I loved the video, I manage the page Hobie Pro Angler owners on Facebook. I plan to post a video of my creation on the page soon. I attached a 6hp mercury and could upgrade into the 8 and 9.9 hp outboards. I’m still in my testing phases right now. I get 140 miles range off 3 gallons of gas at full throttle. Max speed on a 6hp is 18.4 mph.
Yeah that is awesome love to see that. Just be aware of the weight as most 9.9 can be a lil hefty. lol.... Plus the top heavy that could cause issues when turning. I did see a video of a pro angler with a 6hp they installed a side stabilizer on it to help with stability. Awesome bro
That piece supposed to keep the salt water leaking into the motor. When you see the salt water corrosion eat away that nut half way through, it time to replace a new one before salt water reach to inside the motor. Otherwise, u r screw. Good luck.

The throttle mount position could interfere when u try to use the paddle. May be use the flush throttle mount sportman innovation.
This mount is what the owner wanted. There are different ways and accessories for sure. The owner wanted it just a little higher.
I notice that you did not put on the little puller that Torqueedo provided for an easy raising or drop down the motor.
I'm going to try it on the next outing and see if it works for me.

I will definitely keep that in mind, thanks for the tip! Great observation
