Picked up the ue blast a month ago for like 90 at Best Buy. About 2 weeks after find out boom 3 and mega boom 3 are releasing. Curled up into a ball and cried myself to sleep that same night.

What do I appreciate about the Floss Man? He slows down and allows us to hear more than enough on the speakers to come to a decision on quality and sound. Many reviewers only play 5-7 second clips of anything not allowing me to really analyze what's being presented.

I have had these since the 1 st edition. Love the shape. Fits in drink holders on my bikes when exercising, golf cart and backpack water holder then pairing them together and putting them all around the house and yard for bbq's, parties and such.
I have no desire to buy either one of these yet i watched the video in it's entirety. You just can't beat Flossy and White Shoes.

Who else is listening to this on their UE Boom 2? The only thing I don't like about this is that it no longer has aux cable in option which is great for using with non-bluetooth audio players.

UE Megaboom 3 is Very good speaker, but there is a huge problem. Stero mode works only with 2 speakers , no more. If you try with 4, 6, and 8 up speakers connected at the same time the mode is always mono.
I prefer the ue boom and megaboom over jbl all day . I like that UE because they are backwards compatible jbl is not and if you use blackplayer ex like me bass is not an issue because you can tweak the everything. That why I have just about every boom and megaboom speaker ue has made and I love going party up mode and connecting them all and jamming out .
The sound effects for tape-cutting are what make this video.

Once again I find myself watching a Floss review for something I'd probably never buy and have very little interest in...but it's Floss so it's a must watch!! I don't understand how come Floss is under 1M subscribed and others that are nowhere near as capable of providing informative reviews have 1M+ reviews. Miss White Shoes.

Stereo pair two Sonos ones if you want great sound quality for around 400 dollars. If you want to be outside and listen to music on the go then ultimate ears do a decent enough job. If you like HIFI then you know software EQ effects the purity and quality of any signal and give it a plastic quality.

Ue boom 3 (not megaboom) can only do 85hz on 75% volume. I tried to find a frequency response on the box but it doesnt say.

19:40 i have two megabooms and as far as im aware there is no desktop app available to use them in stereo sound. You cant use stereo sound without the app either

Our 2004 car doesn't have the bluetooth thingy and this boom 3 is an easy and cheap fix for listening to spotify.
I have a UE Boom 2. Great little speaker. I have noticed that the battery life degrades significantly if you use it at max volume. I don't think I need to upgrade just yet. Thanks for the video. Hope White Shoes recovers quickly.

Flossy Carter OK, so what volume is the battery rated at? 50%, 25%? It makes a big difference about assessing the specs.
All speakers when they list volume, it's at 50%. If you max out, depending on the speaker you can usually cut that in half of at least by 30 to 40%.
I chose against get the newer versions as they lack an auxiliary input. I use non Bluetooth iPods as well as Bluetooth from my phone and tablet. And, charging brick, as you call it gives a faster charge as opposed to a phone charger. And I do appreciate the app has the features.
OMG!!!! I just left a comment on another page saying the need to sample classical music. Though this a mix it does give that. So, thanks for that, because I love me some base and classical as well as ambient.

On pair/stereo mode volume go up and down on the two?, reason I ask Is on sony xb’s dont, it pump up down the volume of the main and you must equal the second by hand/listening🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️.. it is useless, I’m retuning them. I appreciate if you can answer this concern , thanks

You should consider getting a DB meter for speaker reviews to show us how loud the speakers are since the MIC can't convey this.
Most folks don't know about DB's and how that would translate into sound lol

I bought the Mega Boom 3 as an upgrade to my Mega Boom 1. The 3 is just as flat and as hollow sounding as the 1. The 3 also gets heaps muddled and distorted at max volume. Get the strap alright because the engineers at Ultimate Ears haven't improved the sound quality whatsoever. Don't waste your money.
