    Hi Jen, Great videos you put out there. I learn so much watching your videos. I love them. You are quite the pro at this. Wonder if you would ever got to a Fred Hall Show here in California. Anyways, I do have a question. What assortment of eyes do you recommend buying if you are just getting started. There are so many types of colors and sizes to choose from that it can be overwhelming to decide what you need to start out. Jettson Lure Eyes and lurepartsonline seem to be the go to sites. Any suggestions on how many, what type, colors, styles. Thank you for what you do. Keep up the great work.

    I have an idea for you,stretch a bunch of rubbrr bands around bait randomly witha base coat of neon color ie orande or yellow then shoot black through the rubber bands see what happens

    Love your work . What was the final color you sprayed over the webbing ? Opaque black or transparent black ?

    • @Jekyll424
      @Jekyll424  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Opaque black. It’s a bit thicker so it doesn’t run underneath the webbing, and at low pressure, is still fairly easy to spray

    • @Jekyll424
      @Jekyll424  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can use a used dryer sheet too. But most Walmart that have a fabric section have the Wonderweb

    I tried to use I think you called it pelin . I got some from walmart but the stuff falls apart when I spray it. Thanks.

    • @Jekyll424
      @Jekyll424  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pellon Wonderweb. Might have been old. Can dry rot if it’s not stored properly. Doesn’t like thinned paint either

    • @Jekyll424
      @Jekyll424  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is Pelon-Wonderweb. Find a fabric store or a Walmart Super Center w a craft section. It’s fusible backing.

    • @Jekyll424
      @Jekyll424  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I refuse to paint knock offs. All Whopper Ploppers are the real deal. My customers either send me the stock they have already, or i include the price of the lure(s) in my invoice. Thanks for watching. Happy holidays and happy casting!

    i just started using clear diamond finish and I love it! i just had a question on the eye rings. do u clean them up after everytjing cures all the way? I waited 24 hours and used a drip pin on the back like u mentioned and everytjing looked great. but when I took out the drip pin and cleaned up the back eye it seemed a little gunky and didn't look very professional. any help would be greatly appreciated!

    My blanks have a hazy bill. Not clear at all. How do I get them clear

    • @Jekyll424
      @Jekyll424  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you dipping or brushing clearcoat on the bills when you seal the lure? If yes, which sealer do you use? If no, dip or brush coating over the whole lure
