@berniefynn6623 History books? The General's Son: Journey of an Israeli in Palestine by Miko Peled Holy Lands: Reviving Pluralism in the Middle East by Nicolas Pelham A letter from a Rabbi quoted in CONSTANTINOPLE The author of the book Phillip Mansel writes “... Jews were encouraged to immigrate from Europe. A letter from one rabbi to his persecuted brethren in Europe burns with fervour of a Zionist immigration prospectus, urging settlement in the Promised Land:” "Here in the land of the Turks we have nothing to complain of. We possess great fortunes; much gold and silver are in our hands. We are not oppressed with heavy taxes and our commerce is free and unhindered. Rich are the fruits of the earth. Everything is cheap and every one of us lives in peace and freedom. Here the Jew is not compelled to wear a yellow star as a badge of shame as is the case in Germany where even wealth and great fortune are a curse for a Jew because he therewith arouses jealousy among the Christians and they devise all kind of slander against him to rob him of his gold. Arise my brethren, gird up your loins, collect all your forces and come to us." The author of the book CONSTANTINOPLE continues “In ‘the refuge of the world’, in contrast to western Europe, there were no restrictions on freedom of trade and few limits on the construction of synagogues. ... With their new-found wealth they were able to outbid Christian and Muslim consortiums for the lease of Constantinople’s customs. ... their history is that rarity in Jewish history, a happy story. In Constantinople the words pogrom, ghetto, inquisition had no meaning.” "After 1453 most Europeans believed that a state could flourish only if it imposed religious uniformity. In the sixteenth century ‘heretics’ were burnt alive in London and Berlin, massacred in Paris, expelled from Vienna. In 1685 Louis XIV expelled all Huguenots from France; until 1700 appreciative crowds, led by kings and queens of Spain, watched heretics burn alive in the Plaza Mayor of Madrid. The Ottoman Empire, however, gave religious freedom to Christians and Jews. George of Hungary wrote in the fifteenth century: ‘The Turks do not compel anyone to renounce his faith, do not try hard to persuade anyone and do not have a great opinion of renegades.’ In the seventeenth, in the view of the traveler and writer Mosieur de La Motrae: ‘There is no country on earth where the exercise of all sorts of Religions is more free and less subject to being troubled, than in Turkey.’ " - Philip Mansel in the book “Constantinople”

The Arab uprising was a concoction of the Lawrence of Arabia movie, in reality the Arab population at large never participated in any military campaign against the Ottoman turks. The rulers of Mecca and Medina were bribed to switch loyalty. The capitulation of Caliphate was a direct result of the WWI defeat of the central powers. The British had conspired to settle the Jews in Palestine in the Balfour declaration. Uncle !!!
Voiceless? Because their terror regimes don’t let them speak - the may murder and being killed but Hamas and Fatah, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria keeps them voiceless, oppressed but the never stand up against them. Quite interesting don’t you think?
In my youth I volunteered on a kibbutz. Years later nostalgically I researched the history of the kibbutz of my youth. I was shocked to find out the kibbutz was on the land of a Palestinian village. The village had been overrun in the war, the inhabitants fled to Jordan, the Israelis blew up every house in the village. Former members of Palmach established the Kibbutz and populated it with American and South African Jews. Israel has the right to defend itself? No thieves and murderers need to be punished not rewarded. Malcom X said of the media “it has the power to make the innocent guilty, and the guilty innocent”.
Andnto think.when I was young I thought working in Kibbutz was one great adventure, ignorant of the atrocities that's been visited on the native people..😢😢😢😢

It is curious to this day, that working on a #Kibbutz is considered a wholesome activity in much of the West.
@@Dawah_Help it’s all in the inter web, Kibbutz Tzora check it out. The tactic was very common if you read Ilan Pappe’s book The Ethnic Cleansing of the Palestinians it’s all outlined there. It was a very wholesome activity. I’d just spent a few years in the army, and had a bit of a drink problem. A summer of good food, hard work and no alcohol (my choice) did me the World of good. I went on to do seasonal agricultural work for a few years after that. My time on the Kibbutz was an education politically, historically, and religiously as well.

Holy Lands: Reviving Pluralism in the Middle East by Nicolas Pelham
A letter from a Rabbi quoted in CONSTANTINOPLE
The author of the book Phillip Mansel writes
“... Jews were encouraged to immigrate from Europe. A letter from one rabbi to his persecuted
brethren in Europe burns with fervour of a Zionist immigration prospectus, urging settlement in
the Promised Land:”
"Here in the land of the Turks we have nothing to complain of. We possess great fortunes; much
gold and silver are in our hands. We are not oppressed with heavy taxes and our commerce is free and unhindered. Rich are the fruits of the earth. Everything is cheap and every one of us lives in peace and freedom. Here the Jew is not compelled to wear a yellow star as a badge of shame as is the case in Germany where even wealth and great fortune are a curse for a Jew
because he therewith arouses jealousy among the Christians and they devise all kind of slander
against him to rob him of his gold. Arise my brethren, gird up your loins, collect all your forces
and come to us."
The author of the book CONSTANTINOPLE continues
“In ‘the refuge of the world’, in contrast to western Europe, there were no restrictions on freedom
of trade and few limits on the construction of synagogues. ... With their new-found wealth they
were able to outbid Christian and Muslim consortiums for the lease of Constantinople’s customs.
... their history is that rarity in Jewish history, a happy story. In Constantinople the words
pogrom, ghetto, inquisition had no meaning.”
"After 1453 most Europeans believed that a state could flourish only if it imposed religious uniformity. The Ottoman Empire, however, gave religious freedom to Christians and
Jews. George of Hungary wrote in the fifteenth century: ‘The Turks do not compel anyone to renounce his faith, do not try hard to persuade anyone and do not have a great opinion of renegades.’ In the seventeenth, in the view of the traveler and writer Mosieur de La Motrae: ‘There is no country on earth where the exercise of all sorts of Religions is more free and less
subject to being troubled, than in Turkey.’ " - Philip Mansel in the book “Constantinople”
@berniefynn6623 Author Amnon Cohen in his book “JEWISH LIFE UNDER ISLAM” writes,
"But that in no way changes the fundamental proposition of this book: an autonomous Jewish life
was carried on in Ottoman Jerusalem under the protection of, and even encouraged by, the
Muslim rulers from the time they rose to power." Pg 225
In the last chapter titled Conclusion: 'The Importance of Being Tolerated'
He says
"THE JEWS OF JERUSALEM enjoyed the status of a tolerated minority, that of a “protected people.”
"... the Jews enjoyed social autonomy and religious freedom to an impressive extent."

The Ottomans never really controlled the Arabian peninsula centrally, they had treaties with the local chieftains to rule over their territory in exchange of taxes. Even today many Muslims fail to distinguish Zionism from Judaism. Since 1948, many of our Jewish brothers and sisters, like the book's author, have spoken out against injustice to the Palestinians. ❤
Many non-Muslims also make the same error.
Judaism is zionist, because it promised that God will establidh the jews and Israël on the land of Canaan forever.
Even in punishments times it's written in the text, that God says things like :
" I will not utterly destroys you, I will have compassion on you again and I will take you from every nations and gather you to the land I promised to your ancestors, I will do this for my holy name sakes even if you do not deserve it community of Israël."
So since zion is a mountain un Jerusalem, and God promised he will bring them back to this mountain, to this land, judaism IS ZIONist.
Some people fail to distinguish between Jews and Judaism. There are a lot of atheist Jews and some Christian, Muslim, Buddhist ones.
