Sometimes when a place with doors is loaded in without being loaded for a bit, the default position for doors is open, I believe. So sometimes doors will load in open.

Just as some people here mentioned, drink a bucket of milk to get rid of it. Rest of the mishaps, might be glitches. I once was away for a week, mining, and went back home to find the main door open. Got so paranoid, I even thought 'someone' had taken bread from one of my chests! Make sure to pay attention to the dogs' tails. They are indicative of their health. The lower the tail, the lower the health. You can heal them by feeding them food. They also whine when they are low on health. Other than that, you're doing great!
Aw don't feel as about your castle - it's a completely different thing! The city v a big old castle are not comparable. Your awesome castle is great. And I could never think up the defense you've done.
I must say this video was awesome to watch even i should've been sleeping i gotta wake up in 2 hours 2am my time my fault but im glad i didn't sleep i would've missed out on them moves boogie down with the boogie man. Until next time safe travels sorry to see kev was gone

No more like it will trigger a raid if you still have max at least 1to 5 witch can spawn in pillagers vindactors and evorkos also witchs let me tell what they vindactors can break down doors on hard mod witchs heal injured allies pillagers shot at you at range and evorkoer now the stronger one ravgers a stone tank with a ram attack on eazy 3.4 hearts med 6 hearts on hard 9 hearts

But horses don't despawn by default in Minecraft.
theres a bug that makes tamed animals go invisible you have to reload the game to fix it

One unfortunate thing that happens sometimes in Minecraft is that, when you go to far away, your pets (i.e. Kevin) will despawn, or disappear.

Don't be discouraged about your survival mode castle build. Building is significantly more challenging and time consuming in survival mode.

Kevin probably despawned. In order to have a mob not despawn, you have to give it a name tag. Unfortunately Kevin is gone for good I’m afraid :/
