I have never been more disappointed than my test drive of a Tacoma about 8 years ago, every owner of one told me it had a lot of power and how well equipped they we’re , I drove a well optioned Trd, it had a v6 and it was a slow moving truck and the mileage rating for a truck that could not pull a big trailer was terrible, the interior was not impressive for its trim level, I’ve had 3500 diesel that got around what mileage it was rated at, truthfully seems like every time I’m getting held up on hwy 65 in Branson or traveling through curves in that area going to Arkansas I get held up and guess what it usually is, a Toyota, I have a tremor f150, a dodge 3500 with 220 k on it and it’s a better truck gets 22 easy on hwy 18 in town, even better than my tremor, the tremor rides Like a old Cadillac that can stick a corner even if it’s out of shape,, let’s see a tundra with a supercharger with some tow power and fun please
When the Tacoma's curb appeal and reliability returns, I may investigate. Keeping my 23 4 now. P.S. headlights, not only allow for proper roadway illumination, but they also allow your vehicle to be easily visible to other vehicle drivers. Think, what do I see 👀 of not see 🙈 coming my way.
how far does the second dealership have to be for the comparison because over here the toyota and honda dealership are at opposite sites like around 12 to 15 mins far from each other.
Ben..bro, I was so excited for these when they were announced, but it doesn't offer more hp or torque and it's a smaller engine with the same mpg. I think I'll save the 25k and go buy a maverick. More interior space. Very similar hp and they are holding there value pretty well. To bad for toyota.
I have a 24' Tacoma Limited! Mine had Michellin tires on it. I see now Toyota's using General all-season tires. I wonder if that solved the issue with the rear painted fender flares getting all chipped up? Also, you didn't mention some key differences with the 24' Tacoma Limited. They're full-time AWD and can be switched into 4WD, high and low. Their also narrower in the fenders and fender flares. Then they have an Adaptive Variable Suspension. Finally, the Limited has two-piece rims. If you swap those tires to a 6-ply AT tire. Do yourself a favor! Take your Tacoma Limited to a professional rim and tire shop. Those rims are freaking chincy! The tire has to be removed by hand gingerly, or they'll be destroyed by a tire machine. No impact gun either! Or you'll be replacing those rims. They are garbage! It's pretty sad when this model is a premium package. Sad to say, but I Lemon Lawed my Limited. The paint job was sh*t! I returned the vehicle within the first 24 hours. Had the truck back to the dealership 13Xs afterward. The dealership refused to get an actual Toyota Rep involved. In less than 10 days, we'll be in court. The Toyota Rep said, "Toyota doesn't have a problem with buying back the truck. However, the dealership failed to contact Toyota directly. Plus, there's an issue because they sold my trade-in for $37K. They're not eating the entire bill. They failed to reach out to the company, and this was avoidable." When the lawsuit is over! I'll put a link on the 4th Gen Tacoma Forum. Titled, "Why not to buy a 2024 Toyota Tacoma Limited." Because there's more than just paint that were found. final thought, do not believe the Toyota Care BS. Turbo vehicles need their oil changed every 4K.
A 4-cylinder engine in a truck that size? Can you please speak English? Maybe have your grandson help you out explaining what you are trying to say. You are really going bald fast there grandpa! Sorry, but that is too much money for an unreliable Toyota Tacoma with a down-sized engine. Nope, Toyota can shove it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It seems like in almost all your videos you never mention if the visors slide or if the top of the door panel in the front are soft touch or hard plastic or it's shape --nor do you mention if the console is hard plastic or has soft touch. I'm in the market for a new truck and I like to drive with my elbow on on the top door/window sill and lean my knee against the console--I would like these surface to be soft touch but I would almost never know from your videos. Can't you do a test drive at night so we know how effective the headlights are, what the interior lighting is like--IMHO there is defitely roo for improvement in your reviews--just sayin'
Too much chrome, not enough cylinders, way overpriced. I've always respected Toyota until 2024. It's sad to see a manufacturer like Toyota take a turn for the worse. Consumers who care about quality and reliability only have Honda and Mazda products to choose from in today's market.
Rolls-royce's has a V12 not 4 cylinders if I was Toyota I would be giving a free extended warranty away with every truck so maybe that will help them sell them but four-cylinder trucks is not a good idea especially turbo 4 cylinder trucks that's just asking for all kinds of problems down the road. I wouldn't even trust Ford's EcoBoost with turbos. I'm just not a fan of turbos only way I would own one is in a high-end sports car not a daily driver that you depend on to go from point A to point b.
Ben. I really hate seeing that center screen on so many vehicles.. is there a way to turn off completely? I think my eyes focus too much on them while you're doing pov .. I drive a 2010 Kia soul so I have nothing there thankfully. I really can't stand all this tech. Oh and thanks for better thumb nails. No open mouths. It's like sagging your pants 😉
@AlexAlex-gs1xh about 15 years ago or so we couldn't use cell phones due to it being a distraction.... if it's not a distraction to you that's awesome bud. But I've been driving non tech cars my whole life. It's just wheels to get around.
not only is the price insane, but they made it a 4 cylinder........! hard no for me..
Literally no leg room in the backseat, wow

Hi Ben, can you compare the Ram Big Horn Hurricane SO and the Silverado 2.7 Turbo Max?
I need a Tacoma Crew Max. Not enough back leg room here Ben.
$55K is a great deal.
Absolutely love my new Blue Crush Limited.
When the Tacoma's curb appeal and reliability returns, I may investigate.
Keeping my 23 4 now.

Think, what do I see 👀 of not see
🙈 coming my way.
Ridgeline!
Goto bed Ben. 😂
Just saw one of these, also in black and chrome, at a local dealership. Nice looking truck. Too much $ but looks great.
Rolls royce of tacomas☠️☠️☠️

No memory seating?

Less room, Already known transmission issues. Subaru just took over Toyotas long standing #1 reliability rating for manufacturers. No thanks.
Hubcaps, you did not say rims lol. POS so get a Corolla with hubcaps

2025 Toyota Tacoma is a good looking truck to go everywhere you want to go

Ranger Raptor is a much better deal with 130 more HP's

2025 Toyota Tacoma Limited Double Cab Half Cab 4X4!
Good review ben.. this truck is over priced
👎🏻
Too much chrome for me
Chrome wheels? Are we going back to 2010…Overpriced with an unproven drivetrain…
Good review, as always. Man oh man, the chrome bits are ugly AF; same with the wheels. But that's just my opinion; chacun à son goût.
