end it strengthened my love for the whole series even more and made me a ride-or-die xeno fan, and 3 was probably the best RPG of 2022 that wasn't Eldin Ring. and that's not even getting itno the nitty gritty liek how xenoblade 1 made me love side quests and
I love how Time is always an important theme in the Xenoblade Trilogy. Xenoblade 1 is about changing the futuee Xenoblade 2 is about moving on from the past Xenoblade 3 is about making the most of the present
Great video! I gush about this series to anyone who will listen everytime I get and replay Xenoblade 2, 3 and their DLCs every year now. Eagerly awaiting Monolith Soft's next Xeno series along with the inevitable Xenoblade X Switch 2 port and possible Xenoblade X-2 announcement!
Xenoblade Chronicles is a piece of Xenogears as a whole. 1 is the Gears story of mechanical and biological war from god and creator. 2 is the notion of human chimeras and experimental gears like Esmeralda, from Blade and Flesh eater to titans. 3 is Fei and Ellie's endless resurrection story even made DLC a nod to Fei being a melee lead with Ouroboros mecha interlinking like Weltall thru Fei and Ellie. X is about the Gears and immigration to an unknown planet.
I don’t know where I would find a better story. Like, anywhere. I literally feel like the wojak in the corner “nobody knows I know peak fiction”. These games genuinely changed my life the most out of any piece of media I have experienced. I have been chasing the high ever since but nothing else has come close. Nier automata came close and I feel like Deltarune might when it’s done but XBC is just one in a million afaik. I do want to recommend Outer Wilds though. It’s different but I got that same feeling I got from playing the XBC games from Outer Wilds as well. Definitely give that one a shot if you haven’t already. And don’t spoil yourself.
If old graphics don’t offend you, and story is most important, Xenogears is a more story intensive RPG than the Xenoblade games, and you’ll see the original version of the story. Xenoblade Chronicles was developed as a prototype, so the story wasn’t given much attention, Xenoblade is kind of a stripped down version of a piece of Xenogears (Shulk is Fei’s story, Fiora is a cross between Alice and parts of Elly’s story, Dickson and Dunban are both different parts of Citan etc…) refitted into the Xenoblade setting. While it’s not available on Switch (yet), you can get it on PlayStation consoles (it’s a PSX game). It was the first Xeno-game created by the (what would now be considered an allstar) team of Tetsuya Takahashi, Soraya Saga, Mitsuda, Yasuyuke Honne, Masato Kato, and Kunihiko Tanaka - all of whom were foundational members of Monolithsoft (well, Mitsuda and Kato via contract, and Kato really only did Baten Kaitos). These people mainly came out of the Final Fantasy 6 and Chrono Trigger dev teams. But, if you like the story, like characters, IMO, Xenogears is Tetsuya Takahashi’s (and the core Monolithsoft team’s) masterpiece.
And thus, boy met X... All jokes aside though, this was an awesome vid. I don t usually comment on videos, but I feel like I have to give this one justice since, for some reason, the comment section seems awfully negative about the video. This is sadly a commun theme w this community... it can be extremelly toxic😢. This situation kinda reminds me of the situation w "Sexuality in Xenoblade Chronicles 2: A case to study" where the community got mad because the creator was just giving his opinions on the game, while showing he trully loved it. Honestly, I'm almost certain that those who have commented negatively about this vid did so without even watching the video, and that s a shame...
I love xenoblade 2 and Rex is really and interesting protagonist he is nearly always upbeat and it sort of makes one almost not notice your playing in a very dark and doomed world just because of his attitude
20 minutes is nowhere near enough time to do this series justice, but great job nonetheless. Both 2 and 3 hold a special place in my heart - for different reasons - but both are easily Peak Fiction.
I will never get how XC3 didn't get an award for it's music. I love Soundtracks and collect a lot of this stuff. XC3 (Xenoblade in general) has one of the greatest OSTs I have ever heard. GoWR was good and all, and I am a fan of Bear, but come on- it doesn't hold a candle compared to the masterful and varied music of XC3 (or 1 and 2).
I think everyone will have a different opinion. GoW Ragnarok had one of the most amazing soundtracks I have ever heard in my life. I still listen to it regularly to this day
Never localized in america, in Europe it got released without any campaign. Which is I bet part of the reason why it probably got localized in burger, half the work was almost done
I really really wanted to love Xenoblade 3. I can honestly say the first one changed me on a fundamental level. Crazy to say a video game could do that, but I had never been so connected to characters in a game or so invested in a story. That is until Xenoblade 2. It and Chrono Trigger share the number one spot for me. I cried literal tears over the ending of 2. For both those games I felt privileged to take a part in such a work of art. After spending hundreds of hours playing those two games, I was excited to jump back into Xenoblade when I saw that 3 was releasing. I don’t know what it is, but I just couldn’t get into XC3. I really tried and even made it about halfway through the game. Playing it just felt like a chore to me. I finally gave up and just watched the cutscenes. I just couldn’t connect to the characters or the story…like at all. I wish I knew why. It may be because I’m older now and the “childlike” themes don’t do much for me anymore, or it may be that the quality of life stuff in the game was overwhelming. Maybe it was just the plot concept that didn’t appeal to me. Either way, I wish I could enjoy it like so many others have, because I can tell a ton of care was put into the production of it. It should play out like a magnum opus of the series, but for me it just fell flat. 😔
i like the video but i feel like some key features were left out regarding the narrative as to why the series is considered peak fiction: the Heart to Hearts/camp dialogue which helps flesh out the party even more the sidequests, which are still compelling even if what you do in them isn't the DLC/bonus campaigns, especially future redeemed Xenoblade 1's nigh perfect story to gameplay intigration and how visions are more than just cutscenes to move the plot along
@@fikaieldjou what are you talking about? It’s the perfect culmination of everything in the series up to this post by and a great cap off for the “klaus saga”. Not to mention most of the characters are well written and likable

@@fikaieldjou I care ALOT about this franchise, I’ve been a fan ever since Xenoblade X, the only things “retconned” into 1’s story was giving alvis a core crystal and changing/expanding on klaus’s reason for the experiment. Not to mention all three games were thought up, written, and directed by the same guy. It may have not been the initial plan for he had in store for the series but it’s still how he decided to spin things. That’s like saying everything after KH1 or DrakenGard 1 is just fanfiction. I’m sorry if the overarching narrative isn’t something you jive with but this is how they decided to continue the story of 1

And beyond that I have bought and played the original Xenogears, Literally the only thing of the franchise I haven’t gotten to is Xenosaga
Peak Fiction = Xenogears Xenogears Xenogears Xenogears …. Xenogears!!! That game was the most well written story I ever played in any game. That game was made by the team which helped develop Chrono Trigger. Initially intended to be the next final fantasy game, it was then changed to its own game because of the content it contained (Ex: Mental illness, Cannibalism, Killing God, etc). SquareSoft cut the funding of the game in order to prioritize the game which is to be called Final Fantasy 7 feeling it was less controversial and would reach a wider audience. As a result of this cut, the second disc contains text which feels like it goes on forever. This is used to tell events of the story which was cut as a result of funding. This game truly needs with the cut content added in as actual gameplay. Unfortunately, those developers, now known as Monolithsoft, have been trying to obtain the rights to Xenogears back from SquareSoft. SquareSoft refuses to relinquish the rights to the game due to it being one of their most successful projects in history. This is the best story I’ve ever played in any rpg. The world it builds and the people in it feel alive. WE NEED THIS GAME BACK.
Xenoblade 3 is my favorite but I recognize that it has just one big flaw. The antagonists just aren't that interesting. While the Consuls are conceptually and in-universe perfectly serviceable they just can't stack up to the godlike antagonists that XBC2 had. If I had to create my perfect Xenoblade game I would take the gameplay and character interactions from 3 and the antagonists and emotional highs/lows from 2 and put them all into one game. Seriously, can you imagine XBC3 but with antagonists of the level of XBC2? That right there would be true peak fiction. That said, Future Redeemed kinda gave me a glimpse of that. In that DLC the antagonists were still the consuls and also you-know-who but it felt a lot more grey and satisfying to see it all unfold. We don't spend the entire DLC beating up most of the alphabet but rather deal with the relationships between the characters and worlds and how everyone just wants to find some sort of solution. Future Redeemed also "redeemed" a certain letter after M to me. While that character was already by far the best antagonist in the base game Future Redeemed gave us the very necessary extra time and glimpse behind the curtain to truly come to understand them - not just on paper, but on an emotional level as well.
I won't read the whole comment just because I am afraid of Spoilers, but... If it is like this... It is one of the best things in Xenoblade 2, what a shame the villains aren't that great. After Xenoblade 2, even Xenoblade 1 antagonists feel incomplete, but at least Zanza got so much thing about him in Xenoblade 2, and Egil feels almost as a Xenoblade 2 villain
@@pedrobeckup456 Don't worry. Without spoiling things, there is a villain that far outclasses Egil imo, and stands up to Xenoblade 2's cast of villains. I'd even go as far as to say they can give Jin a run for his money. Though I do still think Jin is the best antagonist. If you're the type of person that can appreciate the thematic meaning of the antagonists (Amalthus, for example), I doubt you'll have too much of an issue with the wider cast of villains. Since I disagree with OP, just take it as a contentious topic. It certainly is within the wider reception of XC3. Whatever conclusion you come to after beating the game, I hope you enjoy it! XC3 is the most well rounded Xenoblade experience, coming from a die-hard XC2 fan.

I was right with you until you said your favorite character is Juniper. It would have been nice if the localizers didn't stuck with the writers original intent instead of making HER an unnecessarily uncomfortable 'they/them' individual, pushing politics into yet another game where it wasn't intended.
“Politics” I’m sure you’re trying to ragebait, but how is a non-binary character in any way related to politics of all things? That’s right; it isn’t. Unless you’re being trans/enbyphobic. And if you are, just stop. Ignoring the above, if you truly do think this way, Michael Jordan has some very important words you need to hear. “Stop it. Get some help.”
Also the idea that xenoblade isn't already political is laughable, honestly. XC1, XC2, and XC3 all have some pretty political themes, especially 3 which is quite literally about the exploitation of the common people by a group of powerful people who have essentially lost all humanity, using perpetual war and drudgery to distract from the realities of their lives. Hell, 1/2/3 are the more subtle ones. X and Gears are far more explicit in their political commentary.
A. Juniper literally has a different gender number (2) in the code. It would be inaccurate and disrespectful to NOT localize them as an enby. Would you rather the localization go against the original vision?
I believe it was intended that way from the get go. Luckily it wasnt rubbed in your face the whole time. It was tastefully done instead of how other games would've handled it. I hope it never becomes more than that in future titles. I want fantasy games to remain that. A fantasy game. Not real world politics game.
@@catalyst539Yes, this issue is political. On an individual level, I treat people with respect, but the collective leftist ideology is inherently rooted in identity politics and intersectionality. This argument you've made about it not being political is a logical trap. If someone advocates for real equality in the law and ignoring identity politics the left has a meltdown over it because "they don't care enough about minorities!", but if someone tries to claim that intersectionality is inherently political and argues that they don't want leftist politics in their media they're suddenly "making something political", when as I stated, intersectionality is inherently political in its nature.
The dlcs are all good. Well Future connected was worse, but that was just a Bonus for Xenoblade 1 Remaster. Future Redeemed (Xenoblade 3 DLC) was very good.
1:50 - It should also be noted that Operation Rainfall is likely the reason why we have a Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and 3. A side effect of a game getting pretty much universal acclaim is that it's practically guaranteed to get a sequel.
The game is kinda scuffed in multiple ways and runs poorly on handheld, you have to be really into what it’s offering and make it over the hump to really get it. You either didn’t like it or it’s your favorite game ever
@@thevoidmagician6653 even taking your opinion as objective fact, 'worst' in the xeno franchise is still leagues above almost all other games that I've ever played. Not a good metric, and also the worst one is X by a mile
@@catalyst539 I honestly find the original very charming, but I also dislike the camp of people who shit on DE for "looking too anime". I dig what both games are going for, stylistically. The OG reminds me of Vagrant Story, and it feels super unique because of it. I also feel like Fiora's face reveal, at prison island, looks better in the OG ngl. Her facial expression is pretty awesome in that version. The same goes for when she says she won't let Egil kill Shulk.
@@EmilXOM you are right, the original Version has ITS own Charm and i can understand some prefer it. The Look was bit more serious and mature imo. Played it the first time on WiiU just a few years before Xenoblade 2 and it was a fantastic experience, even when the graphics had aged. It was also harder without all the QoL Options of the Remaster. Remaster still ist nice, but it has a bit different vibe.
I personally like Wii's style more. I understand that DE is changed for consistency in the aesthetic between games but I think Wii's style mix perfectly easter and weastern style designs. It's true the textures are old an they look kinda weird, but the HD fan version it's really good (it was the way I played it) and still keeps this more grounded aesthetic.
Xenoblade has a narrative that meets my expectations in a way that Dragon Quest has. Xenoblade is an older, rich RPG story told through modern day mechanics.

Will hold off until I finish everything else now :p
you can't like Xenoblade and call those three games a trilogy
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Forever!
Xenoblade 2 is forever trash
Xenoblade is truly special!! great video. If you want more peak fiction, try out Xenogears and the Xenosaga trilogy!!
to me Xenoblade Chronicles story is a lovechild between Digital Devil Saga's narration and mindblowing twists and maybe also the philosophical side, and the Trails series characters. It also follows classic MMORPG progression/quests. It doesn't do it as well in each respective point, but it manages to mix it in so well in the game.
I have the feeling that in the end most of the time the first xenoblade game someone played is their favorite. And most of the time its 2
It is hard to me to say which one I prefer, but I played Xenoblade 1 first and I think Xenoblade 2 does a lot of things better, even made me more excited with the story than Xenoblade 1 did
Hating on the original artstyle smh
That's the whole thing that originally drew me in to playing the game. The colors are generally muted but beautiful with pops of color to make specific things stand out and the artstyle is grounded and soft.
Yep, the original Had ITS own flair
This is quite the meaty series.
Great video! I too sometimes have a hard time justifying or explaining my opinions, and I like how you weren't afraid to highlight that- sometimes things just "click" and theres no better explanation lol Also LOVED the little animatics in there, they added a fun personal flair to the video! Keep up the good work!
Have you not played Xenoblade Chronicles X?
My favourite game ever. Modernised Diablo, it's eternal
I am just now watching this and am disappointed in my recommended videos for not showing me this sooner. Xenoblade truly is peak
The title made it look like you didn't like the series, but you had only praise to tell in the video
Oh, you haven't even reached the best part yet! Hope you enjoy the rest of the game!
great vid. but i must ask where xenoblades most peak of peak is? Aka xenoblade x
For me personally, I'd have to say the entirety of the last two chapters of XC2, easily far and away the most gripping and life-changing few hours I ever spent playing a video game. I know others would mention maybe Egil in XC1 or Chapter 5 in XC3 (which comes in close second for me tbh)
@@Rman1228 well too bad it is shit and you're not very smart then
30h main game... insane! took me ages xD
30h? To me it was 70 hours
Which time line would you choose: the timeline with no war and death but also no xenoblade... or the one with xenoblade but also the other bs??
Thats a gruesome decision to make. I would choose worldpeace and be happy that Xenoblade enabled it.
New Maximinium video? Let's go!
Of the 3, XC2 is also my favourite......but XCX takes the cake, for me. Greatest game I've ever played.
16:43 Damn right. I was so happy while doing the second Zeon mission.
i love the entire franchise, 1 i played multiple times, X was the whole reason i bought a Wii-U before Smash 4, 2 i was hesitant on because it's tone felt alot more "Tales Of" at the beginning but by the end it strengthened my love for the whole series even more and made me a ride-or-die xeno fan, and 3 was probably the best RPG of 2022 that wasn't Eldin Ring. and that's not even getting itno the nitty gritty liek how xenoblade 1 made me love side quests and
I love how Time is always an important theme in the Xenoblade Trilogy.
Xenoblade 1 is about changing the futuee
Xenoblade 2 is about moving on from the past
Xenoblade 3 is about making the most of the present
OK but no mention of the best one, Xenoblade Chronicles X? 🤔
Bro you're 20 and feel old? 😂
Hes a kiddo.
Watched your video because I was interested in the game (I also found out from Smash).
Now I am 100% going to start playing this series!
Most underrated series
so underated in fact everyone and theri mother praise the games every time they can
Xenoblade is the work of God's trying create man all over again
Really great video, always love hearing other people talk fondly about Xenoblade. Truely peak fiction!
Would love to hear your thoughts on each of the DLC’s and how they work alongside their main counterparts!
Every Xenoblade is the best Xenoblade
Even X if we ignore everything related to Tatsu

Loved the series. I agree, peak fiction. What I love most is the occult and philosophical trope allegories it tells. Perfect story imo
Great video! I’m hoping to hop into one soon.
Xenoblade Chronicles 1 - Future
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - Past
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - Present
Xenoblade Chronicles X - ???
Xenoblade Chronicles X - Playable Mechas
Peak Nintendo RPG series in my opinion 👌
20 minutes is nowhere near enough time to do this series justice, but great job nonetheless. Both 2 and 3 hold a special place in my heart - for different reasons - but both are easily Peak Fiction.
Juniper gang the green scrunkly is best
I will never get how XC3 didn't get an award for it's music. I love Soundtracks and collect a lot of this stuff. XC3 (Xenoblade in general) has one of the greatest OSTs I have ever heard. GoWR was good and all, and I am a fan of Bear, but come on- it doesn't hold a candle compared to the masterful and varied music of XC3 (or 1 and 2).
I think everyone will have a different opinion. GoW Ragnarok had one of the most amazing soundtracks I have ever heard in my life. I still listen to it regularly to this day
X>1>3>2 imo
Interesting
You skipped cutscenes in xenoblade 1 and 2???
20:16 ltrl chills
This was a great video, good job
i like the video but i feel like some key features were left out regarding the narrative as to why the series is considered peak fiction:
the Heart to Hearts/camp dialogue which helps flesh out the party even more
the sidequests, which are still compelling even if what you do in them isn't
the DLC/bonus campaigns, especially future redeemed
Xenoblade 1's nigh perfect story to gameplay intigration and how visions are more than just cutscenes to move the plot along
future redeemed considered as good should revoke you any right to talk about anything ever
@@fikaieldjou what are you talking about? It’s the perfect culmination of everything in the series up to this post by and a great cap off for the “klaus saga”. Not to mention most of the characters are well written and likable
@@KeroKaminaX yeah thats why it had to retcon so much to make it fit lmao
1 is the only xenoblade game, 2 and 3 are fanfiction, 1 wasnt made with 2 and 3's bullshit in mind, calling them a trilogy is how I know you dont care about the franchise
I’m sorry if the overarching narrative isn’t something you jive with but this is how they decided to continue the story of 1
@@fikaieldjou btw I have bought every single game’s special edition, bought Xenoblade 1 3 times, done 5-6 different playthrough of 1, one of them 100% completion, do not tell me I don’t care about the franchise. And beyond that I have bought and played the original Xenogears, Literally the only thing of the franchise I haven’t gotten to is Xenosaga
Peak Fiction = Xenogears
Xenogears
Xenogears
Xenogears
Awesome Video, Loved it all.
You kind of sound like Elijah woods (compliment)
XC2 is my favourite too
I’d be curious to how you would react to Nier Automata based your love of these and “peak fiction”.

“Politics”
I’m sure you’re trying to ragebait, but how is a non-binary character in any way related to politics of all things?
I would personally recommend Xenoblade's 2 DLC Torna as it adds context to key characters, and afaik was written alongside base game.

Hello fellow Xenoblade and FE3H enjoyer 🤝🏼
Why does everyone have to be so fucking mean to the Wii versions graphics? God damn.
Because DE looks so much better.
And don’t get me started on Wii Melia. She looks so bad.
