Men from these areas are larger and far more masculine than the rest of Europe. This applies not only to Serbs, but also to Montenegrins, Croats, Bosnians, etc. Wherever I went in Europe, I always felt like a giant with my 185cm and 90 kg, and that is almost the average body size for the former Yugoslavia. People often mistake this kind of opinion for nationalism. Truth is most people in Serbia are very friendly to foreigners but its true that when it comes to relationships we prefer each others ( mostly of course, not all ) also girls are tall indeed in Serbia, so most of them do have much more limited choice than girls in most of the world

well it's one of easier languages to learn, although I wouldn't really say we speak better than natives lol ANnd most older people have no clue about english. But I'll say what I heard just yesterday. We watch foreign programs (mostly in English) without synchronization, just subtitles. That's how we understand because we don't synchronize English language in movies, documentaries or tv shows.

I visited Serbia in 2010 when I returned from Afghanistan my army friends dad live in a small town 1-2 hour from Belgrade. Clean , friendly, traditional and the most welcoming people. We visited my friends dad’s family in the morning his mechanic shop was in his own garden he brought his wife son and daughter to the door to say hello. Then when his wife gave us coffee he got a big bottle with a pear fruit growing inside he poured it we all drank. He pour another 2 . It was like strong vodka! But this man was working not partying! I visited Serbia in 2010 when I returned from Afghanistan my army friends dad live in a small town 1-2 hour from Belgrade.
Clean , friendly, traditional and the most welcoming people.
We visited my friends dad’s family in the morning his mechanic shop was in his own garden he brought his wife son and daughter to the door to say hello.

simple answer...i am a Serbian who live in west europe, and one is for sure..Serbian guys are very modern people who care about moda, about them self. It is only a shame that salaries and money are not so good in Serbia as in west countries. But i completely understand this girls and why they said that.

Serbs understand Serbs and others from the former Yugoslavia. Same language, mentality, habits... that is primarily why. Marrying any foreigner would involve compromises on both sides to accept each other's cultural, religious, and other differences.
