Small correction, the AME broke away from the Methodist Episcopal Church, which after several mergers is now known at the United Methodist church.

I have to respectfully disagree. Most so called Christian’s today have made the church of their choice a lifestyle pick, just the same as they make their local supermarket a lifestyle choice. Christian values have never been needed more, yet are in absolute decline despite the forty thousand plus denominations of christendom. Christianity is not a liberal faith. It is alive, active and inspirational. It’s not a convenience.
