It never occured to me that many girls would look up to nami in universe. Especially as important as she is to literally directing the straw hat places
It only occurred to me watching this episode that Nami would be a great role model for girls. Like she's a normal girl on a crew consisting of a rubber god Yonko, future world's greatest swordsman, cyborg, etc., and she still makes a place for herself based on her merit as a navigator and ability to predict the weather
When I got into One Piece, Sanji quickly became my fave because of his kindness towards Ghin. However, Nami, Vivi and Robin also held a special place in my heart because they’re all smart, skilled and brave women who have been through a lot but kept fighting for their dreams and their goals - charting a map of the world (and saving her whole village while sacrificing her own freedom), to protect the peace of an entire kingdom and to find the whole world’s history through the ultimate poneglyph. And while they have their moments of needing help, that’s not weakness. That’s them realising they’re not alone and can fight *with* someone to protect what is precious to them, someone who understands how important it is for them to turn to him and say “I need your help”. Thank you Luffy! ❤
this was probably the most amazing episode ive seen this year. And im aware there are lots of animes and the main storyline itself. Its just that... this single ep hit so hard. Literally cried for a marine
There's such a strong message behind that. Even when you think you are a little, insignificant person without any power or influence, you can be an important puzzle piece of a greater story. Everybody can be part of something bigger. Every seemingly small action does matter. You can affect other people's life with your own actions and decisions! And so do all these side characters in One Piece - another indication of the greatness and uniqueness of this masterpiece. Even side characters are so interesting in this vast world. And that's what I love about One Piece: the stories of the people and to what extent they are linked together.
who would have thought reading this as a kid in American shonen jump around Orange Town. I would cry when Luffy got his first bounty , when Nami felt defeated after Arlong lied to her, when Luffy felt defeated Crocodile Enel or Doffy, I've cried for a ship, I've cried for the loss of a brother. I've cried for nations just wanting freedom.every character's backstory from Brook to Chopper to jimbe to even the smallest of characters. So many memories of this great series. this is a lifetime experience. no other series could touch upon so many emotions and scenarios. One Piece will forever be a masterpiece.
I know Oda is a master of these types of things, but it would be nice seeing these characters again in the future. Maybe some of them join Bartolomeo crew, the girl working in the book store can see a Soul King concert. For the main character, possibly she can be a weather reporter in the future and write a letter to Nami in the newspaper. Heck! Robin can have a chat at the Café/Bookstore with the Captain who thinks Chooper is cute (Robin in disguise and the Captain in civilian attire) discussing what tings are cute or not… and maybe the two brothers (who seems caring for Marines) can join SWORD and serve alongside Cody & company.
@@cwega2463what makes this so great is how open one pieces world is and the characters are very inspiring! Oda should get credit! he made really great characters and one of the best worlds in all of fiction! 😊

I LOVE THIS EPISODE ♥ Its always soooooo interesting to see storys like this from the eyes of civilians who have to live in the world of OP. And i also loved how every voice actor of the strawhats did sing a part in the outro of the episode.
Megumi Ishitani struck gold once again with another beautifully directed and animated episode of One Piece. This episode warmed my soul and reminded me why this is the best story ever. One Piece is peak fiction.
At the end of the episode I started to get really emotional as it shows how even if you are a ordinary person you can play a big roll in others lives by setting a goal and trying your best to reach it every day. I hope to see more episodes like this in the future.
I didn't know what to expect, but this special was absolute peak fiction. It send me on such an emotional rollercoaster. The animation. The music. The characters. The plot. It's been less than 30 minutes, but this special has been so immersive that I didn't want it to end, and yet, I genuinely smiled at the end with goosebumps.
An unexpected LORE and it beautiful, amazing and feel like a one piece episode. Wr need more of this immediately, i wanna see other characters perspective view.
I would love for see this in the perspective of the marines during punk hazard. How they wanted to be loyal to their cause as marines, but also did fall in love with the strawhats.
This is just one of many untold stories of the people in the One Piece world who have played their part, unseen, to save the Straw Hat crew time and time again. I'd love to see more of these to help fill the time until Oda returns.
“Nami-San, You are my Hope…in this world, where power is everything, even if I get hurt or trampled on…I still want to struggle, run, and live as freely as I can…I came to think that way thanks to you…I hope you continue to have wonderful adventures!”
This almost made me cry tears of happiness. I cant imagine a world without weekly one piece. Lets all appreciats the 25 years and hope for many more years❤
Honestly I wouldn't mind a spin off series of One piece of just the people living in this wacky world. Like just some random farmer or baker whatever reacting to all the crazy stuff that happens like Buggy becoming an emperor or Luffy/Law/Kid taking down Kaido and Big Mom etc while just living their normal lives.
idk why but "SET SAIL!" line instantly hit me hard, i feel like it became my motivational line whenever i face upcoming hardships in life rn. I'm a fan.
I see it as a way to say to the fan; if the crew can still go on many adventures, it is because there's all kinds of fan supporting them. I see it as a love letter to the fans. There's also the point that this little girl dreaming of adventure of her own, at last got a small one adventure because she looks up to Nami and was inspired by her. This sends the message that sometimes by supporting our crew, we can also have a little adventure of our own. It was really a deep, deep symbolic episode.

Something I love about this episode is that it shows that even normal people in the OP world can make a big difference.
1:37 This is legendary. The marines pulling out Enel Face.
0:01 this one is even more legendary. This scene is a reference to when Garp and Luffy in Marineford, showing how much passionate Megumi Ishitani to put many creative easter egg in one episode.
Even in a episode covering a filler novel Toei managed to add a FILLER scene to slander Sanji ... they are generational haters 🤣
Onihihi
it's not filler, its an adaptation of an anthology book but they kind of mashed all the stories together. (the brook fan is supposed to take place in water 7 in the novel)
@qai3962 The books content is filler/not canon is what i meant and in the book there is no scene of Sanji being laughed at like that .. his part was literally a girl falling in love with him. So they added filler into non canon content to make Sanji look bad.
@@talalahsan6824as a sanji supporter, I enjoyed the scene. It was funny and more oda style. Rather than making him simp over women.
@@jockergaming8570 Sanji is my fav and the scene is good BUT when almost every filler scene Toei does is somehow negative for Sanji it kinda frustrates me .. if this was a once in a while thing it would be okay but its not.
This little short anime helped remind me why I love One Piece so much. The stories, the characters, the adventures, the emotions it gives are what makes this anime so great!!! One Piece inspires us to achieve our dreams because dreams are ETERNAL!!! 🤩
One Piece 4EVER!!!!! 🏴☠️
Nami, who spent the majority of her life in captivity, is now the source of freedom for this young girl. It’s not just incredible storytelling-it really drives home how much Nami has grown and how far she’s come in reclaiming her own freedom.
Bartolomeo: "You could write them a letter?!"
man never expected one piece to have such artistic looking visuals nowadays. it's like that look that i always loved from japanese animated music videos
It’s beautiful how this one girl, her devotion towards Nami and how it inspired her that she can do anything despite living in a world full of superhumans!! This was amazing ❤❤❤❤
I just wish nami got to read that letter! 😩
@@eshel9886 same mannnn
Hi everyone. I'm not here to make a scene. But just wanna say.. thank you 😢 for supporting and loving ONE PIECE this long. I'm in one of the positions that one could ever dream of... a fan is one.. but as one of the animators of this masterpiece.. *still crying*.. after seeing this fan letter.. we promise, we will keep on SAILING for all of ya'll! If all our tireless and sleepless night will bring joy to everyone.. then it's all gonna be worth it! From the bottom of my heart.. thank you nakamas! Thank you ODA! Thank you TOEI! Thank you Luffy! ❤
No, thank you! Thank you for bringing one of the greatest stories ever made to life! From all of Us to You! THANK YOU!!!
this was probably the most amazing episode ive seen this year. And im aware there are lots of animes and the main storyline itself. Its just that... this single ep hit so hard. Literally cried for a marine
Love how crunchyroll says "singlehandedly" like this wasn't the result of so many people being affected by the Straw hats in a positive way.
I LOVED this special!
Me too man
who would have thought reading this as a kid in American shonen jump around Orange Town.
Emotional damage
Loved Every bit of this
Also seeing the other side of Marine-ford that we didn’t see in anime was emotional
That was the side of the war that Koby was seeing when he stopped Akainu and stalled out for Shanks.
That's exactly what One Piece is about, Freedom
Oda didn’t make this
@@cwega2463 this special was loosely adapted from a novel that oda helped on, so in a roundabout way he did have a hand in it
Bartos crew got cooked by ussop dad
@@Oreli oda had no involvement in the fan letter novel outside of the mandatory “based on the world and characters created by Oda” credit.
@@cwega2463what makes this so great is how open one pieces world is and the characters are very inspiring! Oda should get credit! he made really great characters and one of the best worlds in all of fiction! 😊
Thta was an amazing special! I love how they made this animation!
Goosebumps. I love you One Piece, i love you Oda 😭
God,the voice actors did so well!! You can literally feel the sheer emotion being put into the line read
I honestly thought this would just be a random filler episode, but the emotions and perspectives shown in this episode reminded me why I kept on watching even after a thousand episodes and why I'll continue watching even if there are a thousand more episodes
I LOVE THIS EPISODE ♥
Its always soooooo interesting to see storys like this from the eyes of civilians who have to live in the world of OP.
And i also loved how every voice actor of the strawhats did sing a part in the outro of the episode.
I am literally crying tears of joy for the privilege of being alive and living in the same world as One Piece.
Megumi Ishitani struck gold once again with another beautifully directed and animated episode of One Piece. This episode warmed my soul and reminded me why this is the best story ever. One Piece is peak fiction.
The whole scene where Luffy yells set sail and the music starts playing. Cinema 😊❤
this was Phenomenally phenomenal. I don’t even feel like I’ve seen a fraction of what Ishitani is capable of.
Happy 25th anniversary One piece anime! Amazing episode! Megumi Ishitani and all who worked on this episode are the goats!
This special is awesome, Happy 25th Anniversary of One Piece
the backgroud sonng.... i can't , it's beautiful
I really need the OST to this scene alone.
0:26 Navy captain is so careful to place his own puzzle is wholesome scene.
Episode of the year.
Basically the quality of opening 26 but in an entire episode
Perfect!!!!
Toei: "It's non-canon"
The fandom: Welp it is now.
I would love for see this in the perspective of the marines during punk hazard. How they wanted to be loyal to their cause as marines, but also did fall in love with the strawhats.
Hearing Luffy saying set sail was so beautiful. I love my straw hats so much. 😭😭😭
Can we for a second appreciate the animation one piece and all the people behind this opera is giving us even after so many years
This special really puts in perspective how insane the paramount war was. And how powerful some of the big players are. I’d love more stuff like this
bro THIS is soo refreshing it actually made my day
I love the idea that these people and their stories are just pieces of a puzzle waiting to come together
Just when you tought you couldn't love One Piece more they drop this masterpiece of an episode. Megumi Ishitani greatness!!!
😭😭😭this literally made me cry. These voice actors definitely need and Oscar too
Was having such a bad day and seeing this just made everything so much better
0:56 that smile took my heart 😭♥️♥️
easily shot up to one of my favorite episodes. Always love seeing the worlds perspective
This is just one of many untold stories of the people in the One Piece world who have played their part, unseen, to save the Straw Hat crew time and time again. I'd love to see more of these to help fill the time until Oda returns.
I love this episode purely for the fact that this shows that even in the world of one piece, anybody can be great
I wasnt expecting this to be so amazing. And the amount of humour is absolutely brilliant. 👏
I'm a fan.
i may or may not have paused at 0:53
🔥😩😩😩
uh… okay.
Us bro us🗿
Me too
I may or may not have paused at 0:42
I see it as a way to say to the fan; if the crew can still go on many adventures, it is because there's all kinds of fan supporting them.
Brooo we got One Piece's Rogue One or Andor before GTA VI and its as beautiful as the original series🥲
I love how the fan letters represent us as if we were there ourselves
the girl saying yeah at the end of the eps when luffy says set sail is so real as a one piece fan man
