Brilliant communicator and teacher, and they should go hand in hand, though many lack such a skill. You obviously enjoy teaching as you do playing. Thanks for all the great tips. I bet more than one advanced played such as myself will find something to take away. Good work.
Gohar I love your no nonsense way of teaching! Straight up get to the point with what we mostly do wrong you go right in and show us how to fix it. Watching your master class Saturday 10/15 at HCC Tampa FL. was intriguing to say the least. You always meet the student where they are at non judgmentally but spot on helpful with immediate results from the students. I was so disappointed the class was filled by the time I signed up but truthfully I learned so much observing each and every 20 minute lesson without the stress of “waiting to play next” that my mind and heart was open to take in (and write down) many pearls of wisdom! Thank you for your willingness to share your time and expertise.
Thank you Heidi! I try to be concise and not waste anyone’s time haha! I’m glad you enjoyed the master class! Thank you for coming! Sometimes watching other people and the commentary can be just as helpful, even if the comments weren’t made directly about your own performance! I’m glad you found that to be true as well!!
Thank you so much. I briefly played this a while back but now I'm gonna get back to it. Your input on the musicality will help me look at this piece properly.
Thank you, dear Gohar for your lesson, you make your things very well, l am a gittarist too, but not such a Profi. However, l like it very much too, with lovely greatings to you, Christine
Obrigado linda. Você toca com maestria. Gosto muito de ouvir você executar estas peças. Estou tentando aprender Adelita, mas acho difícil os ligados. Você explica bem.
Great lesson. Unfortunately, you breezed right past the transition Im struggling with. The hand pn getting from M 11 beat 3 to M12 beat 1 has to come completely of the fret board to achieve. And adding the ornament on beat 1 M 12 just creates a point stress everytime. While i can play both MM 11 and 13 perfectly on in isolation, I cant put them together in any fluid musical way. I have two years coming back to this. I get frustrated and put in down the pick it up. I have worked it both with MM and without. Both with ornaments and without. Both melody and harmony and singularly melody and harmony. I have subscribed to your channel and clicked notifications. Hopefully, in the future you may revisit this. Adding more specific tips on how to practice difficult areas would be great. Thx for the vids....
Hi Gohar, thanks so much for this video! I'm taking my RCM 5 exam in a few weeks, and am planning to play Adelita for my Level 6 exam. I've actually already memorized the piece, but I struggle to make it beautiful for all the reasons you mentioned - especially the ornamentation in the B section! My only request is perhaps to speak closer to the mic. It was a bit hard to hear what you were saying, even with the volume all the way up!
Darling Gohar, what arrangement are you using for this rendition? The music I have seems different. I like your B section fingering better than mine. Thank you as always for clear teaching.
I always come back to your lessons gauhar. Thank you so much
Perfect teacher +Perfect soloist +wonderful personality =Gohar Vardanyan!!!!

I watch this lesson over and over and each time I lean something new.
Very helpful to state putting the melody out front and use the supporting notes as they are intended. Great positional tips also. Thank you!

Improve my playing of this tune. But, what should I learn next after Adelita?
Estudio Brillante is a nice progression up from this piece by Tarrega, among many of his beautiful pieces.
Thank you very much for this video
