I got it for $15 and put in about 35 hours and enjoyed my time with it. Felt well worth it for that price point. Fun game to play with a podcast on and just complete some open world activities.
I picked it up on sale a few weeks ago and completed it, I actually really liked it. The gameplay and story both clicked with me and I don't think I encountered any bugs. It's s shame it released in a bad state but I think it's worth giving it a shot.
I also picked it up half price phsical disc edition steel tin, and enjoyed the actual game also, perhaps on day 1 it played poorly but my own expierince was crash free from start to end, xbox series x
@@Stealthcastlandon the twist was something I wish didn’t happen, but I won’t lie I actually like the different scenes with each character. Especially Red Hood! It’s kinda like closure for them, coming into their own as Gotham’s protectors now they know FOR SURE that Bruce is dead.

It was never a bad game really, it's decent. My issue with it is how it was obviously build around coop, because of this the missions are made to be playable with any of the character which make them feel a bit dull and less personal, it clearly affects the writing.
especially when you get the 4 going "We'll suit up and take out X" Then it cuts to just you on solo. "Oh ok so no Robin or Bat Wahman as back up? Ok then...."
Personally on my own I probably wouldn’t play it ,but getting the platinum and progressing with my friend really made it quite fun and help us overlook a lot of the shortcomings of the game especially online latency issues we had
Couple of months ago I started playing AC Odyssey. It was my first AC game, and as I was playing it, I realized what Gotham Knights was going for and where it fell short. In GN, The narrative, the exploration, the interaction with NPCs, the crafting, the suits, the mods… the whole thing just falls short conceptually compared to something executed as excellently as Odyssey. There’s no patch that can fix it.
picked it up for 20$, honest review, i feel like the story, gameplay mechanics and the diversity, is really good, some of the activities in the open world are repetitive, but highly addictive, which blocks it out, i’m not even out of case two and i am enjoying it so much by just the collecting side stuff and doing all the contact and drone scan misson’s, really fun game, i don’t know why people hate on it, sure it is nothing like an arkham game, sure it wasn’t what we expected, but it’s still an amazing game, is it worth 60 dollars, i’d say so, just happy enough to have bought this game when it was cheap.
It was on sale on Steam and my cousin gifted this to me for my bday and we were instantly hooked.If you're not meticulous on graphics and just wanted to have fun, then I highly recommend this game. Especially if you're into Batman characters. Truly underrated game.

Wb chasing trends like battlepass, aggressive microtransations, forsaking single player experience for forced multiplayer has destroyed them as a publisher. Was really looking forward to Suicide Squad, Multiversus…. Mortal kombat 1. Not touching any of these anytime soon now and these games will all age badly since they rely on online elements.

Agree! I have enough of people trying to make Nightwing into a brooding emo. (looking at you Titans show) I the comics he is a dork. Yes, he can be serious, and professional, but most of the time he is friendly, and funny. I think the characterization of Nightwing is the closest to his canon counterpart, than any iteration we got so far.

@@CM11l True, but to UPedits point... if you're going to have a game set in the Batman universe and not have it star Batman, you're going to need some serious story elements to help carry it, as well as a very robust gameplay loop with high-quality combat and exploration to compensate. For instance, I like Assassins Creed 3 more than Arkham City only because I found the combat more diverse (I was playing both games around the same time), and so in AC3 they let you mix-and-match your gadgets/weapons on the digital pad, and they actually designed the game so that Connor had transitional animations for practically EVERY gadget and weapon combination. So nearly 40 hours in and I was still experimenting with these takedowns/combos that made the game feel super fun. Gotham Knights going with a banal combat system and doing nothing new or unique basically meant that people coming off of the Arkham trilogy weren't getting anything worthwhile, especially if it lacked the one thing they liked a lot about the trilogy: Batman.

I heavily disagree. They feel like what WB Montreal thinks the young people of today are like, like caricatures, and they are barely fleshed out. I never for once believed that any of this was serious, it felt cartoonish to me.
It's a great game on discount. 6 and 7 of 10s aren't bad. They just aren't game of the year. It's essentially do you want 2 really good games, and that's all. Or 2 really good games, and 3 or 4 mid games
The game still operating at 30fps. In this day and age that's absolutely unacceptable for modern consoles. They need to quit focusing on 4k and focus on hitting solid 1080p 60 at the bare minimum
you can increase environment density, which really fills up the city, plus there is no denuvo they removed it way back, in hopes of improving performance

I've really been enjoying the game. I'm glad I didn't listen to negative people and experienced the game for myself because at the end of the day, all that matters is if you're having fun while playing a game
I got the game on PC in November 2022 and I think CO-OP is what makes this game very fun! My brother and I have logged over 300 hrs of play on Steam and I'll be honest, I notice many people haven't played it in Co-op. Co-op is where this game shines! The combat style is completely different from Arkham and from the reviews I have seen, that is were the complaint is. But once you slow down and take time to do the training in the Belfry, you will be up to speed. I noticed this review did not talk about Co-op at all... hmmm... when the game goes on sale, get it for you and a friend... you'll love it.

I do not think this game is for everyone... mostly for fans of Batgirl and Nightwing. If you like those characters as a kid, then you'll enjoy this game and like I said, if you enjoy co-op games, give it a try. I got it on sale on black Friday last year. I am just glad I have someone to co-op with.
Luke is such an honest person. Charming, respectful, brutally honest but also quirky in a very good way, This guy doesn't get enough credit by any means and is probably amongst the few that are keeping certain aspects of gaming 'traditions' alive almost single handedly. It's hard to not watch every video and hell, I don't even know half the games you upload videos on but I will watch them anyways because the way you bring up topics and various characteristics of each game is so fascinating and so worth the time spent in watching them. Arguably one of the best and brightest youtubers out there!
I bought it for 30 bucks and enjoyed it. It can be cheesy and cringy at times and it doesn’t come close to the Arkham series but if you can get it fairy cheap then it’s pretty good. My biggest issue to be honest was they really cut Red Hoods balls off.
Oh yeah definitely underrated. Not perfect but so nice to see devs trying something. Did buy it on a sale or might even have gotten the key for free somehow, but I enjoyed playing it.

It’s totally worth 40-50 hours of good combat fun. I can’t see myself doing more then maybe 2 playthroughs though.. the gear is super simplified.. maybe if it was a bit more fleshed out with the gear and builds system I would get some more fun out of it but the combat alone is preeeetty fun once it gets flowing. Batgirl is super fun to…play…with…. Also… 😎
Your money is porbably better spent on a game like Mad Max, which is actually fun, is highly replayable, and still breathtakingly gorgeous (it runs really really really well at 4K even on a mid-tier system, too). EDIT: Also, some people suggesting Vampyr is a good option for those who like open-world beat-'em-up games with RPG-driven story mechanics.
@@bwhere45 Nope, it just gives you an ending fitting your gameplay style. If you want a certain ending you have to play a certain way. I like games like that much more than everyone getting a participation trophy. Vampyr is punishing if you play like it's Call of Duty. It's rewarding if you play it like it's Splinter Cell. More games need that.
I really think Luke didn't even gave a chance to the combat. He never even noticed, that you can have different playstyles, and builds, depending on the gear set bonuses. You're gonna get a different playstyle from a Momentum spam Nightwing build, than from a critical hit/elemental/healer/stealth, or from support build. Also, all of the max leveled Knights have very unique playstyles, and movesets. None of the characters will be able to ping pong between enemies like Nightwing, with his very mobile, fast playstyle. Batgirls's brutality, and single target damage, and her survivability is unmatched. She is almost unkillable. Red Hood's range damage, and crowd control is very unique, and it's very fun to blow up your enemies. Combining Robin's elemental, and stealth abilities to weave in and out of the shadows is very fun. I love ambushing my enemies. The problem is that GK plays like an RPG. Your characters are weak initially, and it takes a lots of time to unlock everything. But once you did unlock everything, the combat opens up, and it gives you a lots of fun, entertaining moments.
Saying Vampyr was buggy at launch is like saying Cyberpunk 2077 literally infected your PC with a Decepticon virus, transforming it into a ninja warrior toaster and killing your entire family. The game released fine. It did have some more "old-timey" mechanics but it was the studios' third game ever (Don't Nod Entertainment). Its biggest and most ambitious yet at that time, in a line of games that puts more emphasis on storytelling, worldbuilding, writing and characters than actual gameplay. Games like Vampyr are important to this industry. We need more studios actually taking risks and creating new and original IPs EVEN IF they have to take the chance of not having the same graphical fidelity, animation quality, and overall technology of the top-of-the-industry studios of the same year. Which in Vampyr's case, in 2018, would've been Santa Monica's God of War, Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption 2, Insomniac's Spider-Man, etc. To basically sweep them to the side because they don't look like those AAA+ games, and that they should only be purchased when they're $20-$30, is to discourage these studios from doing anything at all. It's to straight up kill them before they can ever even grow in size and invest in quality enough to be able to BECOME a superstar studio like those aforementioned ones. You should do better to not just understand this reality but also pass it on to your viewers. It's important for a studio to deliver quality but it's also important for us to properly value what we have because at this point, many of those "superstar" studios are delivering crap for the even more than 60 bucks now and nobody bats an eye, but a smaller starving studio with new original ideas DARES to price their unconventional game at market price and people say it's not worth it... Despite liking the product... What? 😅
I just finished the game on the PS5, and it’s not a bad game but it’s also not great. I love the suit customization, playing as the Knights, etc, but the glaring issues and lack of more Batman villains, just keep holding it back. I feel like - had there been actual, good story DLC (Black Mask, Two Face, Jane Doe or even like Anarky or Magpie), this would’ve been eligible for a sequel.
I can really appreciate the dialogue of "6-7/10 games' value" still having a place, when priced correctly. I wanted this game to be great, despite it having a huge standard to live up to. Rocksteady is monolithic compared to WB games' potential. When working at a games store during release last year cashing people out for their $90 steelbook edition, it stung really bad having to fake praise the game, my manager standing right behind me. Awesome and informative video!

having problems with legendary gear not dropping for my main but dropping just fine for a character that I just started using my my ability to use a stealth takedown fluctuating.
Honestly imo, when a game released on a "not good" condition, there will be no fix that can fix it totally. Let's say for examples, AC: Unity and Cyberpunk 2077. By any means those two are not bad games, but still until now I feel "janky" on some parts. It's like the feeling of something is not even polished.
I've been waiting to play Gotham Knights since it launched but held back hoping for patches to fix the game. For some reason the price would never drop except on those key reseller sites. Then Steam slashed the price to just 17 USD for the base game and 23 USD for the Deluxe game. I couldn't pass it up for that price so here I am seeing if the game is at least playable now.

The game needed a good balance of missions your required to be a certain character and missions for anyone. Voice acting would probably sound better and you could get a better story out of it. other than that I’m loving it
Watching Nightwings acrobatic animations and air time with jumps just makes me so annoyed they gave him a glider that totally makes his unique traversal obsolete.
Honestly, the only thing I liked about about this game was the intro. The fight between Ra's and Batman was so amazing. The music, cinematography, and dialog were all the best part of this game. Now that I think about it, that's kinda 😱
i picked it up on steam for $20, playing it in triple 4k surround locked at 60fps on my 5950x/3080ti and actually really enjoying it. It's not Arkham Asylum, but it's a fun game.
I just want 60 FPS and for them to make the speed effect an option to turn on and off.. the speed triangles on edge of the screen while using grapple and driving
I think the biggest mistake with this game is that everyone expected an Arkham game even tho we were contantly reminded that this would not be like an Arkham game and yet no one wanted to listen which led to everyone's inevitable disappointment
I do believe that expecting that is wrong, but at the same time, is it completely unwarranted? It is an “open world” DC game with characters from the Batman mythos. They both have combat and stealth, open world activities, crimes to solve, and stories to tell. It did not need to be Arkham 2.0 but with the Knights, it just needed to be a better overall game than a game that was released nearly a decade ago.
Still waiting for a fix.. Game Braking Bug that was not yet addressed. Enemies spawn inside the door where you can't enter, and are impossible to kill.. Around half hour grinding to get to that floor, but it happens every time. Sometimes this last npc spawns in a different door, but it's impossible to continue. Doesn't happen so often in multiplayer, but I can only play alone so, tough luck..
Didn’t mind the gameplay or the skill trees or even its performance although teleporting around with Robin at launch felt awful. Nothing will ever make me forget the disappointment of that last mission though, of getting to the end of game and turning to my brother and going “That’s it? That’s how the story ends?” Really wish this game had been well-written
Love the story. It’s really amazing to play with Batgirl, they really capture her relationship with her dad and all. I found this game really immersive. Love this game.
If you need a "roadmap" to plan your fun I think the game already failed, like it's important to know if it's getting updates but the game seriously needs a major overhaul before a roadmap is even feasible
People tend to believe average is equivalent to being bad. Hence why Ubisoft is hated so much. But the game had a legacy to live up to and that most likely raised people’s expectations. The game also suffered from performance issues and had a locked 30fps for seemingly no reason. It’s not pushing visuals or any tech for that matter. That’s the main reason I’ll never buy it. I don’t mind 30 fps but unless you are pushing the boundary in one form or another I’m not interested. Or what I’m playing on is weaker hardware like the switch. The XboxX and PS5 are not that weak to play a game that looks like it came out in 2016.

That's how I felt about Watch Dogs. I played through that game for a weekend for $10 and had a geuinine good time, but if I had spent $60 for it at launch i would have been pissed lol
Replayed it recently and finished it in few days, i liked it but i really wish it had more gameplay variety and better story pacing. It all seemed over the place.
I am skeptical about this game. The graphics look great, but the whole game? Leaves me thinking about whether I should wait more time for it,or just leave it be. Right now at the PlayStation store, it’s 23.09, 67% off.
The thing for me is that, one of Red Hood's outfits (the one inspired by Batman under the Red Hood animated movie) has the jacket thats pretty janky and its just disappointing cause one outfit that i thought looked awesome, turned out to be pretty buggy.
Could you revisit "Dying Light 2", it's had a few great updates and it has a dlc with another on the way this month. Also I feel that you were quite harsh in some aspects (such as the slow paraglider, it was only slow because you didn't upgrade it)
It feels soulless compared to AK imo. The dodge is ok, but it's missing the counters. Batbike feels slow. Game is boring. BUT... if you're REALLY itching for some hero action. It will suffice.
You ask if it's ever been fixed, I say it's never been broken. I enjoyed it since day one. Not a favorite game I'd say, but never felt broken to me or unenjoyable

Bought it a month ago for my PS5, really enjoyed it Viewing it as an AC type of game but Gotham themed made such a huge difference of enjoyment. Really liked it. The random crimes, the suits/weapons status effects and the city are the stellar for me. Story wise was okay I guess, wasn't a mind breaking game. It's generally fun, recommended buying the standard edition, deluxe ain't worth it.

I'm just sad they included coop but only 1 person appears in cutscenes and if you aren't the host you're basically a spectator. You can't interact with most objectives and even doors.
May e Redfall is taking a page out of no man's sky and going radio silence to avoid getting distracted so they can fix the game? Probably not but MAYBE...

It was never prestige, but WB Games became a terrible publisher sometime between Arkham Knight and this.

Agree! I have enough of people trying to make Nightwing into a brooding emo. (looking at you Titans show) I the comics he is a dork. Yes, he can be serious, and professional, but most of the time he is friendly, and funny.
I think the characterization of Nightwing is the closest to his canon counterpart, than any iteration we got so far.

@@CM11l True, but to UPedits point... if you're going to have a game set in the Batman universe and not have it star Batman, you're going to need some serious story elements to help carry it, as well as a very robust gameplay loop with high-quality combat and exploration to compensate.
For instance, I like Assassins Creed 3 more than Arkham City only because I found the combat more diverse (I was playing both games around the same time), and so in AC3 they let you mix-and-match your gadgets/weapons on the digital pad, and they actually designed the game so that Connor had transitional animations for practically EVERY gadget and weapon combination.
So nearly 40 hours in and I was still experimenting with these takedowns/combos that made the game feel super fun. Gotham Knights going with a banal combat system and doing nothing new or unique basically meant that people coming off of the Arkham trilogy weren't getting anything worthwhile, especially if it lacked the one thing they liked a lot about the trilogy: Batman.
If you like Jason, then no, Jason was not right in this game. Like at all. If you think Jason’s characterization was done right, then you like the batfamily, not Jason
I heavily disagree. They feel like what WB Montreal thinks the young people of today are like, like caricatures, and they are barely fleshed out. I never for once believed that any of this was serious, it felt cartoonish to me.
It's a great game on discount. 6 and 7 of 10s aren't bad. They just aren't game of the year. It's essentially do you want 2 really good games, and that's all. Or 2 really good games, and 3 or 4 mid games
The game still operating at 30fps. In this day and age that's absolutely unacceptable for modern consoles. They need to quit focusing on 4k and focus on hitting solid 1080p 60 at the bare minimum
you can increase environment density, which really fills up the city, plus there is no denuvo they removed it way back, in hopes of improving performance

I got the game on PC in November 2022 and I think CO-OP is what makes this game very fun! My brother and I have logged over 300 hrs of play on Steam and I'll be honest, I notice many people haven't played it in Co-op. Co-op is where this game shines! The combat style is completely different from Arkham and from the reviews I have seen, that is were the complaint is. But once you slow down and take time to do the training in the Belfry, you will be up to speed. I noticed this review did not talk about Co-op at all... hmmm... when the game goes on sale, get it for you and a friend... you'll love it.

I do not think this game is for everyone... mostly for fans of Batgirl and Nightwing. If you like those characters as a kid, then you'll enjoy this game and like I said, if you enjoy co-op games, give it a try. I got it on sale on black Friday last year. I am just glad I have someone to co-op with.
Luke is such an honest person. Charming, respectful, brutally honest but also quirky in a very good way, This guy doesn't get enough credit by any means and is probably amongst the few that are keeping certain aspects of gaming 'traditions' alive almost single handedly. It's hard to not watch every video and hell, I don't even know half the games you upload videos on but I will watch them anyways because the way you bring up topics and various characteristics of each game is so fascinating and so worth the time spent in watching them. Arguably one of the best and brightest youtubers out there!
At less than 10 bucks, I will think about buying this, but most likely I won't, because I would definitely have a better time replaying Arkham Asylum.
Never played this game but wow did that motorcycle seem very very slow. Even with the wind effects it seemed like slow motion.

I bought it for 30 bucks and enjoyed it. It can be cheesy and cringy at times and it doesn’t come close to the Arkham series but if you can get it fairy cheap then it’s pretty good. My biggest issue to be honest was they really cut Red Hoods balls off.

It’s totally worth 40-50 hours of good combat fun. I can’t see myself doing more then maybe 2 playthroughs though.. the gear is super simplified.. maybe if it was a bit more fleshed out with the gear and builds system I would get some more fun out of it but the combat alone is preeeetty fun once it gets flowing. Your money is porbably better spent on a game like Mad Max, which is actually fun, is highly replayable, and still breathtakingly gorgeous (it runs really really really well at 4K even on a mid-tier system, too).
EDIT: Also, some people suggesting Vampyr is a good option for those who like open-world beat-'em-up games with RPG-driven story mechanics.
@@bwhere45 Nope, it just gives you an ending fitting your gameplay style. If you want a certain ending you have to play a certain way. I like games like that much more than everyone getting a participation trophy. Vampyr is punishing if you play like it's Call of Duty. It's rewarding if you play it like it's Splinter Cell. More games need that.
I really think Luke didn't even gave a chance to the combat. He never even noticed, that you can have different playstyles, and builds, depending on the gear set bonuses. You're gonna get a different playstyle from a Momentum spam Nightwing build, than from a critical hit/elemental/healer/stealth, or from support build.
Also, all of the max leveled Knights have very unique playstyles, and movesets. None of the characters will be able to ping pong between enemies like Nightwing, with his very mobile, fast playstyle. Batgirls's brutality, and single target damage, and her survivability is unmatched. She is almost unkillable. Red Hood's range damage, and crowd control is very unique, and it's very fun to blow up your enemies. Combining Robin's elemental, and stealth abilities to weave in and out of the shadows is very fun. I love ambushing
my enemies.
The problem is that GK plays like an RPG. Your characters are weak initially, and it takes a lots of time to unlock everything. But once you did unlock everything, the combat opens up, and it gives you a lots of fun, entertaining moments.
The devs didn't even want to make Redfall let alone be asked to fix it.
Saying Vampyr was buggy at launch is like saying Cyberpunk 2077 literally infected your PC with a Decepticon virus, transforming it into a ninja warrior toaster and killing your entire family.
The game released fine. It did have some more "old-timey" mechanics but it was the studios' third game ever (Don't Nod Entertainment). Its biggest and most ambitious yet at that time, in a line of games that puts more emphasis on storytelling, worldbuilding, writing and characters than actual gameplay.
Games like Vampyr are important to this industry. We need more studios actually taking risks and creating new and original IPs EVEN IF they have to take the chance of not having the same graphical fidelity, animation quality, and overall technology of the top-of-the-industry studios of the same year. Which in Vampyr's case, in 2018, would've been Santa Monica's God of War, Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption 2, Insomniac's Spider-Man, etc.
To basically sweep them to the side because they don't look like those AAA+ games, and that they should only be purchased when they're $20-$30, is to discourage these studios from doing anything at all. It's to straight up kill them before they can ever even grow in size and invest in quality enough to be able to BECOME a superstar studio like those aforementioned ones.
You should do better to not just understand this reality but also pass it on to your viewers.
It's important for a studio to deliver quality but it's also important for us to properly value what we have because at this point, many of those "superstar" studios are delivering crap for the even more than 60 bucks now and nobody bats an eye, but a smaller starving studio with new original ideas DARES to price their unconventional game at market price and people say it's not worth it... Despite liking the product... What? 😅

I just finished the game on the PS5, and it’s not a bad game but it’s also not great. I love the suit customization, playing as the Knights, etc, but the glaring issues and lack of more Batman villains, just keep holding it back. I feel like - had there been actual, good story DLC (Black Mask, Two Face, Jane Doe or even like Anarky or Magpie), this would’ve been eligible for a sequel.
I’m still waiting for a Wanted:Dead update. On their Twitter they keep saying “new update coming soon”….
I played through the game twice and it’s just hard to get back into it when there’s nothing to do in the end.
I can really appreciate the dialogue of "6-7/10 games' value" still having a place, when priced correctly. I wanted this game to be great, despite it having a huge standard to live up to. Rocksteady is monolithic compared to WB games' potential. When working at a games store during release last year cashing people out for their $90 steelbook edition, it stung really bad having to fake praise the game, my manager standing right behind me. having problems with legendary gear not dropping for my main but dropping just fine for a character that I just started using my my ability to use a stealth takedown fluctuating.
I enjoyed it after trying it again in March on a 4090. Just mainlined the story like I usually do though, never cared about live service shit
Honestly imo, when a game released on a "not good" condition, there will be no fix that can fix it totally. Let's say for examples, AC: Unity and Cyberpunk 2077. By any means those two are not bad games, but still until now I feel "janky" on some parts. It's like the feeling of something is not even polished.

I've been waiting to play Gotham Knights since it launched but held back hoping for patches to fix the game. For some reason the price would never drop except on those key reseller sites. Then Steam slashed the price to just 17 USD for the base game and 23 USD for the Deluxe game. I couldn't pass it up for that price so here I am seeing if the game is at least playable now.

Watching Nightwings acrobatic animations and air time with jumps just makes me so annoyed they gave him a glider that totally makes his unique traversal obsolete.
Honestly, the only thing I liked about about this game was the intro. The fight between Ra's and Batman was so amazing. The music, cinematography, and dialog were all the best part of this game. Now that I think about it, that's kinda 😱

i picked it up on steam for $20, playing it in triple 4k surround locked at 60fps on my 5950x/3080ti and actually really enjoying it. It's not Arkham Asylum, but it's a fun game.
I just want 60 FPS and for them to make the speed effect an option to turn on and off.. the speed triangles on edge of the screen while using grapple and driving
if i take a poo on the ground, covered it with sprinkles then take a photo of it in 4k, i still took a poo on the ground

The sliding mechanic during the combat looks so ridiculous. It’s like knights are ridiculously jumping & sliding without any incoming attacks

I think the biggest mistake with this game is that everyone expected an Arkham game even tho we were contantly reminded that this would not be like an Arkham game and yet no one wanted to listen which led to everyone's inevitable disappointment
I do believe that expecting that is wrong, but at the same time, is it completely unwarranted? It is an “open world” DC game with characters from the Batman mythos. They both have combat and stealth, open world activities, crimes to solve, and stories to tell. It did not need to be Arkham 2.0 but with the Knights, it just needed to be a better overall game than a game that was released nearly a decade ago.
Still waiting for a fix.. Game Braking Bug that was not yet addressed. Enemies spawn inside the door where you can't enter, and are impossible to kill.. Around half hour grinding to get to that floor, but it happens every time. Sometimes this last npc spawns in a different door, but it's impossible to continue. Doesn't happen so often in multiplayer, but I can only play alone so, tough luck..

Didn’t mind the gameplay or the skill trees or even its performance although teleporting around with Robin at launch felt awful. Nothing will ever make me forget the disappointment of that last mission though, of getting to the end of game and turning to my brother and going “That’s it? That’s how the story ends?” Really wish this game had been well-written

If you need a "roadmap" to plan your fun I think the game already failed, like it's important to know if it's getting updates but the game seriously needs a major overhaul before a roadmap is even feasible
People tend to believe average is equivalent to being bad. Hence why Ubisoft is hated so much. But the game had a legacy to live up to and that most likely raised people’s expectations. The game also suffered from performance issues and had a locked 30fps for seemingly no reason. It’s not pushing visuals or any tech for that matter. That’s the main reason I’ll never buy it. I don’t mind 30 fps but unless you are pushing the boundary in one form or another I’m not interested. Or what I’m playing on is weaker hardware like the switch. The XboxX and PS5 are not that weak to play a game that looks like it came out in 2016.
with ray-tracing off it performs WAY better it's the ray-tracing implementation that is borked turn it off and check

Could you revisit "Dying Light 2", it's had a few great updates and it has a dlc with another on the way this month. Also I feel that you were quite harsh in some aspects (such as the slow paraglider, it was only slow because you didn't upgrade it)
It feels soulless compared to AK imo. The dodge is ok, but it's missing the counters. Batbike feels slow. Game is boring.
BUT... if you're REALLY itching for some hero action. It will suffice.

Bought it a month ago for my PS5, really enjoyed it Viewing it as an AC type of game but Gotham themed made such a huge difference of enjoyment. Really liked it. The random crimes, the suits/weapons status effects and the city are the stellar for me. Story wise was okay I guess, wasn't a mind breaking game. It's generally fun, recommended buying the standard edition, deluxe ain't worth it.

I'm just sad they included coop but only 1 person appears in cutscenes and if you aren't the host you're basically a spectator. You can't interact with most objectives and even doors.
