Just shows you how truly awesome the PS2 was and still is. A tremendous library of games!!! I own 400 plus PS2 games and I feel their still a boat load of great games I have yet to play or own yet..
Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, Kingdom Hearts, first 3 that come to mind when I think of my child hood gaming times. So many others but can't name them atm
Or guessing cheat codes because they all started about the same and being like "whoa!" But since it was like 1am it got you busted for being up and down stairs playing. Ahh miss those days lol
My most fondest memory with my PS2 was playing and finishing Persona 3 and immediately followed by Persona 4. Let me elaborate: Back in 2008 or so, there was a really heavy typhoon in our country (Philippines) and when they (the government) announced that they'd be opening gates from dams and we should expect heavy flooding. So, a couple of hours later, the electricity shut down and we saw water slowly flooding our front yard and, a couple of hours later, inside our house. First thing I did was save my PS2 (and any electronic appliance we had, especially the TV) and put them in an elevated spot where the water couldn't get to. When it was all over, and the water receded, 3 days later, the electricity went back on and I was happily playing Persona 3, but as time went on, I found myself listening for noise that should be coming out of our neighbors' televisions. I turned off the volume and everything was quiet. Like dead quiet. Turns out, everyone's TV was submerged during the flood, and I was the only one with a working television (and PS2). But sad to say, I dropped my XBOX360. It was drenched. Never worked since.
I had a very rough childhood. Living in the ghetto mom and dad selling drugs and getting locked up type of shit . Sleeping on the living room floor of whoever was kind enough to take in a couple of kids with nowhere to go . I was fine though because I had a PS2 to keep me too busy playing San Andreas to care about what was going on in the real world . It saved my life and gaming in general really helps manage my anger issues and depression . Rip PS2 you were a great pal.
living in the ghetto etc,,, so plays Gta San Andrea's to stay away from real life issues gang violence drugs etc et ,,,,,, interesting game choice,,, 🤔
@@leemp8352why not i know a shit ton of kids who play 18+ games and they're perfectly fine. seriously though age restrictions have to be made but a majority of kids out there know what they're doing.
I still have mine and I don’t plan to let it go anytime soon. I don’t care if it breaks and Sony won’t repair it for me. It’s a part of my childhood. Even after all these years, I still prefer my ps2 to any damn console I have or ever will have.
When you'd leave the ps2 on all night because you didn't want to lose your progress because you didn't have a memory card, but when you woke up your mom had already turned it off.
Most systems now don’t have the usability it has, a game system a DVD player all in one at a nice price, now you can get blue ray players for great prices while systems still sit prettying high they most likely won’t ever have the same convenience it did
My dad bought this console when i was born and we still got it today...this thing is childhood to me and will always be. Thanks PS2 for the great time and memories.
*cries while typing this* I love my ps2 slim sometimes on the weekends I'll play Hitman: Blood Money, BULLY, MSG 3 Snake Eater, KILLZONE, STARWARS BATTLE FRONT 2, the GTA series, etc. I love that console & will play up until i have kids & hopefully pass it down to them.. when they're not playing their PS5 Slim or PS6 or whatever game console they'll have in the future. I love you PS2, you were the best piece of entertainment technology i had as a kid. You brought me endless hours of entertainment, even still to this day & i will always love you for that!!❤😢
pepe meme what is funny to me is that there were so many great games on the ps2 that I remember like re4, gta, true crime, Area 51, etc. but the only game I actually played for hours was Hitman contracts, it was my favorite game on the ps2.
I loved those games on PS2. I wasn't allowed to get GTA San Andreas when it first came out because of the whole hot coffee overreaction. But my parents told me if I got the honor roll they would buy it for me (I was 11 at the time). Well I did and my mom kept her word and got it for me. I played that game for literally hundreds of hours. It took me forever to beat the story lol. And the same year (05) my big brother bought me RE 4 brand new. One of the best gifts I got. I still have the original copies of both those games today. :)
@Super Nintendo WiiWho plays games for graphics? You must be younger than 25. Then again, you have Wii in your name. I bet you never played a game before SNES or Genesis.
I was born in Cuba, if you know anything about Cuba there is no internet, no videogames store, nothing. When I was 6 my grandfather who lived in the US send me my first video game console PS2. I was so happy, it came with Jack and Daxter 3, Grand Turismo 4 and others. I played with my PS2 until 2015 when I came to the US to have a better life. Then in one year later I got the PS4. RIP PS2 you will always be in our hearts. I barely speak English LOL
My story of my PlayStation 2 is a really sad one. My Great Grandfather always did what he could to "spoil" me, but with good reason. He was passing away around the time WWE Smackdown Shut Your Mouth was about to release and I was wanting a PS2 for that game so bad. While he was on his death bed, he told my Great Grandmother "get that boy a PS2, that's all that boy wants". A week after his funeral, she came to my house with my new PS2, memory card, Smackdown Shut Your Mouth and Final Fantasy X. There is alot more to this story but I wanted to keep this short.
@@gator9339 In 2013 it was stolen from me. Someone that I loved like a brother for years, we even got a matching tat... He stole everything of mine, he even stole my underwear dude!
First time that happened, me and my brother put a XBox Shrek game from a Shrek 2 DVD into the PS2 and was freaked the frick out! No idea what to do! Until we took it out. Called our Mawm n' ish. Hahaha!
Damn, my most incredible memory was when I was 4 years old and my sister and I would sneak into the family room and turn on the PlayStation, we would mute the TV before the ps2 intro could wake our parents and then we would play Kingdom Hearts until we fell asleep. That was 12 years ago but feels like yesterday. Still my favorite console and forever will be. 🙌🏽
I stayed up till six am with my brother playing kingdom hearts man I miss being 14 while playing that game. I'm glad to have been born in the 90s where good game where out. I feel bad for kids in this generation who will never experience that nostalgia we had growing up. I feel like I am going to cry for real almost like someone really passed away because that system grew up with us & now is in the heavens now with all the other ps comsoles.
@@royalette2036 Well that mean you were born somewhere in like either 2006 or 2007 if I am correct how I know because I have 2 nephew that were born that year he is 11 now.
The PS2 is quite possibly the most influential gaming console in my entire life. It was the console that introduced me to Kingdom Hearts, which has become my absolute favorite video game series of all time. I also remember spending hours upon end playing Spider-Man 2 and Ultimate Spider-Man, not even really doing anything but web swinging because I'd beaten the main story long long ago. Swinging around New York with my headphones connected to my old crappy CD player with a scratched up copy of Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park spinning around on an endless loop is how I spent most of my Summer in 2004 and 2005. It would be a tragedy if I forgot to mention Shadow of the Colossus. I think that game was the first time graphics took my breath away. Before that, the graphics of a game weren't really something I paid much attention to at all. I love the PS4 version, and it is absolutely my go-to way to play it now, but it didn't have the same awe factor that the original PS2 version had now that I'm pretty much spoiled by PC graphics. The PS2 may be dead to Sony, but the memories we've all created around that console will live on. Here's to all the good times we had, and to many more good times in the future as gamers.
SNES VS Sega Genesis were a grudge match. Both consoles were clash of the Titans. You ever hear of the 16 BIT wars of the 90s kinda like the space wars of the 60s. Lol!!!
I absolutely adored my PS2, I had just gotten clean from Heroin and it helped me stay away from the wrong people,, I spent days of my life running around San Andreas, leaping from mount chiliad, taking taxis, ambulance and fire fighter missions, Then I got my girlfriend and she loves gaming too, so we played together all the time, we'd take turns, a mission each on Black, which hands down was the best shooter on PS2. Dragon Quest 8, Katamari, Ford Racing 2, The two thrones prince of persia I loved too. But then I found Ico, that was such a beautiful, moving game. Shadow of the colossus too. Oh so many great memories of one of the best generations of console.
Venator De Parietinis I just wanna say this touched me cause my memories with the PS2 come mainly from my dad who was a heroin addict who eventually dipped out but when we would play games it was good.
I still have my PS2 from 2003. Got it when I was 11. No signs of stopping! My memories include: •The R&C Going Commando demo that I played the hell out of. •100% completion of the Jak and Daxter trilogy (before trophies were a thing). I loved the story and gameplay so much, that I bought them again on PS4 and platinumed the whole trilogy in 12 days. •Mastering Need For Speed: HP2 •DDR Max 2. I. Was. FIT. •Battle for Bikini Bottom. Best. Licensed. Game. Ever! •Spider-man 2, a game whose open-world concept blew my fucking mind away. •When I thought I could skateboard, I complemented this with Tony Hawk's Underground. •Buying "new" games in college: Mainly God of War and Ratchet and Clank. I dug deep into those games, too. •Other gems that I dabbled in, such as Ace Combat, Pac Man Worlds, Destroy All Human, and Soul Caliber. This console brought me into the platforming/collectathon and driving world. I picked up Jak and Daxter on a whim, just because the box kind of looked cool. I had NO idea what it would be like, or who Naughty Dog/Crash Bandicoot even were. I think Jak and Daxter ranks up there with the Pokemon series as the games I have played more than anything else. R.I.P. PS2. You're still alive in my heart (and my house)!
I still have 3 PS2's. 2 at my house, and 1 at my granddad's house, which I still play on. My favourite games are GT3 and 4, WWE Smackdown vs Raw and Persona 4
no console is dead as long as there are still people out there who enjoy it. I still have my super Nintendo from when I was like 4. it still works. I have all my old consoles. I can play all of them. I can fix most of them without outside help, youtube makes console repair even easier. I personally didn't buy a ps2. I got an xbox...cause halo was awesome, and I hated the memory cards from the playstation. Still, don't write off any console as dead. you never know when old games will get remakes, you never know when they might release an official mimic console, and ofcourse there will always be emulators.
I love KH, and i have no idea why, but whenever I think of KH1 in ps2, I instantly remember that granny in Hollow Bastion, its like the longest cut scene of the game and u can't skip it...
I was very little when I had my experience with the ps2 it is the probably my earliest memory, hearing and seeing that iconic startup with the towers and the colorful balls of light. I remember playing burnout and Rachet: Deadlocked with my big brother at my grandmas house. I deeply cherish those moments in my life and those memories have started my interest in collecting for this console.
I was like that in middle school with kingdom hearts 2. Every day I'd look forward to playing kingdom hearts and I'm 22 now feeling the same way about 3!
Kingdom Hearts was my RPG noob game. I made all the noob mistakes that you can. First I got lost in Traverse Town. Which meant I accidentally ended up grinding and becoming overpowered. Then I didn't grind after that, which I now know is essential. Next, I kept saving on just one save file. Finally, I rushed over to Hallow Bastion before I was actually ready. As it turned out, unlike other saves points on other worlds, you couldn't leave Hallow Bastion right away so I was screwed.
I had a ps2 and I still have it with lots of freaking games and the thing I remember the most Is that the games broke alot for me if they got scratched a little they started to malfunction and then broke :D have anyone of u had the same problem?
Yes, I'd say we all have had that happen. Best way to really extend the life of it is to use a hard drive with it so it doesn't have to load from the disc. I pretty much only play my games off the hard drive so I can save my discs.
The slim version is great at fucking up DVD's. The flat cable that connect the optical unit to the motherboard sometimes comes up and scratches the disc. With time this can lead to a scratched dvd. Its easy and cheap to fix, BUT If you insist playing with that same dvd you could risk "forcing" the optical unit, reducing its lifetime (any scratched DVD can do this). Later it can destroy the flat itself and even affect the optical unit (rare, but it can happen). I worked on a video game store for a long time and we would also offer technical assistance there. About 85% of the PS2's that for assistance had this problem, loll
My brother knew what times I would sneak in the living room to play on the PS2, so he would right before I enter the room turn the TV on full volume! I even had papers of instructions on what to do before turning anything on so anything like that never happens:)
Yeah, the ps2’s services may be dead, but the library of the ps2 and the thing itself? People are basically never gonna let it go really, and i am one if those people
Dead? Hardly; it's just up to us to keep our consoles in good shape now. Legally, Sony cannot say no to us doing our own repairs because they closed the doors on their console. It's the same with all the older Nintendo consoles as well. Repair, modify, enjoy your consoles as you see fit. Being truthful about my favorite thing about the PS2, is the controller design; it's the best, period. Four face and shoulder buttons, two thumbsticks, evenly shaped...can't beat good controller design. Of course, there's a long list of games I love playing too.
Amy Carter as much I love my PlayStation 2 (try and find my comment I wrote an essay on my relationship with it) the DualShock 4 has the exact same layout and button input but it fits the hands way better than the DualShock 2 ever did.
I thought that too till i got an xbox. The ps controller is still my favorite but the way the xbox controller(2nd model, smaller one) you play with your wrists straight with the ps controller you hold it more like a gun with your wrists bent. you can play a lot longer with the xbox with less cramping.
Haha, getting the console and having no money for a memory card until weeks later. Kids today will never know the struggle! :p Recently tried out my PS2 for the first time in ages after a few moves and it still boots up blue discs. I recently learned about the hard drive mod so I may do that down the road as to put less stress on the disc drive and for quicker load times.
My favourite ps2 games were: Gta vice city Downhill domination Sims 1 Ssx Sonic riders Sly 1 and 2 Ratchet and clank Smackdown just bring it Gta 3 Gta san andreas Theres too many too list but you get my point. I cant make such a big list for ps4 or even ps3. Which is the sad thing, i wish ea didnt buy out lots of developers and companies and ruin them. They killed off so many games and franchises RIP.
I remember when I was young and knew nothing about video games tbh A neighbor offered 20 bucks for a ps2 with games and everything. I was broke asf at the time so I didn’t get it lol (I have one now tho and honestly there was a time I was playing on it more than my ps4)
I own a PlayStation 2 fat and slim. I've kept mine in great condition and started a collection worth about $100 and growing. My favorite game is Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition Remix.
my very first ps 2 game was medal of honor front line it brings me so many memories like ref faction 2 and spy hunter 1 and also call of duty finest hour i fitst got my ps2 in 2001 for seventeen years it is still function to this day
Its actually kind of annoying when xbox doesn't notify us when new bwc games come out, we have to go out of our way to find out but at least xbox has bwc.
I mean, hobbyists will keep it alive forever. You can still play games online with xlink kai, parts are still out there for self-repair or paying someone that knows what they're doing to do it. Hell I just got a 3rd party network adapter that supports sata and threw a 500GB hard drive in my old fat PS2. It won't be dead dead for another few decades.
I remember playing GTA 3 on my cousin's PS2 when I was super young. My mom didn't like it (of course because I was too young to play such a game). Once I grew older, my mom bought me my own PS2 and my aunt bought me both "Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots" and a game called "Scaler." Boy, I played the shit out of those games! Day and night! A few years later, I got GTA: San Andreas (the first GTA and first M rated game I purchased with my own money). I would be up all night with my cousin looking for cheats and causing all kinds of mayhem. GTA San Andreas has the best cheat codes. I had a GameCube around the time as well (I actually still have it, too). As much as I love my GameCube, I was hooked to the PS2. The PS2, in my eyes, was the badass of all consoles next to the Nintendo 64. Man I miss my PS2. Good times... :')
The hardware may no longer be supported, but it's nowhere close to dead. The games, franchises, and memories of the PS2 will live on as long as there are gamers.
I burned up a slim ps2 playing midnight club 3 dub edition remix. 2 friends with Straight 24hrs and 30mins of playtime to 100% that game. Walmart replaced it too lol
I've been playing with a PlayStation 2 since I was born. I currently still play it because Im too poor to buy a new console, or even a PC. So, with almost every game made for PS2, I still like to play it. I have to be happy with what i have. And I am. I hope my PlayStation never gives up on itself, because i wouldnt have money to buy a new one, and now I wont be able to fix it. But, it has lasted this long. If I cherish it, hopefully if I have grandchildren, they will still have it to play it. This was just my thoughts.
Anyone else remember those little demo discs with like the intro to 4 games on it? I remember always replaying those wanting to play the full game so bad lol.
I did that with PC games though, didnt have a PS2 back in the day but still had a fuckton of fun and am having fun playing old fishing and racing games with it now
I was in my 20's when the PS2 was released. The system was expensive and sold out nearly everywhere upon release and so I thought it was out of reach. Fortunately my dad just won a Toys R Us credit which would pay for the system and went with me to a Toys R Us location that still had a few in stock only because it was on the somewhat shady side of town. That was a great day. Thank you Dad😂
Nice!! For me I grow up with it and there is no way I will abandoned my PS2. PS2 started it all and PS3 and 4 came after it so I am sure I will keep it as a treasure even if a PS8 would come out ☺.
I bought a PS2 in 2011 😂 and it had Gran Turismo 4 and God of War 2 in the package. That’s when I started gaming,I didn’t know English bavk then(as I am Greek)and nothing made sense for me!Great Console!
PS2 the best console there was, the best console there is, the best console there will be, its basically a roided up PS1... So many nights fighting my cousin on Marvel Nemesis Rise of the Imperfects.....playing Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and completing all the DBZ saga....making those MASSIVE Katamaries with that weird music as background....man what a great console. Im Happy I currently own 4 fully functional fully modded FAT PS2s thats how much I like it
out of hobby, I enjoy buying cheap PS2s that people are about to throw into the trash or they think is "dead" or even plain obsolete so they just throw it away, I like to get those and repair them...when the console is really good and well taken care off, I usually stick with them for a while ...its a hobby
PirateChest nothing wrong with that, i actually do a similar thing I like to clean and restore old consoles and make them brand new again, sometimes I keep them other times I sell them, like u say it’s a hobby
The PlayStation 2 was the first console i ever had, back when online multiplayer wasn't as prevalent on consoles and as someone who's a little shy it was the one way that i could actually make friends with at my school, Battlefront 2 (the real one), San Andreas 2-player mode, Burnout and Lego Starwars were The absolute best moments of my childhood that i can never get back .
Burnout 3: Takedown, Burnout Revenge, Road Trip Adventure, Outrun 2006 Coast 2 Coast, Power Rangers Super Legends, Nfs Carbon and Nfs Undercover Great times
Break times was awesome, everyone talking about their game and all I cared about was planning a sleepover for the weekend and sharing your saved games ^^
I've gone back and beaten the first game so many times. I have the other games but never fell for them like I did the first game. Still one of my all time favorite games
@@patchesmcadams1587 I just recently played Jak 1 on PS4 the digital version of the PS2 game because I got the game for free with my preorder copy of Uncharted The Lost Legacy. I got early into the game but I accidentally deleted my save file so I gotta start all over but i'm going for platinum in the game though.
I have had a PlayStation 2 since 2001 and I am on my third unit. Believe it or not, it was my primary gaming platform until about 2013. While I don't play it very often anymore, there are still a few games for both the original PlayStation and PlayStation 2 that I plan on playing for the first time. When I think of the PS2, my mind always goes directly to Koei games. I was first blown away by Kessen and Dynasty Warriors 2. Dynasty Warriors 3 and 4 were the most fun games of my high school years and Dynasty Tactics 1 and 2 were the games which really caused me to transition into a strategy-first gamer. In college, I didn't play all that many games but when I did, it was pretty much always Romance of the Three Kingdoms X and I have sunk hundreds of hours into it over the years. I now have ROTK VII, VIII, IX, and XI and I have largely refrained from starting them because I fear getting sucked in too deeply. Other standouts for me were Ring of Red, Kessen III, and Front Mission 4, all of which I experienced years after their release and yet enjoyed to the nth degree.
My days with the PS2 were buying pirated games for $3, seriously it felt great to get games that cheap. Some of my favorite memories come from Spiderman 2, just swinging around New York never gets old. Another one which is a hidden gem imo, Ben 10: Protector of Earth, the combat was amazing, the story was awesome, so much replay value. I remember my first time beating that game, which I did from start to end in one go since I didn't ever have a memory card. Rest In Peace PS2, probably the greatest console of all time...
haha it's 0.5$ in my area for a pirated copy, thanks to them elementary me could easily get new games (though the disc doesn't last very long) I remember playing that ben 10 game with my friend for the entire day on sleepover, good times
This is actually sad to hear. I remember I got my PS2 in the winters of 2004 and it ran until summer 2012. Had a huge bunch of games I and a cousin of mine freely shared. The most memorable ones were GTA San Andreas, Tekken 5 and SmackDown vs Raw 2003. Oh, I wish I could get them days back.

My most fondest memory with my PS2 was playing and finishing Persona 3 and immediately followed by Persona 4. Let me elaborate:
Back in 2008 or so, there was a really heavy typhoon in our country (Philippines) and when they (the government) announced that they'd be opening gates from dams and we should expect heavy flooding.
It saved my life and gaming in general really helps manage my anger issues and depression . Rip PS2 you were a great pal.

I played it on PC years and years ago. I remember when i had to search for cheat codes and type them on paper... It was so much fun
I still have mine and I don’t plan to let it go anytime soon. I don’t care if it breaks and Sony won’t repair it for me. It’s a part of my childhood. Even after all these years, I still prefer my ps2 to any damn console I have or ever will have.

@Super Nintendo Wii the wii version is good but nowhere near good as the pc version of the game

I remember playing gta sa on the ps2.Good times...
Here's to all the good times we had, and to many more good times in the future as gamers.
well you're not alone :)

SNES VS Sega Genesis were a grudge match. Both consoles were clash of the Titans. You ever hear of the 16 BIT wars of the 90s kinda like the space wars of the 60s. Lol!!!
ShAdOwMaN Xbox ps2 gamecube

The first console that got me into real gaming! You will be missed ❤️
The PS2 got me in gaming to
As for me. My uncle had it when i was young and he introduced me into gaming with, plus he had a library of games, consisting mainly of shooters
Oh so many great memories of one of the best generations of console.
man, that's deep. mad respect
I’ve never heard a drug story like this. Kudos man, I’m going to share this with people I know personally.
Venator De Parietinis I just wanna say this touched me cause my memories with the PS2 come mainly from my dad who was a heroin addict who eventually dipped out but when we would play games it was good.
I still have my PS2 from 2003. Got it when I was 11. No signs of stopping!
My memories include:
•The R&C Going Commando demo that I played the hell out of.
•100% completion of the Jak and Daxter trilogy (before trophies were a thing). I loved the story and gameplay so much, that I bought them again on PS4 and platinumed the whole trilogy in 12 days.
•Mastering Need For Speed: HP2
•DDR Max 2. I. Was.

Except screw Nintendo, emulation is piss poor and difficult to manage now.

*THE PS2 WILL NEVER DIE IN MY EYES*
I had a ps2 and I still have it with lots of freaking games and the thing I remember the most Is that the games broke alot for me if they got scratched a little they started to malfunction and then broke :D have anyone of u had the same problem?
Yes, I'd say we all have had that happen. Best way to really extend the life of it is to use a hard drive with it so it doesn't have to load from the disc. I pretty much only play my games off the hard drive so I can save my discs.
I did but then again I had cheap pirate discs so I didn’t expect much
You had a Ps2 slim or fat.I have slim to this day only 2 games have had that problem.
The time when you turn on your ps2 at night but the tv was at full volume and the ps2 intro blasted in your whole house
My brother knew what times I would sneak in the living room to play on the PS2, so he would right before I enter the room turn the TV on full volume! I even had papers of instructions on what to do before turning anything on so anything like that never happens:)
Memories? I still use it to this day sooo....

@TwisterSanity oh yeah taths rip, but les shitty than selling your console😂

1000% RIGHT
I thought that too till i got an xbox. The ps controller is still my favorite but the way the xbox controller(2nd model, smaller one) you play with your wrists straight with the ps controller you hold it more like a gun with your wrists bent. you can play a lot longer with the xbox with less cramping.

The ps2 dies with my family
The PS2, in my eyes, was the badass of all consoles next to the Nintendo 64.

i still play my ps2, 500gb internal hdd plus 750gb external full game
@@JigsawVODs megabytes just to correct you
@@JigsawVODs he modded it to play backups, i think
Still the best console ever created.
Not at all. It was good 10 years ago but now? Never.
PS2>Xbox One lol
Can't agree more
Ps2 for that gen, 360 for that round of Gen, Ps4 for this round of Gen, imo
@Gears of War Stuff PS2 is the most sold console ever
PS2 the best console there was, the best console there is, the best console there will be, its basically a roided up PS1... So many nights fighting my cousin on Marvel Nemesis Rise of the Imperfects.....playing Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and completing all the DBZ saga....making those MASSIVE Katamaries with that weird music as background....man what a great console. Im Happy I currently own 4 fully functional fully modded FAT PS2s thats how much I like it
PirateChest why do you have 4? I have 1 fully modded and that plays every thing
ps3 was better. The only reason I say this is that all the great ps2 games were eventually remastered for PS3.
out of hobby, I enjoy buying cheap PS2s that people are about to throw into the trash or they think is "dead" or even plain obsolete so they just throw it away, I like to get those and repair them...when the console is really good and well taken care off, I usually stick with them for a while ...its a hobby
PirateChest nothing wrong with that, i actually do a similar thing I like to clean and restore old consoles and make them brand new again, sometimes I keep them other times I sell them, like u say it’s a hobby
Hey exactly!
The PlayStation 2 was my first console too
Burnout 3: Takedown, Burnout Revenge, Road Trip Adventure, Outrun 2006 Coast 2 Coast, Power Rangers Super Legends, Nfs Carbon and Nfs Undercover
Great times
Break times was awesome, everyone talking about their game and all I cared about was planning a sleepover for the weekend and sharing your saved games ^^
Man memories
The PS2, I had so many memories with that console. The system's intro is burned in my memory forever. Rest in Peace PS2, you earned it
Jak and daxter series
What my first games were and what a way to introduce someone into open world games just perfection in my little kid eyes
I've gone back and beaten the first game so many times. I have the other games but never fell for them like I did the first game. Still one of my all time favorite games
Hardest mission ever Seriously
😭😭😭
@@patchesmcadams1587 I just recently played Jak 1 on PS4 the digital version of the PS2 game because I got the game for free with my preorder copy of Uncharted The Lost Legacy. I got early into the game but I accidentally deleted my save file so I gotta start all over but i'm going for platinum in the game though.

i sir appreciate your metal gear solid big boss reference while i'm in the midst of my metal gear phase.
So this is growing up...
Getting hit with a duelshock2
OOF
My days with the PS2 were buying pirated games for $3, seriously it felt great to get games that cheap.
Some of my favorite memories come from Spiderman 2, just swinging around New York never gets old. Another one which is a hidden gem imo, Ben 10: Protector of Earth, the combat was amazing, the story was awesome, so much replay value. I remember my first time beating that game, which I did from start to end in one go since I didn't ever have a memory card. Rest In Peace PS2, probably the greatest console of all time...
Yea me too but it was even cheaper in our country
ben 10 was lit af
haha it's 0.5$ in my area for a pirated copy, thanks to them elementary me could easily get new games (though the disc doesn't last very long)
I remember playing that ben 10 game with my friend for the entire day on sleepover, good times
Amen.
Ben 10 was so good
This is actually sad to hear.
Smackdown! Here Comes The Pain multiplayer with my brother....😍😍..oh man those were some good times..!
