I bought a psa 9 graded card as a Christmas gift for myself since B I got a really good bonus from work. I would possibly order my mom one if the price comes down. She’s loved Van Gogh since she was little.

i live in the netherlans and it really came to shops last saterday, me and my family stand in line to get a copy, it was easy to score each a copy of this card! no grazieness or something like that, you had to buy pokemon stuff for €30 and you get a copy of the card

Picked one up for 120$ even if it drops to 50$ I’d still be happy with it as I don’t collect for just value alone even if there’s 100k of them there’s tens of millions of fans it’ll still be desirable and eventually crawl back up to 200$ in a few years

Small stores like Bruna / Primera were out of stock quick with only 10/25 copies each. But bigger stores like Intertoys, Top 1 toys, Mediamarkt received like 100 copies each. It was not difficult to get one. Unless you are into say carnaval because that is going on this week/weekend. Anyway: bought myself some Paldean Fates tins, Alakazam / Zapdos box 151 today. Received two copies from two stores, one each. One for myself, one for my little nephew. Price slashes from 100 EUR to 50 EUR now. Makes sense. Still more available in Europe, no extra stock for USA/Japan as of today. It drops now, I am curious if it recovers like the Scream promo

Today was pretty wild in the netherlands, i managed to convince my girlfriend to come and managed to get 9 hopping from store to store.
8 months later and i still haven't seen it less then 70$ now its up 2 110$ just shows you how hard it is to predict the market on anything
you missed the window. there was a good few weeks where it was around $80 after all the restocks kept hitting. My predictions were pretty accurate
