I'm put off from buying because the high shine ionised paint on the metal is super thin and will eventually wear off the sharper edges of the metal. Also scratches will show the stainless steel metal underneath which will look worse on the black paint vs the platinum. I just don't know how durable the paint job will be. It could end up looking quite worn down in a while
It always fascinates me how different people's tastes are. Imho the metal model represented is ugly as shxt. Not because of the metal frame but because of the color combination and the inside face of the watch. Guess I kinda like simpler designs... Thanks for the video by the way. Much appreciated...
me too. the plastic one has a black bezel which matches the negative display. The whole thing is black which gives great contrast to the number. That thing is a beauty
Those are different. They have a full metal case with a screw down caseback and a solar/atomic time module and STN display. These cheaper metal ones are standard resin models with a metal "cap" on top and the standard module. I have one (couldn't resist the camo model) and it wears better than a normal resin g-shock -- the resin band is upgraded too -- but I still don't think it's worth $200.

Ive the same DW model which is amazing but after getting my GA 2100 wish i bought the GM just for the sake of the color
