As a Boston Celtic fan, I would rather have a starting 5 player who can score 20 points per game, 10 rebounds per game and 10 assists per game every night than have one Superstar player who can score 50 points per game but the other players only score 10 points per game.
That star doesn't need to score 50 every night. He just has to be there in clutch moments. The argument is Tatum isn't clutch... My argument is he doesn't have to be, the guy is surrounded by players who do their job. Makes his life easier...
20-10+10 are some superstar #'s bro. Anyone who wouldn't rather have a guy that gets a triple double EVERY night, over a guy who drops 50 is out of there mind. Your point is like saying I like to drink water rather than dog piss.
Your video is spot-on! I honestly could not, for the life of me, understand how so many pundits and analysts were taking the Mav's in the finals. Unbelievable!
For shock value and clicks they knew what Boston has done and what we are now. They did that for the money because the world loves to hate on the bean 🍀🍀🍀🏆
I refuse to think dynasty until they repeat next season. Another great advantage they have is by being able to spread the workload out amongst all 5 positions it minimises the wear and tear and allows them to carry a healthy team through to the finals. It's absolutely crazy they dont rely on Tingus, when he's on the floor, he just raises the already high bar.
@@TheDON914 exactly. It's very presumptive that they can do it again. As a fan I hope they can and it would blow minds if they could 3peat. They have an excellent core to build around for the next 3 seasons but the league doesn't stay still and will be looking to chase them down. It's been great to see the build year on year though.
Only team I would be remotely close to being scared of in a matchup of seven is the Nuggets as a Celtics fan as we haven't matched up well with them in the past, I hope we can improve our game to ease my doubts
its wild how many people tatum offended. so many people feeling the need to chirp because he isnt cool enough for them i didn't realize other NBA fans were this corny and sad, im glad i grew up in new england
It turns out being really good at basketball isn't enough for basketball fans. You have to have the "right" style and personality to be appreciated. It was the same for Duncan and the Spurs. They were largely too "boring" to be appreciated. Yes, it's very silly.
That’s kinda why I love this team & Tatum in general: he’s a great example of how to be both an excellent NBA player and person/father. I’d much rather have a player like him who knows how to harness the team to everyone’s advantage, knows when to step back and let others shine, than a superstar who acts a specifics way and has a more heliocentric playstyle
"OMG, Tatum just celebrated winning the championship, the greatest accomplishment of his career, in a slightly awkward way. He will never live that down!" Hey guys, I don't think Tatum cares about your memes. He's too busy being successful.
@@backyardbuckets829 Is it cornier then the non-celebration from Jokic last year though? That was....akward. I respect him as a player but can you at least *smile* dude?
They stole that kid at 30th pick he will make an impact 1st season he’s NBA ready . Hes a stone cold assassin shooting the ball. I guarantee he’s a top 5 player in this whole 2024 draft when we look back . He shoots lights out can pass rebound. A robbery at #30
People think it's a funny joke, for some reason. Not sure how long we'll have to hear it. Maybe they think that the joke only gets funnier as he gets older. It's kind of strange.

They also have to win another 60 plus games in the regular season or more , an then repeat an win in the finals again to be considered a dynasty .
dynasty or not you gotta love our team and how we are built. I hope KP is healthier then he is this season tho

Health is their only obstacle. No team can match them.

The hate and disrespect Tatum gets is crazy. Great team player, humble, good father, no dramas and issues on/off the court.
