Awesome. Best A body B body an E body mopars. Best year for the dart I'd have to say! The dart had the best burnout of the 3. I'd like to see the 3 run the 1/4
@EAGL30NE You're not doing so bad yourself, EAGLE30NE. I also have a 70 Swinger with a slant-6, nearly 240K. Like yours, mine is in a little rough shape, some rust issues and such, but she's still running. I plan to restore her, but she'll remain a six-cyl. I also own a '06 Chrysler 300C (yeah, she's a HEMI), so my "horse power jones" is satisfied. LOL. Look up "Dodge Dart Neighborhood" to see my Dart from the 80s.
The only car that showed some power was the green challenger. He punched it from a roll and lit up the tires while accelerating. The dart basically just did a brake stand, pickup trucks can do that. The charger was another brake stand but once the tires got spinning he got off the brakes but after 50-60 feet it was struggling. The Challenger lit the tires and they stayed lit as the RPMS climbed, he’s got a lot more under the hood than the other two.
man! is it allright to say it? i got a woody... just bought a 72 dart..318 auto..its cammed and 4bbl..lame rear an blown trans so far... but.... i have had the mopar jones ever since my 340 swinger (69)way back in 76-79....im back ..and its black!
This is now my all-time favorite TH-cam vid. It's Mopar or No Car, baby.

Driver has more to do with burnouts than engines

I could peel more rubber with a Honda
But when it comes to the ladies, with the Honda, you won't be needing your rubber.
I hate darts
