The free Update 2.0 for Cyberpunk 2077 is now available!
It brings an overhaul to a number of gameplay mechanics and core game features (such as the police system and Perk trees) along with various fixes and improvements. These changes apply to the base game and are available to all players, free of charge.

This is the worse ending I believe. Johnny gets wiped completely in a worse way then the normal endings, V is basically no more, all your old friends forgot about you. I still like the Panam one where you leave NC,
Yeh that's the only good one but if you romanced panam before PL Ending she ghosts you she won't even pick the phone up
This ending is so real. It’s like life. time pass and people you’ve met forget about you becoming a lost memory. And that we all think we’re the center of the world and everybody’s world but we’re not we get to live on as npc of other peoples worlds. And I know we don’t wanna be forgotten by our friends like what happened to V but that’s life I think this ending is very real really sad cuz of what we used to be but also existing for V and that smile he did at the end it assured it.
and yet everyone seems to place infinite value on these relationships. Delude themselves. Till reality hits and time passes. Then they will justify to you why its normal for people to forget you. When their canonical ending was being with your "loved ones" prior to this endings existence.
This was a good ending, people are missing the point Johnny has already lived his life so V getting to live his/her is best
There is a lot going on with this ending. Sadly, i couldn't get this ending cause my game bugged out... lol. Reed never called me about the cure. Ugh.
Either way... it seems a lot of people find this ending sad, but i think this is only cause of our perception as a player.
When we played as V, we were powerful. The entire world was open to us. To see V reduced to basically just a normal person is sad, cause we grew used to the V before that. We feel sad cause we are stripped of power. Our character is stripped of power.
But it is as Misty said. It's not like this is "bad"... V is just a regular person now. The kind that we are irl. A face in the crowd, as Misty said. Very accurate.
Then.. the moral of the story is quite clear here. The title of legend do not belong to the living. It is a title reserved for the dead.
To become a legend is to sacrifice everything.

I have to say, that was for me personally one of the worst endings in whole cyberpunk. U betray Johnny and loose literally everything friends and especially your life as songbird said there’s a worse faith than death…
But V gets a chance for a new life, every ending comes at a cost.

@@BigO161107 A New life? Lmfao think again, silly. V can't deffend himself anymore, depending of what you did in your game, if you have Netwatch or Aguilar after you, you can be sure that V won't last more than a year alive. Do you have idea how many enemies V did?
V won't survive, V will die alone and anonymous, It's literally the worst ending, nothing could be worst than this.
This is just a guess but, I personally think during the two years V was in a coma Panam dies. I know I know but despite V losing everyone they will still have one last conversation over the holo I just can't imagine Panam not holoing V back after learning V is still alive after leaving 50+ missed calls.
I cant finish this ending, it just makes me so sad to see our main guy fade away
Do you lose your progress after the ending or are you reseted just like in the Nocture endings?

Best ending in my headcanon, V goes to Poland with misty starts a new life in peace no violence no cyberware that makes you go insane, safe from enemies arasaka, netwatch, the fia and so on and that you friends left you is no wonder after 2 years of being away. Dont forget you are a legend in Night city as rouge said

Idk if I’m the only one but after the ending what happens to your game? Cause after my credits they take me to the Home Screen and when I restart it starts me where V is about to get beat in the ally and all over again so that suppose to happen?
I think it just loads your last save
Hot take: I think this is the second best ending for V. He's no longer going to die, and has a guaranteed comfy job waiting for him. That's already more than what most people can say in night city.
In all other endings, you will die. From "The Devil" ending, we know that this will happen shortly. In the stars, even if you leave with aldecados, you have maybe a year or two, before dying and leaving them to grieve you. There's not a chance in hell they could get their hands on extremely rare cutting edge tech, or infiltrate the blackwall to steal rogue AIs. If they could, they wouldn't be just nomads and smugglers.
Going beyond the blackwall with rogue AIs means you lose your body, and most likely change, just like ALT has.
The best(?) ending is path of glory. We have no real understanding of what the blue eye man is capable of, but we know he has never seen technology able to mind control people, and he seemingly uses it for good. V has to pull off the heist of a life time (but he's already done so in Arasaka tower), but if he does, the blue eye man promises to save V, which has the best possibility, given their never-before seen tech. This way, he is a legend and still gets to live. . . hopefully.
This ending guarantees V gets to live, and has a good life, as long as he stops playing heroics.
Bruh, I think Alt says you only have 6 months in The Star which makes it worse. But also, there's ambiguity there; maybe you end up finding a cure with the nomads?

I really don't think nomads could be able to cure you, when Arasaka and Alt both failed.

Lmao. Same happened to me. Apparently this only happens if you betray Songbird before the end. All the other 3 options work as intended.
This seems so out of place for cyberpunk. An actual happy ending. I get V is mostly alone now but man it just feels odd things actually worked out for someone

Honestly it really comes down to your outlook. It's easy to play V with an optimistic view of this ending as much as it is to be sad/pessimistic.
And for what it's worth, V's look at the very end at least implies some sort of quiet determination to their new life even if it won't reach the heights of a Night City Legend like they hoped.

LOL V becomes an NPC in this ending. Hard pass.
