@@JCharlesTheSimplestBiz He's literally grabbing and hauling empty wooden pallets? I came here looking into how to get pallets of liquidated goods (like returned or open box electronics) and then breaking those down into individual items and selling them places like ebay. Normally I thought people had to pay a couple hundred or thousands of $'s for these items in bulk, not be given to them or thrown away.
Is that not what this is? This video is about literally selling empty wooden pallets? wtf
them thick boys
The goal we should cut the use of these product in the first place
I guess that's one benefit of the flipping business - it reuses the pallets instead of requiring new ones to get made all the time.
I believe 90 percent of pallets are recycled. But to your point 60 percent of lumber is used for pallets
Lumber is a renewable resource.
@@NickLoper a huge majority of pallets are one time use ( food , medical etc.) Thats why there is an endless supply. Tens of thousands of brand new get produced every day to fill those needs.
In getting interested in this because i do it with my uncle as a sude hustle
What do you do with the repairable and the unrepairables if you take them all and are mixed in?
You can repair every pallet that can be repair and with the unrepairables you can remove all the parts and keeps only the good ones
Is there a market for plastic pallets?
There is a market for sure
What's up with the obsession with pallots....there is a company in my city...maybe I'll ask them how to start with this
My guess is they're just a product readily available that companies either need for their shipping or need to get rid of.
Do we just call up every shop in town and ask if they are getting rid of pallets? And how do we find people to buy the pallets. How much should we sell them for?
Yes. Just call, even drive to location.
Thanks this was my question and the answer I needed💯💪🏽 blessings
@@RelaxedHumanBeings hey joe how is it going? I’m looking to finance a f150 maybe a 2016 with around 135,000 miles. I can buy a trailer too. So who do we call how do at sell?! Any help?!
@@imrelentless9577 call local business (petsmart walmart target etc) to see if their giving away pallets or a local warehouse but sometimes they make you pay $1 a pallet sometimes
@@RelaxedHumanBeings ok and where do we sell them to lol
Dunnage is folded up boxes
Dunnage are actually 4x8 or 4x4 pieces of lumber to prop up long items on a flatbed so forklift can get under and lift.
Do you need dot numbers to do this?
No you do not
The only way they will guard them is if u give them money.its hard making money doing pallets
Why wouldn't the places that need the pallets just go get them for free? I mean if there are hundreds just laying around, it would be cheaper to have a truck and a low wage kid to go get them.I'm not buyin it
It definitely would be cheaper, and my guess it comes down the focus of their business and how closely concerned they are with what they probably consider a byproduct - not core to the operation. I think you’re right to be skeptical though, and through conversations with these companies I imagine you’ll get a sense for their existing processes.
You’ve never dealt with employing low wage kids have you? It’s better to pay for the convenience and focus on higher earning activities
@@jerbear7952 kids arent that stupid
@@iOWNyouFOOLaskYOmama It seems like he wasn't saying kids are stupid. It sounds like you can use your employees time to keep them focused on making you money in your core business and not going in too many directions and lose focus 🙏

what im seeing there is no pallet yards close by the closest are like 100 mi.
Nuts!
Deal directly with businesses- no need for a pallet yard.
I just started this today.and I picked up 38 pallets, what's the best price if I'll sell 150 pallets to someone
I heard like $2 a pallet but I'm not sure though
Depends where you live. Some places $2, some where demand is higher $6 is highest I've heard
what happened?
Any update on how it went? How much did you end up selling them for?
I still have them im going to drop them off once a month I will let you know when the month end I have about 3 week left.

@Henry Jackson I saw another video about him on JT Hustler. And he actually mention the price.
This is hard work lift move stack unstack move dropoff its physically demanding and hard on the back better find some young strong help trouble is theyre not going to do this for min wage. Even with a forklift and pallet jacks you still have to mess with them. Move 50 - 100 plus a day pickup and drop off for a week it will beat you up. Youll need lot of good help and pay them well - its just like moving furniture.. Hope your help shows back up next day,
@@RawDeneWar some people can't walk or lift I understand his point of view and your good for you as well if you can do it
I am 54 years old... I do not lift these products. I show you how to have fork lift drivers fighting to load your truck or trailer. Yeah this is / can be "back break" work....especially if you already pull a shift somewhere....you practically have to offer business shares to someone for them to continue to be interested
Who does he sell to that he gets five or six dollars profit
he sells directly to the company in need... look at the average pallet cost for companies
Exactly, most are de-nails at $1 each!!!

Only if you're selling them to the recycling place. Companies NEED pallets, several of them. All you have to do is undercut the company's pallet supplier.
@@EkMane707 That is just a race to the bottom. Then the next guy will undercut you and so on.
I got palet sell to you for 2 dolla
18:10 what’s a refractory?
Refractory refers to heat-resistant materials, so my understanding is John's supplier in this case is a manufacturer of those materials.
A nuisance for the business to just haul the pallets to the pallet yard themselves he says in the beginning....?????! For the money he is claiming the pallet yard paid him for the pallets the business could just hire a PT employee to make those runs for them every day for minimum wage.... This doesn't add up.
Did you take the simplest biz training course?
I haven't.
I did take the training and can share. palletguy8@gmail.com
