Let's build a Rimu Office Footrest

Build a timber (rimu) footrest for Cynthia's office.
Cut timber to size and sand finish.
Lathe brass covers for screws to create a bit of bling.
Finish with wax and polish.

Here's a suggestion you may like.
Modify the stools front legs with a very large radius (full radius), so your feet can tip the stool to the desired angle that is comfortable to them - not just flat.
PS - putting a 1x1 edge of the front (back?) of it will prevent feet from slipping off. If put on with pegs, it would be removable if disliked.
