Daniel is a good guy. It's been so heartwarming to watch him grow up and become a young man; following his faith and preparing to do the work of The Lord.

I've worked in adoption in the UK in the past. Unfortunately you do get occasional instances where people find the experience of adopting a child doesn't match their expectations. It's always terribly distressing for all concerned.

My guess is the paint is washable, if it is the paint I think it is. If nothing else, it could be power washed very easily. Having watched the Knorpps for some time now, I trust them to take care of any paint in the garage!
janet byrne I wasn’t saying that they won’t. Just curious if Megan had any tips or trick on removing paint from garage floors. I got paint on mine and is having the hardest time time removing it.
Kim Dougherty what kind of paint did you use, and what kind of floor? If it is a stable surface you can either erode the paint with abrasion (heat gun and scraper, sanding or maybe power washing, depending on where it is) or if you have to, chemical stripping and mopping it up. All those things are kind of toxic. Hopefully it’s not too large a space. But you are right, it is easier to put drop cloths or cardboard down first rather than having to go back and clean it up! Sometimes the paint just gets away from me if I’m just too focused on the project, and then I have to spend a lot of time afterwards. Another option, maybe a last resort if it’s a large stain, is to paint the whole floor!

Megan has addressed this several times in other vlog comments. They had planned a trip but then the pandemic started and is still currently ongoing. Not exactly the best or smartest time to be travelling either domestically or out of country. Megan said they'll take a trip when/if Daniel is able too once the pandemic is over. 😊

Using a soft stipple with a paint brush will help get that gold leaf in the crevasses much more effectively and faster. Looks awesome!

i did! it’s so sad but i think it was more about him having too many health problems. but regardless they should’ve kept him...

62 year old English lady and I have never heard the word chippy to describe furniture, we use distressed or pinch the French shabby chic. Xx
