I'm not saying which is better high fashion or commercial, but I never understood when people compared commercial lingerie/swimwear models to fashion models. Complete different career trajectories and criteria. (Although Naomi and Gisele were both very successful in commercial modeling as well). The commercial girls are never that successful in high fashion.

Back then there was a group of "top 6" who were pretty much equal in terms of fame,work,Etc and they were Cindy,Linda,Christy,Claudia,Naomi and Kate. There was really no "#1" girl who was ruling everything all by herself. Although Cindy and Claudia ruled the covers way more than Naomi did.
