    This video was super helpful!!! Only thing, from a beginner prospective that knows nothing about mapping, make sure you first thoroughly explain what you mean when you say “you’re going to go in an up direction”. The whole time you were explaining squirrel, I’m sitting here going nuts like what does she mean go up.. it wasn’t until you talked about droopy eyes and then it clicked ooohhhh she means change to a more curly lash ext 🤦🏽‍♀️ Overall great video. Now that I have a better understanding of what “go up” means, I’m going to watch it again to jot down notes 👍🏾

    I’m so glad I came across your channel and website. I’m studying beauty therapy and have missed the first day in class of lash extensions. I’m pretty sure I’ve come away with a lot more knowledge just from watching a few of your videos. I’m finding it difficult to determine eye shapes - in this video would it be possible to have some before and after shots of each different eye and also hooded eye lids? Looking forward to buying your ebook and potentially the classic course. Your advice about not being able to cram all different types of lashes into a short course was very much appreciated.

    Would love to have seen some pictures of before and afters of the eye shapes and what you did, as well as lash lengths and size. I just got my cert and right now this seems ( meaning working on clients) so far away cause I feel kinda overwhelmed 😳( not by you! Lol ) there is a lot of information that was left out of the course I took than what you go over ( which is amazing) but being a lash tech is not as easy as one thinks ( well a good one) thks again!! Look forward to more videos. If you can do more videos of an eye shape and the lengths you used in each section plus the lash it self would be so helpful! ( unless I haven’t gotten to that video

      Hi Shay! First of all, thanks so much for taking the time to watch this video and your feedback is so important to me going forward with creating similar videos. 💓 Education is our #1 priority and we try to leave no stone unturned when it comes to fundamental training. @kristakelly7590 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think when she's saying 'upward' she's talking about the placement of the lash extension onto the natural lash and the slight angle you place the extension so that it is almost tilted towards like the inner corner a little bit. Then the longer lengths would be tilted toward the outer corner a little. Hope this makes sense, kinda hard to explain. 🙂

    • @kristakelly7590
      @kristakelly7590 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Basically it's how you place the extension to the natural lash. Make sure it's not placed tilted to one side or the other. Hope this helps.

    • @LostArtistryLash
      @LostArtistryLash 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      By using different types of placement (eg, placing the extension on either side of the natural lash, the bottom or the top) you can create certain effects to the set. Directing up / straight as opposed to directing the lash sweeping to the outer corner by placing the extension on the side... Hopefully this helped! 💖

    • @LostArtistryLash

      Thanks a million for the comment! When I mention ‘UP’, I’m meaning to be careful of the direction and shape of the fan or classic lash you are laying.
