You could move to Swindon…accommodation is a lot cheaper and better there but commuting will be the only issue.. an hour to Bristol by bus.

Those apples are used to make apple crumble and apple pie. When you get an oven look up the recipe for apple crumble and try making it(its super easy), it taste soooooo good

Good to know that you are coping, Most of us except for the Nigerian politician “rich” children, went through the same process before getting settled. Although student accommodation might not be the utmost comfortable, however, It could have been a strategic move if you stay there with your course mate in order to get acquainted with your school and the beautiful ancient city of Bristol as a group of people.
Except for basic daily essentials, please consider not to fall into the temptation of shopping and spending money until you are reasonable familiar with the shops. Please wrap up (put on warm clothes) all the time.

My sister just apply for your National Insurance straight up, open a bank account and start applying for jobs. Work alongside studying, UK aint cheap to live. It will all be worth it at the end . I came to UK in 2008 on a student visa, with one hand luggage, two 23kg luggage and £850 cash, it was very tough dear 🙆🏻♂️ but thank God today I am a British citizen a house owner , owns 2 cars , 2 beautiful kids. With determination , hardwork, luck and prayer you will succeed

How did you get your first Airbnb apartment from Nigeria sis?
Bristol is not a big city, most cities in the Uk has more than one university. Education is a big investment in the UK.
Sis u need to boil it a bit more by adding a bit of water. Then mash it a bit and put it in an oven proof dish and put what they call apple crumble on top and bake till brown on top then eat with custard. It is nicer and tastier that way. You can buy apple crumble from any supermarket stores.

When you microwave Anything please always cover whatever you put in Microwave Oven, Because of the Radiation please Cover it up don't just shove it in there and close it please for your Health sake.
