Awesome! Could U please do a follow-up tutorial on how to use the sampler to make a keyboard using the one melodic sample? As always thanks for your fantastic and easy to understand vids
Nice timing, Kenny! I had my 6 year old granddaughter over last night, and she spent some time pounding on my keyboards. Of course, I had it all recording. I wondered how I was going to try to use her stream, and now I know. Thanks, Kenny!
that was a great tutorial @kenny , but the only probably is that you didn't show us how you set up the button for inserting the sample into reasamplmatic5000
Time stamp 3:05 Right click on the tool bar area of the media explorer and click customize toolbar all you have to do is click add on the bottom and search for "Insert Into Active Sample Player" once added you can right click on Insert Into Active Sample Player and click Change Icon
@@REAPERMania why was my comment deleted when I was attempting to be beneficial to the reaper community by, through text, explaining how to answer the question someone had.
love kenny's videos! but resampleomatic is in need of a big update. if yr more into slicing and want to work faster try the free plugin Sitala. its similar to ableton's simpler.
Thank you, Kenny. So helpfull as always, you tutorials. It seems as this way of extracting sample from a drum loops cannot be apply to all drum loop. I mean, for some drum loops where some drum components hit at the same time in the loops,(like the kick and the snare hiting toghether) it will be very difficult. But when in the drum loop some drum components hit in isolation like in the example you choosed, it becomes very easy to take advantage and extract the precised sound we are looking for. Please feel fry to tell me what you think. Thank you!
That double clicking on "Note start" to set the note is so useful. I've been using REAPER for a while and never knew. Thanks for your video!
So much potential for multiple types of sampling with this method. Love it Kenny!!

Yes! All the midi videos you have help me so much
Would be interesting to see what you could do with a vst for a djembe (type of large bongo) to make it sound realistic?

Sitala is advertised as a drum sampler, can it be used for any samples though?

Yes. It's only useful when the pieces you want are isolated.
Maybe a silly question, but is there a way to export the new samples to a library?
Might not be what you're asking for, but you can save the FX chain to reload that same "drum kit" in the future
Love your videos! What's the best "order" to watch if you're a novice with reaper and want to use it as a tutorial? 😊
