Nice clip. Thank you. I’m doing wheel upgrade to my 1992 Electra glide ultra classic next week. Do I need new spacers. Also move up fender? Thanks a bunch. Nice bike
IT MIGHT BE BIT DIFFERENT THAN MINE 2011, I USED OEM BEARINGS AND NO SPACERS. AND FOR THE FENDER I HAD TO DRILL OUT MOUNTING HOLES IN THE FENDER AND MOVED IT UP JUST A BIT.
Did you have to tilt your front fender? I heard it causes your paint to bubble if you don’t. Just curious because I’m adding the same set up on my Harley.
One more thing, after you do this tire won’t touch fender but when tile picks up small rocks front the street they will scrape the fender... but it’s no biggie I did 10k miles like that. But finally installed spacers when I took my H-D off-roading Now fender sits 1/2” higher but rocks won’t touch it.
The ride it’s perfect, don’t see much difference between stock. And yes I can still see over the windshield And bike looks better than ever with that from rim
Im putting a 21" wheel on the front of my road king. I just got the wheels delivered yesterday, and now am in search of tires. Can you tell me what size and brand tire you put on? My research on specific tire sizes is coming up with many different opinions. lol
I got spacers from Amazon, now it doesn't rub but now my fender is too high and hits the bolt and crash bar if I go over a bump. have you had this problem? any idea how to fix?
Yes, you can drill out existing mounting holes in the fender just a bit and just push it up from the back and than tighten the bolts, I did manny miles like that with no isssue
No I didn’t, you can drill out mounting holes just a bit and tilt the fender upwards from the back and you will be good. Did over 10k miles like this and no problem
One of the best upgrades I did to my Harley, you can get that wheel from Amazon amzn.to/3KhAzWV I did over 10k miles on it so I’m highly recommending it
@@MotorHead963 I think you misunderstood my comment. I was saying that the link in your description takes you to a single disk wheel. I was wondering where you got the wheel for a dual disc like yours. My bike is dual disk as well.
yeah I forgot to mention that, its the best if you drill out mounting holes just a bit and tilt it upwards when installing. And that won't rub. But after few months I ordered spacers from amazon bezause tire was catching little rocks and they were scratching the fender.
Thats for the input. I saw some guys do rotor just on one side and nice chrome one... but on my bike It doesnt bother me that much so for now I think I’ll leave just like it is. Just dropped 1k on legends suspension 😵😵😵😵 Cheers 🤘🤘
Thanks for the video man. I’ve got a 2013 Electra Glide Classic. I was wanting to do this too. Question: did everything match up mechanically and work ok? Is this exactly what you have to do to install-no spacers needed? Also, did you keep the 16” stock rear the same or change that too?
Yes the rear its stock, its not really visible so I didn't bother to change it. On the front everything worked out perfectly I just moved bearings from original wheel to the new one and just had to drill out fender mounting holes so the tire won't rub. pretty easy. already did one 1000 miles on this setup and no problem whatsoever .
I’m sorry but that’s ugly....ok at least My opinion made everyone laugh Lol 😂...but seriously. The color of that bike and that wheel is amazing! Definitely an eye catcher and not someone you see everyday. Your bike will definitely stand out in a crowd! Well done sir
changed the whole look dramatically, amazing.....
For sure, one of the best upgrades
Sweet vid and well put together. I dug the quick cuts getting to the point. Slick wheel. 🤙
Thanks, finally someone who appreciates my hard work 😅🤘
Might be a dumb question but where the rims directional or did it not matter how they were mounted?
Wheel doesn’t matter but the hub matters cuz there are two different size bearings due to abs

@@MotorHead963 sounds good. Thanks for the info.
Hey are those chrome or aluminum. And what brand are your tires. Sweet
Aluminium
Wheels amzn.to/3KhAzWV
Tire amzn.to/2ZkoeLb
Is the new wheel & tire significantly lighter than stock, or did you not notice?
Maybe just a bit
It still weight a lip but. I didn’t put it on the scale but I was surprised how heavy was it
how does it ride now with the 21".. can you see through the visor and cars?
The ride it’s perfect, don’t see much difference between stock.

I think I got info in the description under video
If not I’ll check it later on when I get home
@@MotorHead963 Yep… it was there. Sorry to bother you! Lol
No problem
Enjoy new look of your bike
I love how 21” front wheel changed look of my bike.

Yes, you can drill out existing mounting holes in the fender just a bit and just push it up from the back and than tighten the bolts, I did manny miles like that with no isssue
So i guess you can keep the front fender?
Yes, It finally looks like it should straight from the factory
Did you have to use lifters? I have a road king and I am putting a 21 inch on but I have a stock fender
No I didn’t, you can drill out mounting holes just a bit and tilt the fender upwards from the back and you will be good. Did over 10k miles like this and no problem
Thanks for the reply
Nice wheels bro are they dna I'm in the market for some and I need some new tires mine are 15 years old on my road king classic.

Hey brother you have dual disc the link takes you to single disk. Are they anywhere else?
This video it’s about new wheel, nothing about single disc. But I would never sacrifice braking power over looks. Dual disc looks good to me 🤔

Ohhh got ya, sorry.
It’s a old link now. But I got it from eBay
I’ll try to look it up
@@MotorHead963 thanks brother
I got second link that will take you to Ebay with dual disc

Gorgeous man!
thanks brother, I love it how it came out
Nice! Did you get a back rim to match. Or can you buy a matching back rim?
Yes I saw matching wheel but I’m not sure if I’ll get it
I can’t barely see rear wheel so it doesn’t bother me.
@@MotorHead963 yeah that's what I'm thinking as well. Im not going to to much money!
Thanks!
If I would install short 2-1 exhaust than I would be forced to do it 😅 I’m happy with the current setup
@@MotorHead963 😁👍
Looks good, I wouldn’t go with the whitewall though
I like the look but keeping it clean it’s a different story
Motor Head 963 i know the feeling. I dont run whitewalls, but my old shovelhead is chain drive, trying keep my rear wheel clean, omg
Where and how much for this rim??
I think I bought it on eBay 🤔 $400-500 🤔
Nice rim but slacking on the rotors you should of got matching rotors not hating still looks good just pulls off the whole look!

Actually stock rotors look good on that wheel
Yup, that’s why I left them but for sure it bothers some people 🤘
Thanks for watching
Was wondering it it rubbed or anything
Marcus Castillo no rubbing, just had to drill out fender mounting holes a bit to lift fender a bit. That’s all
What's the beat playing in the back ground??!!
Not sure let me check
