Alycia, I’ve been thrift shopping for 50 years, my sister started me off by getting cool stuff at the Goodwill then known as the Crippled Civilians ! For real. I have an amazing collection of denim and leather plus boots and everything else as you can imagine. I went to university and studied art. I love Value village and have thrifted all over including the U.S. Canada has great thrift especially The G.T.A. Great channel.

Can’t even tell you over the years how many pairs of jeans I have circled through my wardrobe probably every brand you can imagine in every style cut color etc.!!! Thrifting Allows me to keep my jeans stash current and Fresh. Right now I have vintage wrangler Calvin Klein Levi’s & French connection. Also GRLFRND and l’agance and Abercrombie and Fitch. Colors range from acid wash/ light wash /white gray and black - skinny / bootcut to mom/dad Jean and trouser fit. I don’t have many pairs but each one is specifically intentional. i used to have 30+ pairs! Yet lol nowhere to wear them

All your cutoffs (whatever happened to that perfectly descriptive term?) look perfect on you--flattering fit and length, and not trashy. Congratulations.
Lee jeans with leather patch are 100 percent vintage they are from the early 90's era since i had a pair when i was 12 in 1995. all lee denim used to have a small leather patch. the denim quality was way superior to anything lee or levi's can offer today.
What size do you typically wear in Guess jeans? I am also a size 27 depending on the style and material of denim. Really interested in finding a great pair of vintage guess jeans but not sure how sizing works with that brand.
So the vintage Guess jeans that I have say size 18! Sizing was weird back in the day lol

Ty for the video. I love thrifted denim! But I think the 1st Levi you showed is a fake 😬 I don't know if you mind, but I was just learning about real vs fake bc I got a pair at Goodwill and wanted to know for myself. If you do a quick comparison of the waist tags you'll know. There are many videos on YT as well that show you how to know. On the other hand, the 2nd pair with the orange tag is a great find!!
Haha yes it definitely crossed my mind that they could be fake! They don't have the measurements on the back patch which I thought was weird! But they also say Levis on all the rivets. Either way I still love them! Thank you for the insight!
@@AlyciaThrifts an easy way to tell if they are real (I'm not sure if this is true with vintage levis) you can look on the back of the main button, and there will be some numbers there, those numbers appear on the tags, if they match they are probably real

There's a lot of variety in Levi's tags. It's more likely that they are areal but originally sold through a specific 3rd party stockist.
