So stoked for nhl in Utah. Been dreaming about another pro team here since I can remember. I’ve been a casual hockey fan but am looking forward to learning more about the game now that my city has a team!
Also, being there also, seeing the blue on the screens makes me hopeful that they’ll announce an alternate where the primary color is that powder blue!!
Only 10K for games? I thought it was going to be over 12K. I will say that all of those retracted seats on both ends gives a really odd look to the arena.
What do we all have to do to get the Utah Hockey Organization to recognize a big ambassador of Coyotes Hockey, Shane Doan? I feel if Utah retires the #19 and allow, “The Doaner” drop the first puck at the first home game at the Delta Center. This will hopefully convince the Coyotes Fans to keep rooting for the Utah team. There are a lot of fans in the Az. market looking for a new team to follow. Utah needs to jump on this opportunity. What are your thoughts?
I’m not saying it’s a bad idea, but I don’t think it’s going to happen or even being considered. I think Utah is fully committed to starting its own identity from scratch, with almost zero attention paid to the Coyotes’ history.
that is idiotic. utah hc is a brand new start up with no ties to phx./az. Az. yotes don't exist anymore. Doan has nothing to do with utah hc and was a good but not great player. If anything nhl should give jets 1.0 '79-'96 nhl history back to winnipeg to go with jets 2.0. And phx./az. never bothered to keep bobby hull's #9 retired so why should utah h c honor doan or his #19 in any way? Just an assinine idea. Ask cleveland browns fans how they would feel if someone on ravens like ray lewis or ogdon got a retired number in cleveland? Or ravens retiring j. brown #32. Cause that is the same thing. ravens history has no connection to browns 1.0 or browns at all. utah is basically an expansion franchise that got to keep az. players, coaches, staff, gm, etc. And now you can watch vgk games.
@@SLCPuckI get it. I guess I was seeing it from the perspective of a fan living in Az. that just lost their team. Lucky for me I’m an Az native who has lived in Utah for 27 years and has always been a Coyote fan. To have an NHL team in Utah and it being the team rooting for since day one is freakn awesome I also feel that doing something will hopefully keep the fans in Az rooting for the Utah team. That’s a market Utah needs to make sure it taps into before all the fans scatter for other teams. Don’t get me wrong. I’m all for new traditions and if nothing happens., great nothing happens. Play on
Conspiracy theory, Austin has insider info and full well knew the two picks were not going to have Z’s so he made that bet knowing he wouldn’t have to go through with it.
They’re doing Utah Hockey club for a year so that everyone has to re-buy all the merchandise again next year. They’re really milking you guys for every penny they get. Hopefully the team eventually pays for local things like free passes to the YMCA for kids and stuff like that

Thank you for doing this! Super cool for people that didn’t make it. Great work and keep it up!

@@SLCPuck Coyotes history should go to Winnipeg.
@@SLCPuck My understanding is that Utah games will be shown here in Phoenix

Like 10 people were in there.
The concourse by the entrance was very busy.
There were easily 3-4K at the arena for the draft party
@@SLCPuck good bc the arena looked hella empty. But dang hope ur at a watch party today. That big trade is crazy. We got a #1 top D man!

This is kind of embarrassing the lack of support at the draft party.
First!
