Viksta-Lasse, a born musical artist and fiddler, was a student of the famous Hjort-Anders who had given him as home work to practise a certain phrase, common at that time, seldom played today. While practising the phrase it grew into a whole tune. The phrase is in the beginning of the first part played twice. He played it different ways during his lifetime which sometimes created confusion among fiddlers depending on when they learned it. Here I play it the way he said he played it the first time.
