I found a new bolt with good threads and added a bit locktite on it and screwed it on place. I hope it works🙏

The Piaggio don't have a gasket..?? Which scooter do you have?
@@scooterstreetau the gasket between the muffler and down pipe where it bolts together with 3 nuts I shopped around and managed to get a new one from ped parts for 2.45 so very happy now :)
@@dexietyy7922 Oh yes I understand👍, it does pay to check the exhuast bolts every month, due to the heat they do expand and contract.
I just fitted this exhaust for my Yamaha aerox and I did not change the rollers as my bike went 50 mph before I got this exhaust, but when I fitted this exhaust my bike accelerated slowly and didn’t go above 34 then it suddenly accelerated fast and went above 50, then I came to a stop and the bike will now not go above 28 mph. I have de restricted this exhaust and the same thing happens. What should I do ?
It is difficult to answer without knowing what the engine has already fitted. So the best answer is, when you fit an exhaust you must; Change the main jet to suit; change the rollers (usually lighter) to reduce load; change the clutch or clutch springs to assist with rpm building. This is a very general guide..

Hi Brad, is this the quietest performance pipe on the market other than the lion?
It is yes, but I would not classify it as quiet. The packing in the stinger is the main noise reduction element on these exhausts.
Yasuni Z is also a great option here
I recently installed a Leo Vince TT exhaust and now the acceleration is really bad, what should i do?
You must adjust the carby and transmission, you cant just put an exhaust on, we made videos regarding what to do when installing an exhaust.
Is it possible to pair with a Malossi MHR Replica 70cc with good result?
Yes you can fit them together but not an ideal pairing. The Leo will give good acceleration.
The Leo TT performs better on the cast iron Malossi Sport 70cc due to lower revs and delivers great torque on that cilinderkit
@@borreltjuh83 Yes👍, we tested the Leo over a 2 year period with many cylinders and also the MHR Rep and the acceleration with the rep/TT is very good.
What jetting do you need with this exhaust for the carb on a piaggio nrg 2011
Start at 62 jet. You may need to adjust the jet to find the ideal size for your setup.
you need a 64 jet
How about jetting on a kymco super 8 50cc 2t with malossi cut out filter in box

Hello. Would this pipe work well with a stock sr50 factory piaggio injected? Or would a malossi flip be a better choice for a injected sr?
I would use the Leo TT all day everyday if this was my options. You will need to change rollers and clutch springs.
@@scooterstreetau Thank you! It was also cheaper than the malossi. Have a bad setup right now that lets the belt slip in the mid gears. Hoping the springs and rollers included will help with that.

Yes it will hit the body panel. Try the Leo Vince Touring exhuast / Malossi Wild Lion, they work great and have clearance on the panel.
Guess what , still don't know if the expansion chamber is Stainless steel .

What sort of speeds can you get out of a typhoon 50cc with this exhaust and tuning kit? How much is it to ship to NZ ?
With all things tuned correctly, you would be seeing 76-80 kph from a 50cc. NZ Shipping is approx $80AU
@@scooterstreetau Sweet as, What if i just update the variator bushing and change the rollers? or do you really need to update the exhaust too? I noticed in the exhaust upgrade kit that a variator bushing isnt included will this not limit the top speed anyway?
@@rosscollier3992 To increase the speed you need to overcome the restrictions...... The Exhaust is a major restriction. Do you have the early model Typhoon or the later model after 2018?
@@scooterstreetau Its the 2018 model. Its just so it doesn't go 48kmph and can keep up with traffic up hill it slows to 30! haha... Money is a bit tight at the minute so may have to wait a couple of months before i go for the exhaust so was looking for an compromise for the time being until i can unleash its full potential.

You will have to modify the mounting bracket to the frame and add a little heat to realign the exhaust body.

hi i hope you guys see this, ive bought a yasuni z for my piaggio typhoon from 2007, but i simply can't get it to drive properly, whould a leo vince tt be better for my moped? it's stock
Hi Daniel, it really depends on why it is not working. The Yas Z should be great for a 07 Typhoon. Many riders fit the exhaust without considering changing other parts to keep the balance. We have several videos covering what is required at the minimum when you change the exhaust. If the scooter is standard you MUST: CHange the main jet. change the rollers. Change the clutch spring set.

@@danielschmidt4064 You can buy a pack with Medium, sport and race tension. It is the best option to work out what you need to run on the clutch.

I just got this pipe fitted on my sr 50r 2020, it’s has a 62 jet and no variator restriction but it still only tops out at a 70 kph. What can I do to increase top speed without upgrading cylinder?
Hi Theo2, lots of questions here, we have done several videos on what to do when you fit an exhaust to a stock scooter.. Some questions to be asked..
Is the Leo derestricted?
Is the 62 the correct size?
Has the air box been modified?
Have the clutch spring set been fitted?
Have the rollers been changed?
Did you alter the ECU carby control?
Is the carby diffuser still in place?

I have a malossi dubbel red spunge
I haven’t changed clutch springs but I have some red ones that was included with the pipe
I change the rollers to 4,8g which resulted in a worse acceleration so I changed back, I’m planning to maybe mix them with the original and see how that works out
I have not removed the ecu carb thing because I have been planning to get the malossi cdi and you mentioned that it can have some benefits having it connected then.
I don’t know what you mean with carby diffuser but if it is the the metal plate between the air box and carb I have removed it
@@theo2522 Is 62 the correct size jet? It may be too rich, have you tuned the carby? Ee have done several videos on what to do when you fit an exhaust to a stock scooter. Was there a running issue before you changed the exhaust?

I been watching your videos and learned allot and I’m feeling comfortable to install a new cylinder but I know my scoter is liquid cooled and I can’t find any videos on what’s different in the process. I would really appreciate if you guys could make a video or just answer this comment with what’s different during installation and what else to think about
@@theo2522 We do have many plans for water cooled scooter in the pipeline👍. Generally the same procedure but the cooling hoses and coolant system need to be removed and refitted.

Yes it is louder but the benefits are great and worth it. It must be tuned to suit..

@@scooterstreetau Is it too loud? because if it is too loud than it will get attention by the police. Here where i live mopeds are allowed to do max 30mph and i want to derestrict mine by using this exhaust because it is an euro 4 moped so the exhaust is buillt restricted.

if i put the malossi digitronic cdi do i still need to remove the black and white wire from the cdi?
What do the instructions say? Follow the instructions for the kit you have purchased.
@@scooterstreetau when i first bought a cheap derestricted euro 4 cdi from division, my scooter started but when i was going past 30 km/h it died and it was not working properly
I didn’t get a manual with the cdi
@@scooterstreetau now i am currently using the stock cdi with black and white wire but i feel like the scoot is still restricted electronically because i have a little bit of tuning and i can t get it over 75 on gps ( 80 on dash)

Exhaust for APRILIA PIAGGIO. There are exhaust for Peugeot but it must be specified to fit the model you intend to bolt it too.
When u mix rollers only do max 1 gr different otherwise the variator ll be unbalanced and start to vibrate
No, you just need to alternate the light and heavy rollers. 3 heavy, and 3 lighter in an alternating pattern so that the weight stays balanced. As long as they're alternated for balancing, you can run as much of a difference as you'd like.
