We have never taste tested Afghani food before so join us in trying Samosa Chat, Beef Kofta, Eggplant, and Chicken Kabob which the restaurant said was Afghani style.

Just a bit of advice, perhaps education; It's actually called 'Afghan food', not Afghani or Afghanistan food, Afghani is the currency and Afghanistan is the name of the country. just like you would say America food, you would say American food...

@@ontherodas6400 Pls have it with the white sauce chakka and the other one called chadni and also, there is bolani filled with mince and with potatoes, I personally prefer the one with the potato filling!

To answer your questions, we don't have carrots and raisins in every rice dish. That rice dish specifically is called qabuli.
Eggplant we normally have with naan and some pressed yogurt. Lots of people don't like the eggplant texture (like my bro).

Edit: I suggest trying Korean food next, particularly their kalbi (beef short tips) and Korean fried chicken.

Maybe that’s mutton meat, a full grown lamb. I am Filipino working in the Middle East, I tried their kebab for the first time, and I really thought it was beef, but then there was something different on the meat that I can’t figure out. So they told me that it was mutton, I wasn’t familiar how mutton meat taste like because in the Philippines we are not really familiar with mutton and lamb meat. Usually we cook pork and seafood, those are the staple type of food that we have, chicken and beef too but not so much. Most of the dishes we prepare are seafood and pork.
Yes I guess it might be mutton but I never heard of that it’s very tender

Why didn't you try the Afghan eggplant, it is the best eggplant in the world, you should have added that white sauce on top and served it with bread.

Try a different afghani restaurant, this one looked too dry. Good afghani food is the best in the world, and so many different varieties.
