Cup Cake I have 3 dogs already, I’ve looked into adopting a dog from Wood Green (a place in the uk) but they want you to be at home all day and not have dogs already ☹️ (Im part owner in a company so can’t be at home every day) I’ve even looked into adopting a street dog from Greece when I went there for a holiday but I couldn’t because I didn’t meet the criteria. I don’t want to wish my dogs lives away but when my dogs are gone I will 100% adopt a dog or two instead of getting a puppy. If I won the lottery I would adopt every dog I could!! I love dogs more then my own life, I’d sacrifice everything I have to be able to look after and make dogs happy, some people don’t understand how amazingly wonderful they are, I’ve had dogs all my life and they have always been a massive part of the family

That's really sad that so many of the dogs just ran, it shows that people must be cruel to them generally. Glad Wendy's gonna have a good life now tho.
It's not always that people are cruel to them. Some people probably are. But I live on a reservation and we have a lot of street dogs like this "rez dogs" and a lot of them are just standoffish because they were never socialized as puppies. They're just not trusting of humans. Some are friendly, those are the ones I like to make friends with.

I never thought I'd have as much respect and love for Steve-O. It started w Rogan's pod and I've followed him since. His life, sobriety and passion are inspiring. An open-book, smart, eloquent and caring. I hope he continues to live his best life and to touch lives for a very long time

I've seen this before, but so happy to be watching it again. It didn't look like she was being mistreated and she was a healthy weight, but so good to see that he was able to pluck from the streets and give her stability as she was so ready for it. I assume by how friendly she was that she was given some affection on her spot. It'd have broken me watching this, seeing her following him, and him not being able to take her permanently. What a beautiful bond.

Right. I feel so bad for all those street dogs. Why aren't the Peruvians like a little more compassionate? Those dogs act like they're constantly shoo'd away. That's why they avoid steve-0. It's not because he smells bad. Even if he does. For god's sakes, feed them some cheap dog food and pet them.
DoggDewd Its because there's an overpopulation of stray dogs in Peru. Even if every citizen owned one, there would still be tons on the streets, breeding and making more homeless puppies.
Found a cute pupper like this once, we took him home, washed him, fed him, took him to the vet and bought all the shit a dog would need. He was the most loyal dog we've ever had and we loved him the same way he loved us. Sadly one day a kid kept pissing him off and when my dad let him free he ran from that kid straight to the front of a car and got killed... one of the saddest days of my life and i will never forget him and his loyalty. We now have another dog that we got and i love him the same way but for some reason he doesn't have the same loyalty but he still protects us at any cost. R.I.P. Pif

You can just tell from her body language before her bath and after when they’re walking out of the hotel how her ears are perked up, tail up and wagging with a pep in her step. Truly beautiful and you can tell how appreciative she is and she knew she was safe
IMO, Of all the stunts he has pulled it is this one genuine gesture from his heart that makes him stand out from the rest of the jackass crew. The bond between a human and a dog can really be something special and it's really cool that they found each other.

Yay!! The Dodo I love you guys. Please get in touch with his manager somehow. There are so many street dogs that need homes. And I dont know if you have done a piece on Savas safehaven in Romania. If not please go on instagram and check them out. They do so much for abandoned, abused and neglected dogs and cats. But I think they need to be able to adopt out to places like Canada not just the UK.
💓 love you Steve-O!😊 I am Peruvian and the stray dogs situation here is so sad. I do my bit trying to help dogs in my spare time and find them homes. What we need is people to collaborate with they spaying so they don't reproduce more. We can't home all of them but at least we can spay them and help our bit so no more dogs have to suffer in the dangers hunger and cold of the streets here. If you want to collaborate contact me or go in Facebook to Postaoasis Veterinaria. We send receipts of everything. A spaying here per dog only costs $8 with us because we don't profit from it, we only charge the costs of the medicines and instruments. We do it because the situation is really really sad, so much cruelty can be seen from many humans and we try to do our bit. Wish we could do more but we are trying :) send us your good vibes and please try to adopt a dog from a shelter, don't buy them if where you live there are dogs at shelters :)

I spent 2 years being homeless with my dogs. I had a job, truck with cap and enough money at the time to secure a rental, but all the places in my budget wouldn’t give the three of us a chance. We spent many nights in the truck or a tent. One night we were sleeping in the back with both girls snoring to the sounds of rain and I realized how lucky I was. Both my precious girls have passed on, but I was grateful to have found a home for us before they passed. My Black Golden mix was 15 and my Springer was 13. If it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t be here today. The only thing missing in my life now is a Dog (I’ve given up on relationships with women).
Both my dogs were unwanted and loved me unconditionally. I’m hoping to visit the shelter soon to get another friend. I travel for work so without someone at home, I’ll need to board my pup. This video makes me happy and props to Steve O for rescuing sweet Wendy. Anyone who sleeps outdoors for their friend is special.
I remember watching this video awhile back and feeling genuinely happy for both Steve-O and these dogs.
I graduated class of 2000 in Harrisburg PA (not far from West Chester) so Bam and Ryan Dunn and the CKY crew were heroes of mine. Peers and heroes. Then Knoxville and Steve-O and Pontius and Ehren and Dico and Rake Yohn and all the rest. I love these guys and hope they're all doing well and living happy lives.
What a unique fun way to get a dog. And you are providing this dog with a healthier happier life. Very cool.
