That was amazing Ethan. Yes they had dishwashers in the 70’s😂 Loved that fireplace. The wood burning one was beautiful. I bet that property was also beautiful before they destroyed it. What a shame
Ethan, I swear you never cease to amaze me. You truly are an old soul. I admit I was a little surprised when you said that the house reminded you of the Brady Bunch house. But when you mentioned you thought it began in the 1969, I was blown away. I was born in 1964 and although I grew up watching it, my best guess would be late sixties/ early seventies.

I love the entire look of this amazing original retro inside and out! So many great seventies styles in there, definitely seems like Italian or European influenced style, the exterior as well. My favorite features were the awesome curved fireplaces, and the cool bar, and the red tub (although that would not have been my color of choice)that entire space with the sauna was fantastic! Cool adventure 😎🤟✌️

IN 1979, I bought a microwave from Montgomery Ward for 499.00 on sale. It was 699.00. It had a huge cavity. It had cooking cards with strips that the microwave would read to instruct on settings, times, and turning over, etc. I roasted a turkey in there. It had a meat probe, too. Eventually, we just heated coffee and frozen food. Had it for 15 years. It still worked when I got rid of it but it took up too much space. When I was in college in 1974, I worked the Summer at LItton Microwave. Employees could get microwaves at a discount for 350.00.

This fire place is Wow indeed another beautiful and unique shape, interesting house with several levels I like the dark skirting and door trim with pleasant pale pastel coloured walls upstairs, parkee floors every where. Thanks Ethan another great find.
Hi Ethan, such a wonderful house, I really like the tiles in the front entrance, I think maybe the cabinets in the bathroom may be original but the cupboards in the kitchen look very 80 s to me,only because I had cabinets like that. Thank you so very much,, wonderful
Thank you so much im from the 70s we had nice homes . all original that 1 light came from the 60s . I love this home looks close to a home we rented back in the early 80s .
Ethan yes this is a Brady Bunch home that’s for sure and it was a very nice home. It’s just too bad and very oh so sad.😮😢. Thank you for sharing. Take care and be safe.🫶🏻❤️🤠
I was in high school in 1992 .lets get into this Ethan .i can tell this is going to be a great house 🏠🏠❤ I think the kitchen has a good structure bones and the design of the house it looks like it could be easily put in your cabinets and you know I always like to visualize new stuff in there where the old stuff was and this house looks easily just just revamped I'd keep everything except just put new modern stuff in there.. the mirrors on the sliding doors in the closet we had those in our ranch home that was totally late 80s early 90s kind of look the mirrors were so big in the closets and on the walls 🧱❤ parquet floors all the way.
Love this house. The town I grew up in had homes 100 yrs. Old +. When I drive in my old neighborhood so many of the beautiful homes I visited in my childhood destroyed and the cookie cutter huge homes in their place. So many beautiful old homes ,with personality gone. It's depressing.
Wow it looks like the house I grew up in. My parents had velvet wallpaper, blue tile, same kitchen appliances and best of all leather temperature controls .
As a smoke detector collector I have spotted yet another vintage gem..........a Westclox Smoke Signal from what I can see and wow what a house for 1979!!! Has it been demolished yet??
@@ethanminnie Cool, What happens to the contents of the house if they are still good and not harmed by mold??? Honestly I would hate to see those smoke detectors end up in a landfill!!!
Yeah I didn’t know anyone that had a microwave in 79. Who has a basement then another basement then another basement. Here in the states I haven’t seen 1 house like that but it’s cool love the wood in this house
Wow I love this house! It’s very spacious & I love the wood work plus its original vibe going on! Awesome video Ethan! ❤️👍🤘
Ethan you never have a bad video. This house was amazing. Thanks for sharing 😊 Keep up the great work and curiosity. ❤🎉
Ethan, this home was very large and very retro. Back in the day, this home must have been beautiful. Thank you, freat home. ❤

1979, that seems like last week. I loved the 70’s. Houses were basic yet comfortable.

A very nice home with an unusual floor plan! Well built but neglect has taken its toll. Another one bites the dust! Sad.
This one was really cool! Thank you Ethan! So glad it wasn’t flooded. Some of the hanging lights were so cool, that kitchen one so amazing.
Boy, nothing was changed in this place! How very cool! Thank you Ethan!

Hello Ethan
What an awesome tri level old home!
See you next 😊
Love this house, thank you for showing us
Hi Ethan
This was a cool one. It’s a shame that they will demolish this house. It seems to
be common place in Canada that if a house is vacant some developer comes along
and demolishes it. It’s a huge house. Love the 3 levels down. Just a cool place.
Stay safe and well.👍🆒

Looks like it was a fun house to live in.
I remember these styles while I was junior high and high school.
IN 1979, I bought a microwave from Montgomery Ward for 499.00 on sale. It was 699.00. It had a huge cavity. I didn't know anyone with a dishwasher or microwave in 1979. Probably have to have some money. Nice house

226 tabs & 2 browsers open 😂but i took a chance i'd be able to watch it without freezing and wow was it worth it! This one is top to bottom AWESOME and a true time warp!! The surprise downstairs was fun and unexpected too. This was a fantastic find, Ethan! Take care and have a great night! 😊
I would have a house like this today if I could it's amazing

My husband and I were married in 79. You are right about everything so far. The cabinet, stove, dishwasher. Yes we had those back then. Lol
I like it more than modern homes. Modern homes all look the same.
Great video.
Yup 45 years ago that was somebody’s dream kitchen 5:49 oh those green countertops 14:12 20:58 skid loader parked in the garage 😮
Hi Ethan!❤
Nice 🏠
These type of split levels are my FAVORITE kind of house. Thanks for finding yet another.
Glad you enjoyed!
This is a really nice house.
I love your enthusiasm for the house Ethan. 😊.
Mmmmm interesting 🤔🧐❤❤
My 1979 house has those same intercoms/ Nutone system. It was really cool to hear music in all the rooms. My husband blew it out by connecting our stereo system to it. Great video.
I would live in this house
I love the kitchen. Particular the cabinets. The cooktop looks like it was put in backwards.
I think this has to be one of yiur best Ethan!
I dont know where to begin. I think kitchens have to be my favorites. In this one, I like the cabinets and ceiling. I like the location of the cooktop and oven.
Upstairs. I like the lighting fixtures and flooring. I tend to like the herringbone pattern of parquet.
Lower level. I liked the cabinets in the laundry room. I agree with you on the bar. By the marks it left on the floor, I think was meant to swing out the way.
Like I said in the beginning, I think this has to be one of my favorites and your best so far. Congratulations on the number of subs. Been watching since the pandemic.
Im sorry if this is was confusing. I thought it was going to ethan.
CONGRATULATIONS love ya Ethan you stay safe enjoy outdoor exploring. Peace out
I have the dark oak cabinets as well. My apartment was built in the same decade. Love it!
This fire place is Wow indeed another beautiful and unique shape, interesting house with several levels I like the dark skirting and door trim with pleasant pale pastel coloured walls upstairs, parkee floors every where. Thanks Ethan another great find.
Dudeeeee, this house is getting it timeless, it was a great year in the decade.
So many aspects of this home remind of my grandparents home that I grew up in ❤
Love the retro lights and tile floor.

What a swanky 70s house built for entertaining! I bet the Christmas parties there must've been the talk of the entire block! What a great house!
Love this house. The town I grew up in had homes 100 yrs. Old +. When I drive in my old neighborhood so many of the beautiful homes I visited in my childhood destroyed and the cookie cutter huge homes in their place. So many beautiful old homes ,with personality gone. It's depressing.
I'd say it's leatherette on that thermostat. Great video. Thanks
Has it been demolished yet??
not demolished yet.
@@ethanminnie Cool, What happens to the contents of the house if they are still good and not harmed by mold??? Honestly I would hate to see those smoke detectors end up in a landfill!!!
I saw a dishwasher from 1953 in a museum today. I had a friend whose family had a top loading dishwasher. That was 1966.
Tile def Italian!
The sand was put done to have stepping stones for patio for fancy walkways, fountain ⛲.., if you look you can see lines in circular in it😊
Very nice house .. ❤
Ethan this house was amazing
How did they drive that
bull dozer into the garage?
those doors don’t look wide.
good job exploring Ethan. 😃
Nice 👍🏼
Yeah I didn’t know anyone that had a microwave in 79. Who has a basement then another basement then another basement. Here in the states I haven’t seen 1 house like that but it’s cool love the wood in this house
I love this house. I can imagine how cool I could make it with the money to fix it up and put furniture in it. I hate to see it torn down.
Kitchen was smaller than I expected
