Nice mate, editing on point. I dont use Atomic, so I dont know about it, but if you clean with something like Bar Keepers Friend you can skip the whole star san bit, a good clean and the air dry is the most important. I notice you have some deep pitting in the fermenter maybe they needed heavy treatment from the welds? Again though most home brew set ups you can reach with your hands to clean, in commercial breweries they use harsh chemicals because it too hard and too much work to get into everywhere and give it a scrub! Keep up the good videos mate! Cheers!

Thank you, I will use some of this advice in the future. The spot welds do have dimples on each weld point, to be honest I am wandering if the quality of the build is good enough? Possibly is I need to use it more to figger that part out. Cheers

I always wash my Grainfather with a Stellarsan mix before every brew, don’t own a SS fermenter but it’s not far away.

I just wash my new stainless with TSP then rinse and follow up with a rubdown with BarkeepersFriend for stainless. It has acid in it. I like the video it shows how it can be done. 🙂👍🍻

A few people have said they just use barkeepers friend to passivate and nothing else, I will give it ago next time.

I passivate my kettle every year just to be safe using Barkeepers Friend which cleans and passivates as its oxylic acid.
